I'm assuming they couldn't use the original for the game, so they chose someone who sounds similar to Tina, and Nicole did a great job in my opinion. It was a nice surprise when this song started playing for the opening credits.

Steal from many and it's research!" Plus it's cheaper for the game company to rerecord the theme tune than it is to use the original because of licensing rights, royalties and lawyers, all the shit that usually gets in the way of music. And you might not like it, but Nicole comes in at a lot cheaper to hire than Tina Turner does.
From a dancer's perspective, this version is exponentially better to dance the Argentine tango to. The ending is spine-chilling!!! However, I respect the legendary singer who originally sang this.

Well, I recently uploaded videos of this game. The first episode got revenue sharing because it recognized Nicole's version. Another episode got straight up copyright stricken because they thought it was the Tina Turner original. Could be a compliment to Nicole, or just UA-cam's whacked system.
Both this and the movie's version feel like a perfect fit for their respective media The movie version feels a bit more lowkey and fitting for one of the (relatively) more introspective bond movies without losing that distinct "bond theme" vibe while this version is perfect for hyping you up to play through the game's slightly more action-packed story

Tina Turner did this song as she did many countless others with class and depth. This woman from some pop group tried and yes she does have a sound similar to tina (probably only after a lot of recordings of this track and various technology tweeks), but she'll never match up to TT in my book.

It was kinda loud and aggressive version of the song. The problem was that tina's version was more of a racy and sexy tone to it. Without the opening titles, this song kinda felt unfamiliar and even garish.
When I first heard this song, I went pure snob mode. I said to myself, no way she's gonna do Tina justice, why even bother? Then it started and I thought, this is actually really good, however, I was still in defend Tina mode and said, no way shes gonna nail the part where Tina pushed it, then it came and I got chills and goosebumps. Nicole did Tina justice and made it her own all in one. I love this version and consider it one of the best covers ever done. I know Tina was proud. RIP queen.

It's a solid remake but some of you need to get your heads out of your asses. Tina's original > Nicole's remake and it ain't even close.
