I’m going to be so upset if Blonsky ends up being a bad guy again after this episode. He went from nearly forgotten villain to being one of the most lovable characters in this entire universe.
He's been and done exactly what he said he would. His entire situation here would have to be completely destroyed for him to go all "bad guy" after this.

In fact I’ll go you one further: as much as I love the show I’d like to see if anyone can name one single male character we have seen in any episode of the show who isn’t portrayed as: A) A villain B) suspicious Or C) inferior to ALL the women around him. Hell look at Mr. immortal! That guy is a straight up avenger in the comics and they decided to throw him under the bus in the show by making him yet another guy who’s just out there taking advantage of all the women around him. What prompted that insulting change? And before anyone goes to point out about how wonderful and supportive all those men in Blonsky‘s support group were allow me to point out one thing; ALL of those characters are superVILLAINS. And all we really know about them at this point is that they are hanging out alone on a private property (that is way suspiciously heavily funded despite the fact that we have never been told where any of that money is coming from) taking some kind of private sessions with a confirmed super villain that we want to think it’s rehabilitated but honestly nobody is sure yet.
The reason Jen was invited to the wedding on last weeks episode is because she was the bottom rung in her high school friend group, who did whatever the other girls wanted her to do. They knew they could get her to do the shitty stuff like ironing the guys shirts and cleaning up because that was her role in that “friend” group, so she was invited for that purpose. That’s also why Jen showed up as She-Hulk. She wanted to show off and change the dynamic of her relationship with Lulu & Co., but as soon as she slipped back into “Just Jen” so as not to take attention from the bride she reverted to how she was in high school with them.
The name of the tow truck company - Slott - was an Easter Egg; a lot of the concepts for the show are lifted from She-Hulk comics written by Dan Slott.
Even as a guy I must say I found the part where Jen was freaking out over being ghosted and confessing her insecurities about it quite wholesome....and I just know the haters on tik tok are gonna go crazy over that.
After the first episode, this is my favorite episode. I love Jen and I really like watching her come to the realization about her split personality. I also love at how pissed off the Incel crowd gets.

I freaking loved this episode... But why couldn't they just let Josh be an actually decent guy who got kidnapped because making him a secret bad guy is WAY too predictable. Also MMMBop and IDGAF? Excellent song choices. I love how they used more obscure villains in this episode
Josh is definitely a bad guy. But the doctor wasn't. He was honest and he didn't like Jen in that way. It sucks when someone we like doesn't like us back but it doesn't make them bad.
*Spoiler-ish but not really* El Aguila actually has a cool sword, but… . . . . . . . . . . . the bioelectricity is his actual mutant powers. Effectively making him the “3rd” mutant in a Marvel series after Kamala and Mr. Immortal.
Yeah, we knew Josh was sus. It really is a weird mixed message this show is sending. It's simultaneously saying both parts of Jen are great while reinforcing Jen's belief that She-Hulk is the better half. I look forward to seeing how all of this disconnected stuff finally connects for the finale.
Nothing mixed about it. It's literally male bashing caricatures of men, while putting all the female characters on a pedestal. The writing is so bad, that it's not even subtle. Men she dated are all shallow self absorbed idiots or a con artist, men in the group are all buffoons, wrecking crew were incompetent, Mr immortal was a coward, the prosecution attorney from the beginning was all of the above. Meanwhile all women on this show are bright, competent, and suffer due to the men (other attorney, paralegal, Jen). This is what I imagine a 12 year old would write after auditing a radical feminism lecture.
I actually understand the guy who had a night with She-Hulk and then woke up to "just Jen" making breakfast. She kinda gives off "little sister" vibes sometimes. Yeah, she's cute, but... she's cute. And cute isn't always sexy (although it can be). Plus, even if you've been told about it, going to bed with one person and then waking up to another person has to be weird. I do appreciate the episode where he got to say "she just isn't my type." There's no arguing with that, types are types. Preferences are preferences. Having one doesn't make you a bad person. I feel like her look to him in the courtroom said that. I still have no idea why people have been losing their minds over the upcoming Daredevil cameo. He had his own show, it was great, you can still go watch that, it's still great (so are Jessica Jones and Luke Cage btw). Kingpin was in Hawkeye, same actor. So why is everyone losing their minds over this upcoming cameo? Let's just enjoy this show for itself. The concept of "canon" is bullshit. The thing with "Wrecker" that bugs me is that somebody paid him to attack her, that was said. And he didn't give that up. The three-date rule is hug, kiss, sex. She sorta went nothing, nothing, sex. Still works, I guess.
@@alphanerd7221 Oh no, I liked him a lot! I really do! He had his own show, and it's really good! People should go watch it! But certain people freaking out about him being in the MCU is pointless. It's not like he hasn't been given a good chance or a good show up until now (like John Constantine, for example). He had a great show, and it had a great run. Just not in the "official" MCU, so certain "fans" don't count that as "counting." But they should, because it was a damn good show. Would I like to see more of Charlie Cox as Daredevil? Absolutely, he's great. Am I going to scream and shout at any hint that he'll appear in the MCU? Absolutely not.

It was way watered down (they put it on NBC for fuck's sake) and they called it "Constantine" instead of "Hellblazer," which just warns you that they're watering it down, plus the Keanu thing. Then they based him randomly (actually for filming purposes) in Georgia rather than London, with is a huger deal than you might think; London is as much a character in Hellblazer as anyone ever was. They cast the main character just perfectly, but then fucked up everything else. Just like with "Lucifer" on the WB.

I love the pre-trolling in She-Hulk. She's the perfect character to do that with as she can see the captions in the comic books and often responds to them. Deadpool and She-Hulk had a crossover some time back, and I'd love to see that in the MCU. Also, Jen is adorable and there's no universe where'd she'd be unnattractive. I love these reactions! I was so excited to see She-Hulk was going to get her own series as she's been a comic favorite of mine since the John Byrne runs of late 80s to early 90s (I read these a long time ago when they were coming out when I was back in middle school, and my memory is bad in my old age). I really don't understand the hate for the series. It's accurate to the comics! There's no way Jen would ever turn down an opportunity to twerk with Megan Thee Stallion.
Agreed!! I still have the Byrne run of her comics as well as a graphic novel and a few others. If I remember correctly, the comics (that run) emphasized the ridiculousness of stereotypes as well. I think the series is pretty much doing the same, maybe amped up a bit more. I still really like the series, not sure love yet, but love Jen and most of the characters for sure!
I think this episode is a good place to point something out about Jen, She-hulk, & the gama mutation; (at least in the comics) the "hulk mutation" doesn't "turn you into a big green monster", it "reflects your inner self." So, Bruce who has DID and 37 metric tons of untreated childhood trauma from his alcoholic father becomes a rage monster, The Leader (only seen in pre-mutation form in the MCU) is like 3 feet tall and has a giant head in the comics(gets psychic powers instead of strength) because he values the mind above all else, Doc Sampson (Bruce's therapist in the comics, and Betty's new boyfriend in the Hulk movie) basically just gets "normal person buff" and his hair turns green. Jen turns into the person she always wished she was, looks aside: the outgoing party girl who demands attention and isn't a doormat. In some comics, her hulk form even changes to reflect how she currently views herself.

I really related to this episode very much that it almost made me cry, I can also relate to hurting on the inside and not being able to tell anybody 😞, this episode was also funny too and very sweet and Jen is pretty damn great nobody sees that except me and you lol 😂 loved all your comment in this reaction and yeah 🥰
I was rooting for Josh :(. Wholesome episode. It was cool to see El Aguila in live action, I remember seeing him in the Luke Cage and Iron Fist comics and he was definitely as colorful as he is in the show.
Tatiana Maslany has really owned this role. The episodes have genuinely been getting better and better for me and I think this was the best episode so far. I hope Emil stays a reformed guy, Tim Roth is really in his element. Your reactions when Jen was just staring at the phone were great 😂

Well, it looks like Daredevil has ghosted you... I can't believe that I just the Porcupine and El Aguilar in live action! The Porcupine was a favorite villain design since I was a kid (even thought the suit version depicted here was his first version and I preferred his second version). And El Aguilar's sword is an ordinary sword but his power (or bioelectricity as mentioned in this episode) needs the sword as a conduit to release his power. I find it highly ironic that the "traditionally" attractive individual (Josh) mistreats Jen while the so-called "villains" (Abomination, Porcupine, Saracen, Wrecker, Man-Bull, and El Aguilar) treat Jen with respect and help her self-esteem...
You deserve to be with someone, as well. It's heart warming how much you care that Jen is treated right and dating a quality person. The whole time, I was thinking that you also deserve to be happy with a quality person. I hope you find them, cause your mind is attractive and needs to be shared. ❤
I wouldn’t be surprised if this sets up or leads into Captain America: New World Order. Especially since The Leader is confirmed to be the main villain in that movie (he was last seen (in human form) in The Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton, and is a Hulk villain in the comics). He was the scientist that got some of Hulk’s blood in him in the 2008 Hulk movie, after helping Blonsky turn into Abomination. It would also be interesting if Kingpin is somehow involved too with whatever the deal is with getting Jen’s blood
I loved this episode and enjoyed the previous one. In general, I wouldn't have minded longer seasons like the Netflix shows, where it had slower build-up and focused more on character development. I don't want every Marvel shows' focus to be big CGI fights.
The disskussions about Blonsky etc -- I have been there when I first watched it just after it came out. Only now did I realize (crossover warning) that Villanelle (pleyed by Jodie Comer) probably would have a crush on Jenn, for her cleverness, goofiness, but the main trigger would be her HAIR. Think Sandrah Oh... ;-).

This was a fun episode, really enjoyed the focus on Jen. And that opening montage was adorable before it turned sour. I don't think everything is really going to be connected to a larger plot, though many people seem to expect so. Of course I might just be naïve and eating those words in 2 weeks, but this felt like a full on bottle episode, and I'd like to believe the retreat is 100% genuine. Even Wrecker is supposed to come across as truly reformed imo, though a scene of him explaining _why_ he attacked Jen would have been nice. But with how obvious the Josh reveal was it seems to me the show isn't going for subtlety, it's wearing its' heart on its' sleeve and that's fine by me.

I really don't think it was a setup to get Jen to the retreat, since it would require the parole officer being in on the conspiracy in order to ensure it. And for what exact benefit to The Gang?

seeing this therapy circle was really the fun this little group was all low rate marvel supervillains from the 60s 70s from blade, iron man and dardevil and thor sometimes marvel creates villain like thanos and dr doom and sometimes marvel creates guys lol
Think im in line with your point, would like to know where this is going as there have been bits and pieces throughout the series but feels kind of disconnected so hoping the last two episodes give us both some good action and possibly a direction as to how she will fit in to the whole marvel picture going forward. Have not seen daredevil but we are also yet to see Frogman who we did see in the initial trailer.
Everyone all butthurt about josh I'm rooting for Todd since he's the only man to show a authentic interest in her. Probably a bad guy but I want Jen to stop chasing dudes for the snusnu and get with someone who makes fresh fries at the pad.

The number of obscure comic book references in this series is something I've been missing since Agents of SHIELD ended. If it helps (which it won't) the matador and Man-Bull are both old Daredevil villains. I got a particular kick out of Man-Bull as I recently re-read his first two appearances (The second from the Daredevil and Black Widow era) and holy balls, was he ridiculous! It's good to know that some version of that madness happened off-screen in the MCU, and that he grew into a an entertaining character. Still, the big news for me is that Mr. Kline is MCU canon! Did Tony have to fight a guy in a mankini like in the comics and end up with no explanation of what happened because DD and the Black Widow handled it? Did Foggy get blackmailed out of being DA by a time travelling robot? At least now we know what was going on during the blip, and honestly, it's enough. Just to know that some version of it happened. We don't need to see that on-screen.
Sorry, I should explain: Man-Bull said he was the result of a weird science experiment, which is a reference to his origin in which a mad scientist was working for a mystery cigarette smoking villain called Mr. Kline, who turned out to be a robot from the future. Who smoked. Actually now that I think about it, Taika Waititi could probably make something of this.
Who wouldn't wanna date Jen?? Not only is she obviously beautiful, but then she's so intelligent and charmingly awkward. It's be game over for me, man .
Actually El Aguila was a way better character in the comics... No less stereotypical (he really needed a Spanish writer at least for a while) but it was still well better

I'm not sure if we're getting a second season but there are apparent future plans for Jen/She-Hulk. I can't remember where I read it but she's supposedly showing up in the next Captain America movie.
Regarding the lack of mid/post credit scenes in the last few of eps...Since I heard this show was heavily edited last minute (like a lot of the 1st ep was supposed to be near the end of the show), I suspect they decided to move them to the end of the ep, meaning that the last scenes in these were originally meant as the post-credit stinger. Maybe because they wanted to be sure people didn't miss them for surprise (like the DD mask) or plot-wise, like this one with Josh.

Once Jen took Josh into her home and I saw the other side of the bed being empty the next morning, I had a creeping feeling in the back of my mind that he did something while she was sleeping. But I was hoping that maybe he was kidnapped instead of being a bad dude.
Hey, Angela! There were five good things about this episode. First, Blonsky's alteration of the Hindi greeting "Namaste" to "ABO-maste"! Lol. Second, the tow truck company was called "Slott" after Dan Slott, the writer of the She-Hulk legal series this show is inspired by. Third, Porcupine's outfit was spot-on! Fourth, the fourth-wall breaks are still a highlight. Five, although not a bloodsucker in the comics, Saracen identifying as a vampire is the second mention of vampires in the MCU after "Loki". They're setting up Blade. Yet again, another guy has proven to be a cad. As expected, Josh is predictably working for the Intelligencia. Yet again, more people with powers keep popping up without rhyme or reason. Who are they fighting? Not the Avengers. How are they walking around free in the world of the Sokovia Accords and the Blip? Yet again, Wrecker aka Dirk Garthwaite is further ruined as a character. This guy is one of Marvel's dependable, perennial thugs. Who will ever take him seriously as a villain after this? The biggest problem with the episode is the problem with the whole series! In the comics, SHE-HULK IS THE STAR, NOT JENNIFER! The show has flipped the script in a complete betrayal of the character. Jen is supposed to love being She-Hulk but, in the show, she loves being Jen and wants the world to love her as Jen. She has difficulty accepting herself as She-Hulk. The whole episode revolved around her accepting herself as Jen when it should have been about her accepting herself as She-Hulk since that is what she has an issue with in the show! Therefore, the episode is inconsistent with the through-line of the series making it a pointless exercise and a wasted installment. All they had to do was follow any nine issues of the 1980s John Byrne run of "Sensational She-Hulk" and they would have had fun, sexy comedy gold instead of this cringe-fest!
The was a marked improvement in the show for me. It'd been on life support for awhile. But this episode I actually found myself laughing at some of the jokes. Frankly I'd only been watching since the first episode for the other MCU characters and story. I'm still not sure what they were planning with this show. IDK maybe stress from life was just getting in the way of me enjoying the show.
I don't know. I think they kind of get right how hard dating can be even for someone as attractive and smart and funny as Jennifer. Wrecker is totally untrustworthy, or he would have told her about his boss. This was a beautiful episode though and I enjoyed seeing Jennifer's character growth.
I guess it could be “SPOILERS” But imagine instead of josh since we figure this episode that he’s not all that we thought. That daredevil ends up being that person for Jen. I wouldn’t have a problem about it but I know a bunch will have a say about it

Oh, I think there'll be another season. You know why? If I were a betting man... I'd bet $500 that we'll get Matt Murdoch (the lawyer) in episode 8. We'll get Daredevil in episode 9... and they'll leave the story on a cliffhanger. :> So if all the rabid fanboys want to see how the Daredevil story arc plays out... Y’all remember after doc strange 2 came out and everyone was like they thought it would be better and they said it was ok I think people are use to marvel making these 10/10 shows and movies but when they do a more grounded movie or show fans aren’t disappointed they just think it could of been better I think that’s what happening with she hulk it’s not bad just not as good as i thought it would be that’s just my opinion samething happened with hawkeye too so far I give she hulk an 5/10
I was really hoping Josh looking too good to be true was a red herring, just to mess with us. Him being a plant to get her blood was the obvious assumption, so I'm a bit disappointed it was exactly what one would suspect. Forget Big Bads and world ending threats, at this point I'm more interested in her finding a decent guy before the season ends..

Started to think this show as sitcom and I start to enjoying it more. Just disappointed because the series is not living up to the "attorney at law" in the title.
Throughout the episode past friday you actually see Jen constantly scratching her neck on the right side so the Josh reveal seemed unnecessary to me. But I guess neither you nor the people in comments really pointed it out making the reveal a little more manditory. Also they showed a special needle at the end of the last episode which Josh was probably using to draw the blood.
Hopefully the final episode sees Bruce Banner wake up and we realize this entire show was just his nightmare! Never to see this version of She-Hulk and any of the characters from this show again!
Out of all the episodes I liked this one the least. That's not saying much considering I really like the show though. I was enjoying this episode up until the group therapy session. Those side characters weren't funny at all. I've seen it done better from movies like Anger Management. I liked Jens monologue as She Hulk but that was about it. But even that is rough to believe since Tatiana Maslany is not a 6 😅 I think Matt Murdock is gonna be in the finale episode. Feels like a good character to have in the finale at this point. Is it bad that I find this show very bland and boring so far? Which is a shame, since there is so much potential to do so much better. At this point I truly don't understand what this show is trying to be. It isn't a superhero show, as she doesn't want to be one and hasn't really been one so far. It isn't really a legal or court show, as those scenes are quite minimal and to me seem much weaker than they could have been. It isn't an action series or a deep character driven show, as that requires depth of character and development. There isn't much mystery or suspense in the show either and as far as comedy, it is also lacking in my opinion... As I said, it seems such a loss of potential. The very concept of people with superhuman abilities and how regular law deals with that should be a treasure trove of interesting legal conflicts, but the show does little to nothing with it. Let's take for instance last week's episode with mr. Immortal. He is a weak man that uses his powers to get out of consequences, responsebility and confict. And that is fine. But what annoyed me is the level of professionalism of our main legal team. They despise the guy they have to defend (another interesting thing to explore, defending somebody you disagree with) and instead of doing their job like any professional would have, they basically immediately betray their client and swith sides to the persecutors and help them nail this guy to the wall... I mean, when everybody on the accusing party is gleefully and thankfully cheering your name as a defense lawyer, you really haven't done your job. And the shame is that it is such an interesting case, considering many legal contracts are automatically desolved at a person's death. Personally I would have switched the roles and let the main legal team represent the victims and find a clever legal way to stop his abuse of the law. The same goes for the shapeshifting case. Personally I would have paired that case with Jen's usage of She-Hulk to get dates, as one is a form of catfishing and the other one is considered as fraud. It would have been an interesting question why one is okay while the other is undesirable. Again I don't hate this show, so every now and then it has it's moments, but as of now, I find it the weakest of all the Disney+ Marvelseries... by far...

I think you’re irrationally angry at a tv show about a lawyer who gets super powers and hilarity ensues. The fact this episode SHOWCASED what healthy emotional males are, and literally PUG being the ideal male in the series us completely lost on you because you relate too much with Mr Immortal and Dennis. Congrats, you’re toxic and you get to live uncomfortably with that.

And all we really know about them at this point is that they are hanging out alone on a private property (that is way suspiciously heavily funded despite the fact that we have never been told where any of that money is coming from) taking some kind of private sessions with a confirmed super villain that we want to think it’s rehabilitated but honestly nobody is sure yet.
The reason Jen was invited to the wedding on last weeks episode is because she was the bottom rung in her high school friend group, who did whatever the other girls wanted her to do. They knew they could get her to do the shitty stuff like ironing the guys shirts and cleaning up because that was her role in that “friend” group, so she was invited for that purpose. That’s also why Jen showed up as She-Hulk. She wanted to show off and change the dynamic of her relationship with Lulu & Co., but as soon as she slipped back into “Just Jen” so as not to take attention from the bride she reverted to how she was in high school with them.
With friends like them, who needs enemies.

Yeah, we knew Josh was sus. It really is a weird mixed message this show is sending. It's simultaneously saying both parts of Jen are great while reinforcing Jen's belief that She-Hulk is the better half. I look forward to seeing how all of this disconnected stuff finally connects for the finale.
Nothing mixed about it. It's literally male bashing caricatures of men, while putting all the female characters on a pedestal. The writing is so bad, that it's not even subtle. Men she dated are all shallow self absorbed idiots or a con artist, men in the group are all buffoons, wrecking crew were incompetent, Mr immortal was a coward, the prosecution attorney from the beginning was all of the above. Meanwhile all women on this show are bright, competent, and suffer due to the men (other attorney, paralegal, Jen).
This is what I imagine a 12 year old would write after auditing a radical feminism lecture.

I actually understand the guy who had a night with She-Hulk and then woke up to "just Jen" making breakfast. She kinda gives off "little sister" vibes sometimes. Yeah, she's cute, but... she's cute. And cute isn't always sexy (although it can be). Plus, even if you've been told about it, going to bed with one person and then waking up to another person has to be weird. I do appreciate the episode where he got to say "she just isn't my type." There's no arguing with that, types are types. Preferences are preferences. Having one doesn't make you a bad person. I feel like her look to him in the courtroom said that.
I still have no idea why people have been losing their minds over the upcoming Daredevil cameo. He had his own show, it was great, you can still go watch that, it's still great (so are Jessica Jones and Luke Cage btw). Kingpin was in Hawkeye, same actor. So why is everyone losing their minds over this upcoming cameo? Let's just enjoy this show for itself. The concept of "canon" is bullshit.
The thing with "Wrecker" that bugs me is that somebody paid him to attack her, that was said. And he didn't give that up.

But certain people freaking out about him being in the MCU is pointless. It's not like he hasn't been given a good chance or a good show up until now (like John Constantine, for example). He had a great show, and it had a great run. Just not in the "official" MCU, so certain "fans" don't count that as "counting." But they should, because it was a damn good show.
Would I like to see more of Charlie Cox as Daredevil? Absolutely, he's great. Am I going to scream and shout at any hint that he'll appear in the MCU? Absolutely not.

I'm gonna argue against John Constantine's show.
It was way watered down (they put it on NBC for fuck's sake) and they called it "Constantine" instead of "Hellblazer," which just warns you that they're watering it down, plus the Keanu thing. Then they based him randomly (actually for filming purposes) in Georgia rather than London, with is a huger deal than you might think; London is as much a character in Hellblazer as anyone ever was.
They cast the main character just perfectly, but then fucked up everything else. Just like with "Lucifer" on the WB.

I love the pre-trolling in She-Hulk. She's the perfect character to do that with as she can see the captions in the comic books and often responds to them. Deadpool and She-Hulk had a crossover some time back, and I'd love to see that in the MCU.

I was so excited to see She-Hulk was going to get her own series as she's been a comic favorite of mine since the John Byrne runs of late 80s to early 90s (I read these a long time ago when they were coming out when I was back in middle school, and my memory is bad in my old age). I really don't understand the hate for the series. It's accurate to the comics! There's no way Jen would ever turn down an opportunity to twerk with Megan Thee Stallion.

Agreed!! I still have the Byrne run of her comics as well as a graphic novel and a few others. If I remember correctly, the comics (that run) emphasized the ridiculousness of stereotypes as well. I think the series is pretty much doing the same, maybe amped up a bit more. I still really like the series, not sure love yet, but love Jen and most of the characters for sure!

I think this episode is a good place to point something out about Jen, She-hulk, & the gama mutation; (at least in the comics) the "hulk mutation" doesn't "turn you into a big green monster", it "reflects your inner self."
So, Bruce who has DID and 37 metric tons of untreated childhood trauma from his alcoholic father becomes a rage monster, The Leader (only seen in pre-mutation form in the MCU) is like 3 feet tall and has a giant head in the comics(gets psychic powers instead of strength) because he values the mind above all else, Doc Sampson (Bruce's therapist in the comics, and Betty's new boyfriend in the Hulk movie) basically just gets "normal person buff" and his hair turns green. Jen turns into the person she always wished she was, looks aside: the outgoing party girl who demands attention and isn't a doormat.
In some comics, her hulk form even changes to reflect how she currently views herself.

I was rooting for Josh :(. Wholesome episode. It was cool to see El Aguila in live action, I remember seeing him in the Luke Cage and Iron Fist comics and he was definitely as colorful as he is in the show.

I can't believe that I just the Porcupine and El Aguilar in live action! The Porcupine was a favorite villain design since I was a kid (even thought the suit version depicted here was his first version and I preferred his second version). And El Aguilar's sword is an ordinary sword but his power (or bioelectricity as mentioned in this episode) needs the sword as a conduit to release his power.
I find it highly ironic that the "traditionally" attractive individual (Josh) mistreats Jen while the so-called "villains" (Abomination, Porcupine, Saracen, Wrecker, Man-Bull, and El Aguilar) treat Jen with respect and help her self-esteem...
You deserve to be with someone, as well. It's heart warming how much you care that Jen is treated right and dating a quality person. The whole time, I was thinking that you also deserve to be happy with a quality person. I hope you find them, cause your mind is attractive and needs to be shared. ❤

I wouldn’t be surprised if this sets up or leads into Captain America: New World Order. Especially since The Leader is confirmed to be the main villain in that movie (he was last seen (in human form) in The Incredible Hulk with Edward Norton, and is a Hulk villain in the comics). He was the scientist that got some of Hulk’s blood in him in the 2008 Hulk movie, after helping Blonsky turn into Abomination. It would also be interesting if Kingpin is somehow involved too with whatever the deal is with getting Jen’s blood

I loved this episode and enjoyed the previous one. In general, I wouldn't have minded longer seasons like the Netflix shows, where it had slower build-up and focused more on character development. I don't want every Marvel shows' focus to be big CGI fights.

This was a fun episode, really enjoyed the focus on Jen. And that opening montage was adorable before it turned sour.
I don't think everything is really going to be connected to a larger plot, though many people seem to expect so. Of course I might just be naïve and eating those words in 2 weeks, but this felt like a full on bottle episode, and I'd like to believe the retreat is 100% genuine. Even Wrecker is supposed to come across as truly reformed imo, though a scene of him explaining _why_ he attacked Jen would have been nice.
But with how obvious the Josh reveal was it seems to me the show isn't going for subtlety, it's wearing its' heart on its' sleeve and that's fine by me.

Think im in line with your point, would like to know where this is going as there have been bits and pieces throughout the series but feels kind of disconnected so hoping the last two episodes give us both some good action and possibly a direction as to how she will fit in to the whole marvel picture going forward. Have not seen daredevil but we are also yet to see Frogman who we did see in the initial trailer.

Everyone all butthurt about josh I'm rooting for Todd since he's the only man to show a authentic interest in her. Probably a bad guy but I want Jen to stop chasing dudes for the snusnu and get with someone who makes fresh fries at the pad.
Kind of like reverse girl next door. When you realize youve been ignoring a great partner who already knows and likes you. Knowing you is a prerequisite for liking you but she doesn't show her current suters herself.
The number of obscure comic book references in this series is something I've been missing since Agents of SHIELD ended. If it helps (which it won't) the matador and Man-Bull are both old Daredevil villains. I got a particular kick out of Man-Bull as I recently re-read his first two appearances (The second from the Daredevil and Black Widow era) and holy balls, was he ridiculous! It's good to know that some version of that madness happened off-screen in the MCU, and that he grew into a an entertaining character. Still, the big news for me is that Mr. Kline is MCU canon! Did Tony have to fight a guy in a mankini like in the comics and end up with no explanation of what happened because DD and the Black Widow handled it? Did Foggy get blackmailed out of being DA by a time travelling robot? At least now we know what was going on during the blip, and honestly, it's enough. Just to know that some version of it happened. We don't need to see that on-screen.
Sorry, I should explain: Man-Bull said he was the result of a weird science experiment, which is a reference to his origin in which a mad scientist was working for a mystery cigarette smoking villain called Mr. Kline, who turned out to be a robot from the future. Who smoked.

I'm not sure if we're getting a second season but there are apparent future plans for Jen/She-Hulk. I can't remember where I read it but she's supposedly showing up in the next Captain America movie.
Regarding the lack of mid/post credit scenes in the last few of eps...Since I heard this show was heavily edited last minute (like a lot of the 1st ep was supposed to be near the end of the show), I suspect they decided to move them to the end of the ep, meaning that the last scenes in these were originally meant as the post-credit stinger. Maybe because they wanted to be sure people didn't miss them for surprise (like the DD mask) or plot-wise, like this one with Josh.

Hey, Angela! There were five good things about this episode.
First, Blonsky's alteration of the Hindi greeting "Namaste" to "ABO-maste"! Lol.
Second, the tow truck company was called "Slott" after Dan Slott, the writer of the She-Hulk legal series this show is inspired by.
Third, Porcupine's outfit was spot-on!
Fourth, the fourth-wall breaks are still a highlight.
Five, although not a bloodsucker in the comics, Saracen identifying as a vampire is the second mention of vampires in the MCU after "Loki". They're setting up Blade.
Yet again, another guy has proven to be a cad. As expected, Josh is predictably working for the Intelligencia.
Yet again, more people with powers keep popping up without rhyme or reason. Who are they fighting? Not the Avengers. How are they walking around free in the world of the Sokovia Accords and the Blip?
Yet again, Wrecker aka Dirk Garthwaite is further ruined as a character. This guy is one of Marvel's dependable, perennial thugs. Who will ever take him seriously as a villain after this?
The biggest problem with the episode is the problem with the whole series! In the comics, SHE-HULK IS THE STAR, NOT JENNIFER! The show has flipped the script in a complete betrayal of the character. Jen is supposed to love being She-Hulk but, in the show, she loves being Jen and wants the world to love her as Jen. She has difficulty accepting herself as She-Hulk. The whole episode revolved around her accepting herself as Jen when it should have been about her accepting herself as She-Hulk since that is what she has an issue with in the show! Therefore, the episode is inconsistent with the through-line of the series making it a pointless exercise and a wasted installment.
All they had to do was follow any nine issues of the 1980s John Byrne run of "Sensational She-Hulk" and they would have had fun, sexy comedy gold instead of this cringe-fest!

The was a marked improvement in the show for me. It'd been on life support for awhile. But this episode I actually found myself laughing at some of the jokes. Frankly I'd only been watching since the first episode for the other MCU characters and story. I'm still not sure what they were planning with this show. IDK maybe stress from life was just getting in the way of me enjoying the show.
I don't know. I think they kind of get right how hard dating can be even for someone as attractive and smart and funny as Jennifer. Wrecker is totally untrustworthy, or he would have told her about his boss. This was a beautiful episode though and I enjoyed seeing Jennifer's character growth.

Started to think this show as sitcom and I start to enjoying it more. Just disappointed because the series is not living up to the "attorney at law" in the title.
Throughout the episode past friday you actually see Jen constantly scratching her neck on the right side so the Josh reveal seemed unnecessary to me. But I guess neither you nor the people in comments really pointed it out making the reveal a little more manditory. Also they showed a special needle at the end of the last episode which Josh was probably using to draw the blood.

Out of all the episodes I liked this one the least. That's not saying much considering I really like the show though.
I was enjoying this episode up until the group therapy session. Those side characters weren't funny at all. I've seen it done better from movies like Anger Management. I liked Jens monologue as She Hulk but that was about it. But even that is rough to believe since Tatiana Maslany is not a 6 😅
I think Matt Murdock is gonna be in the finale episode. Feels like a good character to have in the finale at this point.

At this point I truly don't understand what this show is trying to be.
It isn't a superhero show, as she doesn't want to be one and hasn't really been one so far. It isn't really a legal or court show, as those scenes are quite minimal and to me seem much weaker than they could have been.
It isn't an action series or a deep character driven show, as that requires depth of character and development. There isn't much mystery or suspense in the show either and as far as comedy, it is also lacking in my opinion...
As I said, it seems such a loss of potential. The very concept of people with superhuman abilities and how regular law deals with that should be a treasure trove of interesting legal conflicts, but the show does little to nothing with it.
Let's take for instance last week's episode with mr. Immortal. He is a weak man that uses his powers to get out of consequences, responsebility and confict. And that is fine.
But what annoyed me is the level of professionalism of our main legal team.
They despise the guy they have to defend (another interesting thing to explore, defending somebody you disagree with) and instead of doing their job like any professional would have, they basically immediately betray their client and swith sides to the persecutors and help them nail this guy to the wall...
I mean, when everybody on the accusing party is gleefully and thankfully cheering your name as a defense lawyer, you really haven't done your job.
And the shame is that it is such an interesting case, considering many legal contracts are automatically desolved at a person's death. Personally I would have switched the roles and let the main legal team represent the victims and find a clever legal way to stop his abuse of the law.
The same goes for the shapeshifting case. Personally I would have paired that case with Jen's usage of She-Hulk to get dates, as one is a form of catfishing and the other one is considered as fraud.
It would have been an interesting question why one is okay while the other is undesirable.
Again I don't hate this show, so every now and then it has it's moments, but as of now, I find it the weakest of all the Disney+ Marvelseries... by far...
This show is literally male bashing caricatures of men, while putting all the female characters on a pedestal. The writing is so bad, that it's not even subtle. Men she dated are all shallow self absorbed idiots or a con artist, men in the group are all buffoons, wrecking crew were incompetent, Mr immortal was a coward, the prosecution attorney from the beginning was all of the above. Meanwhile all women on this show are bright, competent, stylish, witty, and suffer due to the men (other attorney, paralegal, Jen).
This is what I imagine a 12 year old would write after auditing a radical feminism lecture.
I think you’re irrationally angry at a tv show about a lawyer who gets super powers and hilarity ensues. The fact this episode SHOWCASED what healthy emotional males are, and literally PUG being the ideal male in the series us completely lost on you because you relate too much with Mr Immortal and Dennis. Congrats, you’re toxic and you get to live uncomfortably with that.

It's all good, for someone calling yourself funny, you don't make anyone laugh and now I have a good reason to bury your channel recommendations. I don't enjoy toxic people trying to put down someone they don't even know. Good riddance!
