LRO is sadly no longer with us, but LRM is, and the new (under-publicised!) Land Rover Life.
I bought my 2008 fatty s/c for too much last year and after fixing some deferred maintenance I'm in too deep so it's staying with me until one of us expires.
Great content @samsmotors the market has changed rapidly in the last few years, it's a buyer's market now and i have a 2007 Tdv8 3.6L L322 119k miles, Grey, for sale now in Swansea at budget price. It's on autotrader and FB too.
Great video, u should do one on the Irish market now aswell and explain all about things like crew cab vehicles and prices here,, im in cork and have have 6 rr over the years, and I currently have a 2012 autobiography with the design pack low mileage and every extra, so love it,, keep up the good work,, Finbarr
A good 4.4 tdv8 will always hold their value if carefully maintained and documented. I recently sold mine for a good price but it was exceptionally well looked after and fully documented on the Full Fat forum over my 6 year ownership 👍
I bought one at the beginning of Feb and paid one of the lowest prices around at the time. It came with a wodge of receipts from the owner who'd spent around £6k on it in the previous 18 months, and had all the essentials done (eg oil cooler). What I didn't know at the time is how rare the colour is (Baltic Blue). As you say, keep a 4.4 tdv8 maintained properly (I've got to do the rear dampers atm) and it'll hold its price a lot better than other specs.
Hi here in Aus the 4.4 TDV8 is rare as for sale …maybe 10 in the whole of Aus. I looked and waited for more than 8 months before one came up and the cost was 49k Aus dollars with 160000 thousand kilometres on the clock..full service history..not an autobiography but I do have the rear recline seats, that was over a year and a half ago…and no rust whatsoever… The Rangies in the UK are much cheaper..but most have rust….Great video as usual😀😀😀
I had initially been looking for an L322, but thought they would be too reliable, so purchased a late 2002 Vogue SE P38! 😂😂😂
Mine (second one Sam talked about in baltic blue) is still available, Rear tail gate was rusty but had all the rust cut out and professionally tig welded a repair in, I sprayed it my self to save costs and has polished up alot better than in the pictures. Genuine reason for sale and would prefer to keep it as i do love it

The nicest L322 I ever saw was in the UAE. It had all possible options buttons everywhere, and the best part was its colour: burgundy inside and out. It even had burgundy leather headlining. I believe it was some anniversary model?) The second best I saw was bronze with mocha-brown leather. My own is a 2005 L322 base Vogue, silver with navy letter cream piping. Keep up the great videos.

Hi Sam , another great video and I have watched all your videos to date. I need your advice please . I have a 2011 TD V8 , 4.4 Vogue SE in Galway Green with beige leather interior, cool seats and deployable side steps. It is in absolutely immaculate condition . Full service history with 120000 on the clock. My question is I have had 2 notes put on the windscreen from different people both asking to buy it with phone numbers left. One said name your price. Whilst it's very flattering I have no intention of selling but interested to know why the interest. I know our late Queen had one in this colour and obviously Clarkson but is there any particular reason. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Clive.
If I part with my 4.4 TDV8 I’ll probably replace it with a late model L405 so I’d love to know whether you’ve plans for an upgrade in that direction.

I was looking forward to you returning to that eBay auction at the end. Didn't it sell, or did you just forget? Otherwise an interesting video and learned quite a bit about the subtle differences between the 'Vogue' and 'Biography' options.
I forgot - it went for £2950 - still a bargain I reckon!

Good picture of the market Sam and as always the cost of running these (esp current ins costs) is what you need to budget for and not the purchase price. Nearly 3 years into mine and not regretted it yet…..
What could be the problem if you get oil pressure light flashing 5 seconds after you start the car? Just changed the oil cooler. Oil filter is original and pressure sensor is replaced.
Tried changing the oil and filter? It may be diluted from excessive failed DPF regens
Yes I changed oil and filter. Still the same. I have googled 4.4tdv8 and there are other people aswell with similar problem but still no solution. I was thinking can this new oil cooler what i put can be the problem because it is not original.
Please do an EU market one, prices I see are at least twice what you have in the UK

My driver's seat back (upper) heat/cooling has failed - I felt a crunch a while back! You said it is a relatively easy fix. Is there a guide you could point me to?
It's probably the ducting that has come apart or broken. I've not done one myself but there are a few guides around, Jordan did a video on it here: ua-cam.com/video/Bqy4EfQMyNo/v-deo.html&ab_channel=RoughRestos

Does the rotary control fail on the L322 as it seems quite common on L405’s and it’s the whole centre console out to remove it ?
I have a question. I recently bought a range rover sport 2010. Got a few issues that am ficlxing but one is the rear view camera randomly stops working that starts again and the other camera dont work. The ones on both right and left side are very murky white.
Hoe do i fix this or change it ?

Great vid as always. I always see the westminster as a special edition but looking with my now trained eyes they are basic spec with a badge, is that why your not keen on them ?
Yeah - they’re usually similar in spec to a regular Vogue.
Westminster is the run-out edition, it is basically a Vogue with heated and cooled seats, Logic7HD and some nice wheels
