@ That one's different. Forestry bees were particles that damaged you, but it never kills the bee that hurt you. When vanilla introduced bees, that's when "if they sting you, they die" came into place.
I can't wait for Dire facepalming for having spent an entire episode finding bees and producing a small amount of honey when he sees what the Bumblezone is like
What I can say about the bumble zone is definitely go threw the end game bumble zone structures. It is so well put together and really helps over all for productive bees for obvious reasons
It's rare that I know more about a mod than Dire (at least in its entirety and not just tiny tricks). But ProdBees/Bumblezone is one of them apparently. When the bee stings you, it will die. If you have the stinger, you can save it by sticking the stinger back into it's read end (not sure if you have to be that precise with clicking it though). Sneak clicking with a cage to release the bee will reset it's targeted home hive. Toss an Ender pearl at a standard Minecraft hive to teleport into it, or push yourself with a piston into it. When you're in the BZ, use honey bottles on the blocks with bees on them to get a friend of the hive protection before harvesting honey blocks or be allowed in some of the structures. You don't need the protection to mine honeycomb blocks.
If you put a leash on a few bees, have them live outside for a few nights your bees end up metaneurial so they produce day and night. Kinda a pain to set up. But worth it.
Oak, birch, or mangrove trees grown from saplings that are within 2 blocks (including diagonally) of a flower on the same y-level have a 5% chance to grow with a bee nest containing 1-3 bees.
In previous ATM's you could spawn more bees with the industrial foregoing auto spawner. It could make you every species very quickly, much like Gendustry and Forestry used to do in older packs before vanilla introduced bees. And it can be handy to spawn you a few hundred of the same bee and max out production of a specific or resource. A bit like mystical agriculture, but then with bees.
You could've gotten a lot of bees just throwing an enderpearl in the hive and going to the bumblezone instead of planting those trees next to flowers Or shall I say, you should've bee-lined the bumblezone haha
Hey Dire real fast, I found an accidental way to dupe the drops teleport upgrade, if you place an item with it in an item frame it will drop one and will also keep one in the item
I hope it doesn't go unnoticed how much effort Dire puts in to excessively using the word Be/Bee in the Bee related episodes. The Bumblezone episode should set a new record.
Dire Sir, Inventory Holder: can't get filters to set on slots. think item concept is really neat, just can't get it to work in ATM 10 (or Craftoria I tried as well)
yea, i completly misunderstood how the simulator worked, i just made the prosperity bee and placed the prosperity block right in front of the hive when i should have probably made a feeding slab instead, also completely missed the upgrades since i thought most of them just helped the centerfuge work better.
You can actually block bee access to the hive if you place the flower or bees block in front of the hive. If you don't use a feeding slab raise the hives off the ground. But if you want to use villagers to get sturdy cages they need the hive on the ground. So put the target flower/block in the ground... that's also were I place the feeding slab.
@@ockerspock3432 it's more of a side quest since i got all the mystical agriculture seeds and after experiencing end game makanism and trying i think forbidden arcanus, nothing can be worse.
I don't see why he wouldn't..... there isn't really much to it. I wonder if he worked out he should shrink and follow the flow to get the source honey....or is it royal jelly.
Hey Dire! Somehow my quests have gotten corrupted and I don’t know how to fix it. But it no problem because this awesome playthrough is a a great guide for how to progress with some unfamiliar mods and optimize and automate whenever possible. Kudos!
there are probably commands, but if you just go through all the reqs and press A on the items, you can just cheat them in through JEI then delete them, tho the quests aren't exactly needed.
the easiest way to get into bees is to first get the honey seeds from mystical agriculture for infinite honey and honey comb.
What happens when a bee stings you... The designer of the mod stayed true to the rule.
it dies. Honeybees when losing their stinger, dies.
Unless you replace the stinger
That's not part of Productive Bees, that's a vanilla mechanic.
@@pocketsizedweeb It was a part of the original bee mod though if I remember correctly.

Ya Bumblezone will change his life
I did the same thing, lol. Wasted about an hour getting honey first.
For sure lol

the great Void Upgrade. That will be a great joke at the end

Can't wait til Dire zones into the bumblezone and realizes how much he could've skipped from this episode. Cool to watch him progress though.

Build glass box, put hive and flowe in glass box. No more wondering bees.
Dire: checks Wandering Trader "Nope, nothing interesting.
Also Dire, 2 episodes ago: "You know, I kinda REALLY need to find brown mushrooms."

If nothing else I'm glad I wasnt the only one who had to search half an hour for a beehive LOL
Whenever you're dealing with wandering bees, box em in with glass, always. They're just not as good at staying on task as their irl counterparts.

haha
What happened to your other bee?
It went to the afterlife after stining you
17:43 this is why forestry bees were nice
I never thought I would miss Forestry Bees... but here we are.
@Triaxx2 there's a comunity version that has gotten to 1.20.1 !
Dont forget you can bonemeal a rosebush to get multiple rosebushes. Same with peony, lillac, sunflower, hydrangeas and some others but can't remember.
It would make sense to change the Home coordinates, so the teleport thing is not in your way when you are leaving the base.
Honey comb can go into compacting drawers, historically, so you also have blocks on hand
Put your glass bottles in the hive!!!!!! Arggg!!!!
Dire, dont wait for honey from the bees, just go to the bumblezone and get infinite
Remember that the point of all this was to make candles and get to 6x ore processing.
When a bee stings you they die afther a time. thats a dieing bee.
Bees are super important for all the progression. Aaaand you should start to check super factory manager. You will totally love that mod Dire!
i stole all the candle from the evoker ship, they are very kind
I miss chickens mod😔👍
Clearly Dire never watched the Bee Movie. Bees die when they sting someone

The fireward ring is good.
27:50 so many bee puns!
Shift Right click a cage with a bee on the hive to set there home there
That would require Dire to read tooltips unfortunately
Beehives used to glow in the dark... is that still a thing?
Hek dire, should read into the bumbelzone mod first. There's a lot off end game people don't know about also the mod makes bee's easier ❤
27:39 Dire, you ok dood? XD

You should put a elevator on the roof too.
just go bumblezone for all the honey and stuff u need
yay
Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees
Beeeees
dire will not enjoy the bumble zone
I don't see why he wouldn't..... there isn't really much to it. I wonder if he worked out he should shrink and follow the flow to get the source honey....or is it royal jelly.
Me when bees: 🥰🥰
Me when bees but it is chicken-sized vanilla bees instead of Forestry elegant producers: 😴😴😴
bees lose their stinger when they sting something (you) and that's not something they come back from.
bees go burrr.
First on a Saturday!
