Not wanting to be rude but you don’t have muffin top or a big stomach. Love all you show but I’m in a size 16/18. And I’m only 5ft so it’s hard to hide a big tummy and find cloths that fit. I buy petite for length but the legs are so baggy I try to get stretch pants then the legs look nice. But I do like watching your vidio. Thank you

Here's something else for bellies: checking your liver out and then cutting out certain things in your diet might work wonders. Not drinking enough while eating lots of fibre or seeds can lead to a swollen belly area. Change your diet, and hey presto, say hello again to your nice flat belly, We all tend to swelling in the belly region shortly before and after the menopause, Yeah, it is what it is, LOL ❤️

I don’t see your tummy as ‘pouchy.’ Plus, one thing you don’t address which makes a huge difference is bust size. When you have a large bust the tummy is less obvious. In my case I have a small bust and rib cage, with a protruding belly like I’m pregnant. So a peplum top, for instance, looks horrid…makes tummy more pronounced. And something like the one color tank/pants with jean jacket would still make the protruding belly obvious. For my shape the most flattering is a-line or swing top.

Recently I saw a stylist online demonstrate a very convincing reason to wear a belt: The belt holds the pants, skirt, dress, or top close to your belly, but then you poof the top or dress bodice an inch or two OVER the belt, and it disguises the 'spherical' nature of your belly. The issue is the belly extending out from the body. If you cover the upper curve of its extension outward, it obstructs others' eyes from recognizing how much of a paunch you might have.
This is really helpful thank you. I am not overweight, I'm slim but because I have IBS I bloat so am always having to hide my tummy. I use one technique you've suggested here, by having a top that hangs more off the breasts and creates a straight line down over the tummy hiding it, I often wear a scarf as well to hide the bulge. I like the idea of layering as well whic I sometimes use.
Hi Serena, Apple Shapes look just as gorgeous as hourglasses. APPLES, please don't wear shapewear or girdles meant to cinch you in, they only give you handles or a pregnant belly look. Your top just needs to end an inch below your waistline, eh voila. Love ❤️

yes, it was a game changer for me - always wore jeans with belts, then hit 50 and had to make some changes due to bloating. Took me a while to realise the main reason for feeling uncomfortable was actually the belt, not trousers! I also started wearing more dresses - love accessorizing with belts there, so glad you mentioned it! New subscriber here!
I always wear black on top and bottom when Aunt Flo is about to arrive. Haha I feel preggers with my bloated belly, but that makes me feel a little slimmer until I start to deflate. 😂
