I have been searching for this wonderful explanation for the last two years! I was working on this having spun out for the longest time. It had me striping draws, but when I stopped exaggerating I couldn't rotate through again without spinning out again. It'd be really interesting to see how Dana would work you into at least enough rotation after this extreme in order to get you to a finish whilst retaining the good movement you achieved here.🤔 I'm mid singles for reference.

I use that ‘staying closed/back to target’ feel when my driver starts getting a little slicey during a round. I don’t hit it as far but it puts the ball down the middle. Also works great for me out of fairway bunkers. Good stuff as usual. Thanks!

Been watching Dana teach Jerome from "Scratch to Scratch" ever since Jerome started going to him. Recently been looking into him teaching other students and I've learned if the student listens to Dana carefully without any preconceived notions in their brain and don't interrupt Dana as he explains what and why he wants from them, it's so easy to get it. I mean get what Dana thinks will work for them. I want Dana as my coach. Been looking for years now for the right coach. They all seem to be fixed on their way of swinging a club, whereas it seems Dana is willing to compromise for each students physical and athletic abilities. He understands we all have different body functions, mobility and athleticism.

Really interesting. I know my ball striking got so much better when I took a lesson from my old High School teammate, Aviara teaching pro Ted Norby 24 years ago. He taught me to start my swing with the lower body. I did it sporadically before, I would do it instinctively if I remained in constant motion right until I started backswing, but usually only when I was trying to hit the ball near my max distance. A not so important point, but you wouldn’t do an EEG on your forearm muscles, it would be an EMG.

The funny thing is that only after I got it did, I get it. If that makes any sense. Always good stuff from BBG!
So, I would start the downswing by pressing down with your left knee, which cause the reaction of the club going back. in other words, don't take the club back with the arms, it should feel more like a reaction than an action. And swing should match your gate, the way you walk, as we all know how to walk since we have been doing it for a long time, and yes one can walk like Frankenstein or a zombie, but don't swing like a monster swing the way you walk. Rhythmically and efficiently.

I don’t understand why they make something like this so expensive? I’d imagine 10% of people who would be interested buy this because of cost. How much does it cost to make hackmotion?? $20 per unit? If they were actually that confident in the results of this training aid why not sell it for $50 and then you’d get at least 80% of golfers buying it if it’s that good???

Isn't this hack motion an expensive version of the old swingyde traing aid ? Except its 500 dollars cheaper and it doesnt give u a read out at impact. I used that a few times talk about hitting the ball solid. The problem i had with it i would hit the ball to the right but i should have set it up differently from the instructions. You can buy knock offs of it for about 5 bucks now
