I live in the City that he is buried in, Oshawa, Ontario, Canada ! I grew up catching my bus to school at the SE corner of Windfield Farms where Northern Dancer is now buried. Every morning the horses were there waiting for us. The farm is completely gone now, however, replaced by a University, but you can visit his grave.
@@pheonixaerialphotography8749 I live about 30 minutes away from where he was born. He was the greatest sire of the 20th century .If you want to see some great videos of him . Check out the Life and Times Of Northern Dancer the Greatest Canadian Horse of all TIme .If he had won the Belmont Race he would of been a Triple Crown Winner not just the greatest sire of the 20th century but also one of the greatest race horses of the 20th century
@@fklifter1 The Dancer is the greatest of all time, belmont not withstanding, he won the REMSEN, THE FLAMINGO, FLORIDA DERBY, BLUE GRASS, KENTUCKY DERBY, (track record), PREAKNESS, all as a 2 year old, he was born May 27, and with a quarter crack on his left front, all his life, and the greatest STALLION of all time, look at the record.
The greatest of all time, you were of noble blood, ran as a champion, made a COUNTRY proud, and a WORLD to take notice, love you forever.
The first horse I fell in love with as a 10 year old girl.
Northern Dancer is my favourite and inspiration ❤ 💕 💖 Lagand lives on forever😊 🙌 ❤ 👏
Great footage and info!
Thx for posting about this remarkable horse!
Probably the greatest horse never to win a Triple Crown. Derby and Preakness winner and the most important sire of the 20th century.
He is my favorite too. My heart horse was his granddaughter. My current mare is related too. My favorite lines by far!
Northern Dancer = the little horse at the sales nobody wanted!

Next they'll try to claim Secretariat!!
Little big horses. Northern Dancer, Smart Little Lena and *Raffles.
Been wondering what horse in his pedigree he took that unique round chunky body. Can see it in 1pic.of Natalma.
I understand that Northern Dancer had a very big heart. I live very close to where he is buried.
@@pheonixaerialphotography8749 . And a Northern Dancer horse through generations can be identifiable on appearance.
LOL! I don’t know but my little mare inherited it!
Eso es asi, viento en popa pa...
