The man was out for a year with would could have been a career ending injury for a guy his size and came back like he never left. The man is unstoppable. Midrange jumpers were never inefficient. It's no ones fault that players stopped hitting them. The truly elite scorers, are 3 level scorers. Which includes the midrange shot.

The thing about a midrange shot is it makes you unpredictable and almost unguardable because first off if you can make a 3 pointer that’s already hard to stop because it makes you have to guard high up then gives you more options to blow past the defender for a layup or dunk then when the defense adjusts to that strategy and has a big in the paint helping if you can stop on a dime and do a hesi and pull up from midrange efficiently it’s very very difficult to stop you 1 on 1
So sad that’s he’s not playing in the all-star game... really hoping he comes back healthy after the break 💯

His defense improved on warriors, he is good. But not as scary on offense as Steph. That’s why in all the finals, Steph was double teamed, Kd was single covered.

MJ's first step is that deadly. MJ didn't need a quick release, he relied on his footwork to get to his spot, and that's more Unstoppable.
