Great video! slow and precise.
Can't wait till they are available for purchase...love your instructional videos...have made many accessories install on my RMAX easy! Thanks!
OMG! I can't wait to get these and install them. Thanks for the video.
Just order the front set to try them, thanks for the quick install tips
Thank you for the great detailed videos as you always do! 🤘
I finally got my extended flares the other day, I’m sorta surprised that they didn’t come with fender flare trim and I haven’t seen any comments about it. I feel like these could have been a cleaner fit from factory. I’ll mock it up with some 3M rubber to go between the flare and the fender like a rubber washer. I can just see all the mud and grit getting between the two and just wrecking the factory fenders. I might look at the mud busters inner fender too.
Can't wait to get these.
Nice install video. I love the Donkeys you have, very cool. Looks like you have the 6X1 wheels on currently.
Thank you! Yes they are 6+1 offset.
Just installed some, so on those top holes go in from the fender wheel with that bigger bit and you are able to drill out the original fender bigger with making the flair hole bigger. Your drill stop should do the trick I was just very careful.
I would take off the fender and use nuts and bolts. Those push pins are not tough enough for my needs. Thanks for the install tips.
I personally would rather have the pins shear off and the guard come completely off whole than possibly the whole fender get ripped off, but to each his own.
They look great but I wish Yamaha had designed fenders like this in the first place. Stock you might as well not have fenders at all. I guess Yamaha will be getting another large chunk of my upcoming paycheck. RMAX, engineered to make you spend money...
I love your videos and thanks for all your FREE advice... Hopefully I can ride without getting the interior and myself covered in mud in the future.
Gotta look into these. My 22’ Rmax XTR came stock with 30” Carnivores and they sling mud basically inside the cab. I’m upgrading to 32” tires which will be worse.
Kinda pissed YAMAHA couldn't just provide 4 longer push pins for those top 4 holes.. I had 1 longer one in my junk bin that fit perfectly. I am gonna try to order some more to avoid that extra drilling step. Seems to be better locking all three layers together , imo anyway.
Otherwise, I like them and easy to install.
... but do they work to keep donkey doo from being flipped into the cab? Where did you get them? This is the first I've heard of a Yamaha extended fender flare!
These are Yamaha OEM available from ShopYamaha.com very soon. Part numbers are in the video description.
It looks like you have some type of guard/fender for inside above the front wheels. What is that? I am constantly pulling stuff out of that area and would like to cover it but not sure what to look for or where. Thanks.
Hi Wendy, those are fender well block off plates made by UORP:

I see you have the Tusk wheels and tires. Did this offset get wider then the stock wheels and tires?
I went with 6+1 offset, which makes my stance 2" narrower than stock, which is close to 5+2
I take it these are in fact “Yamaha” fenders correct?
Nice job on the instal, does the mud pack in without a bit of rubber between the two fenders?
Yes they are, thanks. I haven't noticed any additional mud but then again we don't see a ton of it like out East.
Any idea when these will be available to us common folk?
Partzilla shows them in stock.
What size wheels and tires are those?
14" Tusk Teton beadlocks 6+1 offset with 30x10" Tusk Terrabite tires.
I think your fenders are now wider then your tires and you were trying to get to 62" overall.
Not overall, only stance.
