They literally got no bigs that can match up with kg. Porzingis too soft

KP not stopping KG, but he goes off offensively, so does KG. The difference is that KP is far more versatile and can hit BIG 3s. jrue neutralizes and out scores rondo. Ray allen is the realest 3 point threat, but jalen brown is clutch and more versatile on offense and a defensive dog, so he will get buckets from the 3 and in the paint. Pierce and tatum would be amazing to watch. Both 3 level scorers. tatum is longer more athletic a better rebounder and can score and assist easier and better than peirce. All peirce is going to do is score, but tatum will make it hard, but tatum is going to do it all, and peirce wont be able to keep up with his athleticism and is likely to get into foul trouble. I will take horford over perk ALL day offensively and defensively. Now lets talk about white, who is matching his defense and offense? not eddy house. Peyton pritchard is enough to match house on offense and defense he would hound him on defense play great on offense.
That 08 team beat ATL with prime Joe Johnson & Smith, Beat CLE with prime LBJ, beat DET (59 wins) & beat LA w/ prime Kobe and Gasol. Healthy teams too.

@@izzynarvaez1223I know matchups are VERY relevant when it comes to ball, and I initially did believe that ‘24 is wiping the ‘08 team (mainly because of defense and three pointers), but then I think of how their entire core got older and still pushed the Heatles to 7 games. Doc would need to implement a masterful plan though to win (he did have a good game plan against Kobe but it wasn’t anything revolutionary). I think the series would be incredibly close in the end.

Yeah Nembhard scored 32 and 24 in game 3 and 4... but he also had an opportunity to win game 3 then let Jrue Holiday steal the ball and lost them game. Then at the end of game 4 he got blocked by Jaylen Brown and then let Jaylen Brown steal the ball both in the last minute or so of the game. He played well and kept the Pacers in those games, but ultimately he let the Celtics win in the final minutes of both games.
Unfortunately, Luka and Kyrie are not going to make those mistakes, especially in the last few minutes of the game, and will be much harder to defend against.

The idea that the modern Celtics could be them is out of touch with reality. 08' team had 3 superstars, which is why they were called the original big 3, before Lebron went to Miami.
