Thanks! It doesn't happen anymore because I know what I am doing, but when I started teaching, it happened all the time. I do my best to make my skits as authentic as possible. Haha.
It depends on your students' proficiency level. Also, you don't have to teach the same sentence structure I showed in the video. It is just an example. Use it to review adjectives, nouns, verbs, etc. Here are a few sentence frames for your reference: 1) I ____ an apple (had, ate, stole), 2) I want a _____ dress. (new, beautiful, clean), 3) Can I play with my ___ ? (friends, toys, phone).
Successful lesson plans depend on many factors: proficiency level, age, grade, number of students and target language. I can't help you without knowing the answers to all these questions.
