This is my favorite Doors album. ..every song on it is good....Jim had another side of himself.. mellow and sweet.. Tell All The People... great opening for sure 😊
Robby and girlfriend Lynn got married in 1972. 50 year anniversary this year. December 26. They had just met in '68, when that clip of them was shot with him playing guitar by her.
The first rock album I ever bought. Heard the title track on an FM station, had to have it. That was in the summer of 1969.
Soft Parade is the most underrated song of all time.
I was so lucky to see them at MSG in 1970, promoting this album.. What a show! Full horn section(off to the side of the main stage).
The doors are rock gods jim was so young and powerful but all he wanted was to be a poet as long as we listen theyll be alive !
Why do baseball writers hate The Doors?

I've been a doors fan since high school, since the 90s, and I only just heard this album this year. Why? Why have I never heard this album before? It's awesome.
The more I listen to this record, the more I realize what a masterpiece it is.

The Doors were so good that everything they did became awesome, so is this album with the addition of strings and horns and whatever, Jim Morrison was a great vocalist and a great personality, the album reached the number 6 on the USA billboard chart, not bad at all for the most underrated album by The Doors, thanks for sharing.
