I have a 2021 Avenir and LOVE IT! ❤️ Upgraded my 2011 Enclave. It is a great daily driver and family hauler. I've enjoyed the heated steering wheel the most. And the adaptive cruise is nice. Wish it had the Super Cruise feature, though.
@@sansinutube The 3.6L V6 motor in the enclave did have a rocky start, from 2008 to 2012, they were known for having tons of timing chain and transmission issues whether people did maintence or not. But they have made several improvements.. Especially from 2018 and on with the motor. It's pretty rock solid now. They will last a long time, but maintenance is key. I know people who have gotten 200,000 miles or more out of them, but you have to stay on top of oil changes and I would also change the transmission fluid every 50k miles even though the owners manual says you only have to change it if your vehicle falls under "heavy use" for things like towing or commercial use.. Change it anyway at 50k. And I actually change my oil in mine a little early quite a bit before the oil life meter tells me too just to make sure because oil changes are very critical when it comes to longevity with this motor. I wouldn't buy a used enclave unless I could verify the service records on the vehicle. If you can't prove the oil was changed at the proper intervals, then I would pass on it.
FYI… just got the Enclave in essence trim that is NOT the sport version you see here… and it’s quite different in appearance. There is a beautiful chrome grill that makes it look modern and gorgeous
Im surprised you buick sent you guys the essence (base model) trim. Usually brands would send the higheat trim with all the bells and whistles to shoe the brands full potential. im glad u guys got this trim as this is in majority of peoples price range within this class of vehicle.

This thing is essentially a minivan without sliding side doors. That could be a good thing from a usability and utility aspect, but don’t expect to be excited when you look at it 😄
Imo GM could’ve did more with the interior technology wise. I agree with yall on this one. The screen looks small and dated. the mainstream segment has moved to 9 inch screens, 12 inch screens and what not and this sticks with the older 8 inch one, that looks like a Nintendo switch. The gauges look right off the chevy malibu LT. Its nice for a base model but it definitly lines up pretty well to similarly equipped Toyota highlander XLE. But besides that its still a very nice product and that 3.6 sounds very nice. That turbo whine sounds unique and just like the traverse this is the perfect family and grocery hauler.
Airball- looks like its rolling around on cheap spare tires. I would save the money and get the lower costs std 18" alloys. Slam dunk- its a quiet smooth riding Buick that still has a V6
Do not know why people like those black wheels and black grills.Must be my age 63 but those wheels look like back in my day when you took the hub caps off.Use to be a black grill and not chrome meant it was a stripped down cheap base model.I like chrome
Good review whos buying this besides people in China where buicks are very popular im surprised buick didnt disappear years ago like pontiac and oldsmobilie
2023? Buick needs to get their act together, the interior/dashboard is still locked into 2018. Looks almost exactly the same as my '18 Buick Regal Tourx.
One gripe I have with some vehicles here in the states, why do the rear turn signals have to be integrated with the brake lights? Just from a safety standpoint, I would think it’s better to have separate lights for both functions
As long as drivers coming from behind understand the turn signal that is what matters. Having a brake light an indicator as separate lights could cause confusion if the are activated at the same time
Even though the ST package does add a little spice to the essence trim level, i think it has a little to much bling. Yes, its a Buick and is known as the vehicle for the elderly, i feel like it still has to much chrome. Especially on the back. That chrome bar looks nice but it really doesn’t match. That should be blacked out, and still have a little bit of chrome trim left around the vehicle to balance it out.
Roof rails on a tall luxury vehicle ??? Why ? Very few people ever use them. EVERYONE curses them in snow country, whenever they try to push snow off the roof. They should ONLY be offered as an option.
What I would like to see as a comparison video between Buick enclave and the new Honda pilot which I think is basically the top new all arounder right now!
What a shame!! With a price tag of in the mid $50K's, it doesn't even have an interior ambient lighting for a supposedly luxury SUV. I'll PASS! Buick - You need to step it up!
I definitely think GM should have used the CT6 rwd platform and really give luxury buyers a real sport suv and stop with the pretentious models they consistently come out with which are nickle and dime GM parts bin components that don't make vehicles like this compete well in its segment other then size and natural aspirated motor, which knowing GM they'll probably put a hybrid 4 cylinder in the 2025 model 💩🤥 Thank goodness there are a lot of vehicles to choose from ✌🏽🇺🇲

Ever hear an older person ask about another older person and say "they still living"? That's Buick. That engine sounds downright awful, like a blender.
I seldom see this car in the street….almost of the cars on the street are over powered by Asian made cars….I can’t appreciate the interior and exterior of this car….with the price its not my radar to consider….
The CX-5 may be nicer than other Japanese cars but the CX-9 I test drove felt cheap and just a people mover. Also, the Enclave comes loaded with a 6 cylinder and the Mazas just have a 4 banger, unless you get an actually fun to drive CX-90...which is a lot closer to the same size of an Enclave. The CX-5 is smaller.
Gas mileage is worse in the Kia, not a fan of the digital dash, can’t live with one knowing it won’t last past the warranty. Kia/Hyundai fires, horrible resale value up here. My brother in law is looking at one for his wife and two dogs. The dogs take up the back seat and cargo area on their own. No room for people. I would take this as it’s cheaper and no $15000 mark up. The Kia is $70,000 Canadian or so. No thanks.
They are. Which is why I bought a 2024. The new turbo 4 cylinder is not weak though. Its actually going to get 18 to 20 more up than the 310 hp that this v6 produces. But the reason I don't want it is because they usually have trouble with the first couple model years when they introduce a new engine. they did with this v6 when it first came out over a decade ago. But that has all been worked out and it's finally a good motor now that they are getting rid of it lol. Almost all automakers are getting rid of their V6 engines and going to turbo 4sm it's not that they want to. It's because of government cafe standards. So if you don't like it, remember which party pushes that crap next time you vote.. elections have consequences.
@@327SixShooter Oh, believe me, I know why they are cutting cylinders. As to the engines, I understand that the turbo 4-cylinders can make horsepower and torque at low rpms, but how smooth will they operate and sound? And what longevity will they have?

The Buick enclave is similar to the Chevy traverse GMC Arcadia The original Saturn outlook & The Cadillac XT6
How does it compare to the premium?
is it using the same body style as the older ones?
Didn't Buick cancel the Enclave going forward? Or maybe it's the Encore. I dunno. Regardless, you don't see many of these on the road.
The Encore is getting replaced by the upcoming Envista (cousin to the new Chevy Trax). The 1.3 I-3 engine and FWD are the only powertrains available.
How do you know which Enclave model you're buying the Chinese or American built model? Easy to be confused when they are both on the roads.
Here in the U.S, all Enclaves are built at the Lansing factory in Detroit, MI
