What a great video this is, interesting and informative. We will definitely consider Denmark for our 2023 August trip, we don’t want to do another Southern Europe trip in the heat. Thanks guys!! You are fast becoming our favourite UA-camrs 🤗
Thank you for some fine and very enjoyable videos. I'm sure you are doing a good deal of research; but if you are deciding for a Denmark stay next time, consider visiting 1) Bornholm, in spite of the ferry prices; 2) Southern Funen around Svendborg and Faaborg, including the islands connected with bridges from there: Tåsinge (with Troense village & Valdemars Slot castle) and Langeland (Tranekær and a good deal of sights and picturesque locations). Ærø, which has not-cheap ferry connections, is also worth it, IMO. If you go to Stevns again, the Højerup church is different from anything else in Denmark. And Møn has further sights than the cliffs at the Geocenter - Liselund park, Nyord, frescoed churches, dolmens, galleries, wine & gin producers, arts & crafts, further cliff hikes, etc. Btw, in your Rømø video, regarding kite-surfing & water sports, I posted a map showing the protected areas in DK.

I have seen so many of your vlogs, there is so much to see, in Denmark, i have two places for kitesurfing, in Horsens Fjord, there is a dedicated place for it. It works with a good wind from east, at the island, named Alrø, the same thing is at the island named Als. That's an Island where you always can find nature, and sleep over places, and some historic facts about the wars in in pre WW2. 1884 and much more.
Awesome thanks for the Alrø tip 😎 (Andre here) I have tried to build a map of kitespots to overlay onto Google Maps which makes finding potential spots a bit easier. Every now and then we still find an unmarked spot which is always fun to try. You can find my map here (let me know what you think) bit.ly/41bXElm

Hi andre and Lisa. I wrote to you before about your comming visit to Denmark. I will suggest you to consider to go to the north coast of Sjælland to see the the towns and the really nice coastline there. I will also give coffee if you comes by 😊 You can take the Ferry from Helsingborg to Helsingør and also there see Hamlets castle. Good travel ! Br. Thomas
Thank you Thomas! We would love to pop by for coffee but at this point we might have to skip Sjaelland this time as we're still so far south at the moment 🙈 Last year we actually took that ferry from Helsingør to Helsingborg! It's so hot down here we wish we could 'teleport' to Denmark right now! 😜😍
Nic and informative videos 👍. As a native dane it`s super to hear your positive approach to our country. We travel Europe in our camper, but never goes south in summertime because of the heath. In addition to what You point out, the majority of danes speaks english, so its easy to communicate. Up north in Jammerbugten (Nordsee, Blokhus etc) you are allowed to stay at the beach at night. Keep going, stay safe and enjoy 🇩🇰😊
Thanks for watching and your comment! We're definitely heading to Denmark again this summer. Not sure about our route yet though. Would love to drive onto those northern beaches but last time we were too scared of getting stuck 😁

Congratulations to Mark Godby who is the winner of our SIDE-BY-SIDE giveaway!
Loved those tips. I hope the entire van life community takes notice
In retrospect, hopefully we didn't make Denmark too appealing! 😋
@@WeWillNomad those weren't the tips I was referring to tho 😊

Oh wow, thanks so much for your kind comment Michelle, really appreciate it! Who knows, maybe we'll see you in Denmark! 😊
Great views in Denmark, this is a really cool idea for the summer months, my friends 👣 🇫🇮
Thank you! 🤗

Thanks for your comment Joen and for the tips! No amount of research compares to personal tips so appreciate that! 😊
Very interesting info. Great research folks. Thanks.

I see that you are well covered. But again The Island Als did you miss. Sønderborg is worth a visit.
Great video - one to go on the list. I live near Hull so easy to get the ferry straight over to NL 👍
Awe thanks! Now you just have us a great new idea of how to get to the UK...!
We're going to Holland in April, not much further to go to Denmark, you certainly inspire people to broaden their travel ideas
Thank David! 😎 If only the summer was a bit longer... 😋
I've been viewing your channel for a while great videos. Planning to acquire a motorhome and travel Europe this summer with my family see how it goes.
Oh wow, that sounds very exciting! Thank you for commenting and we wish you all the best for both the planning phase as well as your travels!
