I went on that big ride you went on with a hangover from night before and got stuck on it, the ride jammed and they had to get the maintenance team to get us off. 😂. Hope you both had a great time and found your way back safely. 😊

Fantastic Video. I'm actually watching this while on holiday in the Black Forest, so all the ad breaks were in German as well! Much quieter here than it was in Munich - that ride puts my game of mini-golf I had this afternoon into the shade! The Germans really do know how to have a good time. Looking forward to part 2! My last full day in the Black Forest tomorrow and then the long drive back home to the UK on Friday and Saturday

My family and I went to Germany when I was 14 years old (1972) and the fqamily we stayed with were lovely.
We stayed in Peine near Hannover.
Took us everywhere, they also took me to a pub and told me to go to the bar and order it.

And what triggered it was the English music playing 14:10.
They were playing English music in the pubs in Germany back then.

James should have worn his velvet Lederhosen for the occasion. FUN FACT: The Northerners in England are known for being the most chatty and friendly people. In Germany it is the Bavarians (southerners) who hold this reputation.
That explains a lot. We found the Bavarians to be lovely people

Really enjoyed that. I think you should try the German Christmas markets as well. Perhaps that peanut company might sponsor it? Haven’t done them for a few years , but they used to be quite magical. Lots of tasty schnitzel,big sausages and great beer and hot wine on offer . Plus lots of snow😅
We'd love to. We will definitely be attending a Christmas market but not sure where yet
@@bythecurb Going back a good few years , we did Prague and Nuremberg markets in one trip. Prague was great value. The prices have probably now had a steep rise. I remember sitting having a nice meal for two and a few beers in Wenceslas( the good king bloke) Square looking out at the falling snow. I think the total bill was about £5. Being a tight Northerner , I thought it doesn’t get much better than this! The German Christmas markets were a bit classier, but more expensive .
Really enjoyed the video, there would be no chance of me getting on 1 ride after having a drink. Helen is relentless.
That was so good , loved the outfit Helen and there is not enough drink in the world to get me on those rides , great effort 🥰
