We use only 1% of the brain most of the time because we couldn't eat enough to use 100% all of the time (imagine eating 20x of what you are eating now, assuming the brain uses 20% of total energy intake). Besides, it's always good to keep a little extra boost to get out of unexpected situations, even for a split second.

Does this mean that the complete works of William Shakespeare is dull?!
Black in books but how the scenes are played and displayed in everyone's mind ?
