There's only one Dusty Springfield ~ thank you for this!!
Classic Dusty! Looking beautiful and in perfect voice! Another masterclass in live performance! She was pure class!
Is it any wonder The Beatles were tremendous fans of Dusty. Pure talent. Just stands and delivers.
No lip synching. Love it.
No auto-tune, no skimpy outfits (she is actually wearing modest shorts, what we used to call "culottes"), the total respect by the military audience listening to what must have been a very heart tugging song for them. A snapshot of a very different time - I remember it well.
PS - Love this channel, thank you for the amazing content.
It makes me sad, I feel sorry for those young lives lost. Damn the with politicians!!!!!!
Absolutely wonderful! Takes me back to the '60s.
Hot Damn! She was good looking! A real hot blond BOMBSHELL! Oh and the lady also had a great voice! RIP DUSTY!
My favorite song of Dusty ❤️ love all of her songs God bless her 💗🙏🌹
❤️❤️❤️Dusty❤❤❤ A fantastic singer. Thank you for these new clips.
Almost stunning footage when you reflect on what those men were going through at that time.
It looks like Vietnam ?
It's Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.
What were they going through? They look indifferent.

Maybe Vietnam on the horizon
I love Dusty,!!
A PERFECT Voice❤
Thank you so much for sharing this unique performance in front of American soldiers!!! The host said they’re bringing Dusty in “once again”… and humorously; so she may have perforned a song with comedic spiels perhaps… looking forward to more…
Don’t you just melt with her airy singing of the word “just”
I read that last part just as she sang “just” 🤣
❤❤❤Dusty ❤❤❤ Outstanding!!!! Thank you
Wonderful, arms at 3 o'clock. Thanks.
Just look at those soldier's faces ❤️
The look on their faces …🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😩

There are no words? Watching this May 1, 2024.
She was my favorite female singer of all time.
This song, my favorite of hers.
Outstanding!
She had some beautiful songs 👍
Allot of emotions coming through the eyes of some of them soldiers.
She was great!
Love love love 💕
So nice. Thanks.
WOW!!
Fabulous ❤
About the same time as she was deported from South Africa for playing to a mixed race audience , breaking contract while on tour. Sister had Soul.
interesting The Byrds played the same year in South Africa and weren't deported. Guitarist Gram Parsons did refuse to play there so they went without him.
That was so shocking! Thank god that has all changed 🙏
@@recordguy4321 But did they play to a mixed audience?
This is from a series that ran though 1968. It was similar to Hootenanny in that the show was broadcast from a different military base or post every show and had a different group of artists. As you look at the members of the audience, keep in mind that the vast majority of them were headed for Viet Nam.
Thank you military.🇺🇸
Love Dusty Springfield. 💋.
I wish you would state the date and venue of these films .
One of my favorite Dusty songs. Something about this video makes me hungry for a breakfast sandwich. Too bad LBJ and the war machine insisted on killing so many of these young men for absolutely NOTHING, just like so many in the fraudulent Iraqighanistan fraud. Something the lucky BEATLES and other young Brit acts never even had to think about. Oh well, at least they got to hear Dusty!
What has happened 😮 ASIA really is going to suck 😢
I love Dusty and Petulia, but they stuck with those out-of-style hairdos for way too long!
They came back in style in 1978 with the B-52's.
