For the skintone change you need to use the opposite color on the color wheel. So her skin is pink so you need to use green pastels with MSC make sure your sandpaper the shine off the plastic, that also helps the pastels to adhere better. The opposite color will cancel out the pink and give you an easier pallet to turn the skintone to whatever color you choose. Hope this helps🤗 amazing finished doll she is beautiful.
Oh wow, thank you! This actually makes so much sense! I am definitely going to try it again, in that case! Thank you so much for your feedback and helping me out!♡
To change the skintone, try using Pan Pastels. They have a much better color deposit compared to any other pastels I've used, including that one brand of hand rolled pastels.
Thank you so much for your feedback! I would love to try them! As soon as I get my hands on some PanPastels colours, I will most definitely use them on my next doll!♡
I'm a newbie to this so, I'm constantly amazed at the possibilities. I'm leaning more towards stop motion but have a few monster highs I'm going to be using. One question you may be able to help me with... have you seen anything for DIY 'armatures', simple ones, for eyes that are rotatable? Or other solutions? ty in advance :)
Hi there! Thank you for stopping by! I love stop motion! But sadly, I have no experience with it, nor with making armatures and the like.. I really wish I could help you, but I lack the knowledge in regards of that field.. I really hope that you find what you are looking for and would love to see what you come up with!♡
@@mimi4mochi Thank you for responding Mimi, it's quite sweet. I'll find what I'm looking for ... or figger it out, or DYI it out.. but, there's also the limitations... which I can just use, incorporate into the movement. I won't hide what makes the puppets what they are... that would be like lying, and that I can't condone. Hmmm, guess I've just set a rule... TY !!! :) all my love, and pls be safe, jAne
@@mimi4mochijust came here to say the same thing; your videos are great, your voice is lovely, and your dolls are beautiful. But the music is too loud and too fast. Easy improvement to make. Let your lovely voice and skills be the focus of the videos ❤

And all you need to cover is the joints! You can paint the rest. The pastel method is commonly used to prevent chipping on the joints!

Color changing a doll is easier using Pan Pastels. They are more expensive but super pigmented.
Oh, thank you!♡ Then I will try the pastel method again once I get my hands on some pan pastels!
@mimi4mochi you're welcome, good luck 😊
She reminds me of an albino rabbit 🐇 very cute ❤

Your doll is so beautiful 💗🥰💖
(I'm sorry but I had one problem with your video : the music ! too speed, too loud...it almost produced me a migraine)
Thank you for your feedback!♡ I do not want to cause any headaches to anyone, so I will tone down the beat and use more relaxing music next time!♡
