One thing missing on Delta's A350's is the tailfin and belly cameras which stream their views to the passengers' IFE screens. They are fitted as standard on most airlines' A350's and enhance the passenger experience. They would further differentiate Delta from its US competitors, so I don't know why they choose not to fit them.
The one and only time I flown Delta One was my first flight on Delta. It was a a350-900 from PHX-MSP. It was only a week old and delta would send them on high volume flights just to test them before sending them internationally. Well the flight to Phoenix apparently was completely full, but since it was returning to MSP at 12:59am to then land at 4:50am, there was only 12 people on the plane including me. I was booked in economy but once I asked the lead FA if I could just sit in Delta One for a few seconds and then move back to my assigned seat, she just let me sit there for the entire flight! I didn’t need to pay for a upgrade or use miles! So it was the best flight ever, even tho they were only offering premium snacks for the meals.
Over 70%??? as a DL employee myself, i can only dream it was that high... Our load factors are MUCH higher than that. And again, you only get Delta One if there are enough remaining seats, so it's not like it's taking any opportunities away from paying customers.
Longest flight of my life but totally worth it
I flew from Atlanta to Tokyo and back on the A350, I loved it. November 2023.
Glad you had a great flight!
I flew It July 2023
I’ve been to ATL at least 25 times, but I’ve never been through the corridor with the leaves on the ceiling. I like that part.😊

Does it have free wifi and how's wifi quality? Thanks.
Free wifi depends on the aircraft but when the aircraft is equipped, it is of high quality.
Do they still serve hot towels to Korea? I'm flying Delta One aboard the a350-900 as well, and I was wondering if they still follow suit to Korea.
They serve hot towels in all delta one flights
@ Alright, Thanks for the feedback!
Nice and concise.... One thing ...everyone always wants to know PRICE!!!
You'll find the price varies!
@@aviationmco HAA! we know that!!! so why not report the price??? that's the point!
Wow a post
Thanks
No way
New continent? Since when was Japan a continent? It’s an island nation….
Common Sense is lacking in these parts huh 😂. New continent for me as I have never been to asia…..
Japan > USA
🔥
It’s sad that over 70% of Delta One suites go to “Non Revenue” employees, family members, “buddy passes”, and retirees.
They deserve it, honestly if you can’t afford it then it should be given to those who make the company run.

Not at $1.8 Billion!

@@alyonapetrova694ffs… so does the money matter more than the employees?

YES! When 30% are paying the bills, WE have a problem
