As a singer, if you are of that age, you need to conserve energy to survive the whole set. I am telling you, moving and singing at the same time especially hitting high notes is exhausting. People need to understand that hitting high range with 10-15 or more songs is superhuman ability trust me. Arnel Pineda is one of a kind. Arnel has been a superhuman since day 1. Few singers can do that.

Arnel Pineda is already molded in Rock n' Roll history. So as his bank account. At his vocal peak he was truly breath taking, no pun intended. Personally, I prefer he would finally retire and enjoy his life. Although singing live is beyond enjoyment.
Bon Jovi also can't sing the same way he did before because of his aged. But none made that big as an issue. TOTO band, Axl Rose also. So for me this is not an issue. Maybe there's a problem with the sound monitor. If you can't hear yourself especially in a concert like that, it will be really difficult to be in the right tune and probably it will be so hard to sing.
Yeah, if your earpiece doesn’t give you a good feedback and you can’t hear your band because of too much noise from the audience, you’ll go out of tune.

I totally agree. Arnel should be smart enough to lower his pitch voice and just open his mouth forward rather than force it out and scream coz that'll definitely mess up. But you're right the best thing to do is rest and Journey should slow it down. A lot of great singers experienced the same shit and some even lost their voice on the stage.
