    Loved the video and great to see another left hander doing these drills

    Great lesson! I struggle a little with the lean in transition Liam is talking about and probably had the best "session" hitting the towel today out the back garden. I think this is exactly what I can add in to my sessions to help drill it into my head. Them little 30 yard shots sound so crispy when executed correctly, thanks for uploading mate

      Thank you for watching & your comments! The drills are a cheat code aren’t they!? I truly believe the 30 yard pitch drill has been the main contributor to my progress since this lesson. It’s a non negotiable now in my practice and warm up! I pretty much hit 10 perfect pitches packed with spin before I do anything else.

    Watched a few vids with Liam now and watched the two vids he did with James Wiltshire 4 or 5 times and always pick up a new nugget of information. Went to the range today and something clicked. Ive never felt or heard the ball rasp off the clubface like that before and 90% seemed to be consistent push draws. I think its time for me to become a TGN member!

      We always say this, the more you see his lessons and content the more you start to understand the methods. His TGN portal has hours of footage in there, well worth the £12.99 a month!

      Very clear! It seems so simple when he's explaining the golf swing doesn't it?

    Thanks Robbie, honestly one of the best UA-cam lessons I have ever seen. I was wondering about what you were feeling when practicing the one-armed drill. I've been having a go and it seems like once you've loaded into the lead side the club just wants to drop straight down, rather than being swung by the arm, if that makes sense. Especially after a few reps and the muscles start to get a bit tired. Is that similar to what you experienced? Thanks.

    • @eagleapparelgolf
      @eagleapparelgolf  2 місяці тому +1

      Thanks for the amazing feedback! With the one arm drill, I found when I strike them properly using the lean in, I get a stretch in my lead pec & shoulder area. Creating that natural lad. My arm doesn’t get too tired as essentially it’s pretty loose and is just along for the ride as such. I hope that helps 🙏🏻

    Love this lesson, thanks for sharing!
    Are you right handed playing lefty out of interest? From my natural pull into my lead side, I’m also working on standing taller and avoiding being ahead of the ball at impact (stuck) too…

    • @eagleapparelgolf
      @eagleapparelgolf  Місяць тому +1

      Yes I am actually! The standing taller and leaving my arms up in transition is a good feel for me when doing the drills to stop the pully one 🙏🏻🦅

      @ keep up the great work, absolutely flushing the ball!
      Same focus for me currently, leave the hands / arms and focus on falling into the lead side.

    What Liam does so well is load store and release energy through the body.. hard to teach this stuff! If the player was loaded correctly with the centre of mass at the top, there’s very little instruction required as there’s very little time available to change! The arms wrists shoulders are trying to compensate for poor loading IMO. 🥂

      Absolutely, he’s a master at using the body efficiently! We think he does a pretty good job at teaching the methods!

      Do you think you can learn this system easily..I've kind of stuck on 9 handicap and lacking power and distance

    • @John-nl2kt
      @John-nl2kt 2 місяці тому +1

      @@brendanhawkins1755 Hi Brendan the system is very easy to learn but requires full understanding on your behalf. There’s only two available power sources in the golf swing. The wrist arms shoulders is one that requires massive amounts of practice and often breaks down under pressure due to your fast twitch muscles tensing up. Or using body mass as the main source of energy. If you could find a heavy object like a medicine ball or some other weight that you can caress to add feedback to yourself it is much easier to learn as the golf club is so light its easily manipulated. Hold a medicine ball or similar with your arms folded over it as if you had a small baby in your arms, now using your back muscles open up your chest and move your mass over the right hip. You’ll know when you have this movement right, when you can lift your left leg off the ground because you have moved your upper body mass over the right leg and you are comfortable and balanced on the right side of your body. The torque is created on the downswing which allows you to literally unwind and swing no thinking no timing issues.
      No dipping of the shoulders as this will cause a reverse weight shift. Once you get familiar with this feeling eventually the wrist arms shoulders will naturally become less passive and now you have a far more reliable source of energy. Happy golfing 🥂

    The problem with one hand only shots is amateur golfers struggle to make good contact with the ball when they try this - turn the club upside down and lose the ball - it will achieve the same intention - without the mis hits - the towel drill is a good one

    • @eagleapparelgolf
      @eagleapparelgolf  Місяць тому

      @@Graham-bg3ij you’re right, it’s a difficult drill and requires the body to move correctly hence the reason why it’s a good drill in the long run!
