Yes you can do that Aarti. Just edit the global publisher layout and add the new action in there.

I'm struck with Global Actions for Case object, I have added the action to the lightning section of the case page layout, but I couldn't see it on the case page when I'm in lightning view. Any suggestion would be appreciated
Hello Ashok, I am able to see actions on case records in lightning also. Can you please elaborate the type of action you want to be available over there and the procedure you are using to add it?
Salesforce Hulk I have a global action overridden with a vf page that's lightning ready and only uses a custom controller. I added that action to the publisher layout/case page layout in classic view. but when I switch to lightning I couldn't see it, but if I try to add it on Account/Contact layout its visible. For cases I see it's in the chatter feed only.
It will appear in the chatter feeds only Ashok because in cases & work orders object the action appears on Feeds Tab only. For more information on this please refer this link:

question: I have to create child cases with record type A and upto say 5(CHILD CASES AND NEED NOT BE created all at once but onlclick of action)
to a parent case of record type say B & C.
I have another button which has an underlying VF that creates a new case from a parent case and auto pupulates this. Now can i leverage this functionality to the new child case created using the golbal action to populate only some fields?
ie:stEP 1---> PARENT CASE A----RECORD TYPES B& C
sTEP 2------>CREATE A BUTTON TO CREATE A CHILD CASE OF RECORD TYPE SAY d UNDER parent case record type only B&
--THIS MUST SHOW ON THE RELATED LIST OF PARENT CASE A of record type B&---
----> Must be able to autopupulate some fields from parent.
--> (NOTE: tHERE ISCUSTOM vf code and apex class used for another scenario)---
---> HOw can i leverage that as even that is a button?
