Broke down on me while unloading got stuck on the lift gate,found your video soon as I heard get your Allen wrenches take this apart I yelled for a forklift driver to throw it in the truck so I could take it back to the warehouse,no quick fix looking like a 12 hour day for me🤷♂️ 😂😂
Yeah unfortunately, this error code is not a super quick fix :/ you have to replace the potentiometer on the handle.
I have code 854 the jack will not fo up or down. Could this be the pot that was replaced here?
No. Does it drive forward and back before you hit the up button?
Also, does it make a “click click” sound from the contactor before the code appears?
Hello great video i got a questions on these jacks how can you do a speed adjust on these? I have one on the swhiched to fast mode and it still runs slow.
You can’t really change the speed. It’s either turtle mode or rabbit mode. If it’s not switching from slow to fast, either the selector switch is bad or you need a new handle

Thanks. My jack got this code last month, would go forward, but when turning the throttle back, it would jump forward & shut down. Crown fixed it but today did it again. Luckily I was docked & got it back on the truck
Did they replace the potentiometer?

@@theforkliftguy when i got back to yard, it worked perfectly. waiting for crown to come and take a look. all the crown equip weve bought in the last 5 yrs or so has had alot of issues.

@@EduardoHernandez-io5hd yes. Most of the time it’s the 2 cables that come out of the drive motor. They come out of the drive motor and run through the middle where the handle pivots. Sometimes those cables snap or start shorting.
Other times I’ve solved that problem by swapping out the speed sensor on the drive motor.
If that doesn’t work then your drive motor is probably bad.
Whatsup i have wp 3200 that is stuck slow traction. Even switching the hss it stays slow. what are possible parts i should test. Is the override switch on knckle of handle a good place to star.

we get this error constantly on our wp3000. they replaced the POT twice, thinking the 1st was defective. Any other thoughts on why the error still happens? can you calibrate the POT?
You can't calibrate the POT on these models, only on the PE models.
Another common problem is the traction card. It's the long computer board in the handle. The POT connects to it. I would start with that and if it continues, replace access 3 (big grey box controller on the right side of the unit. )
How do you read the codes?
The pallet jack itself will tell you the code. After that, it usually comes with a booklet inside the cover of the pallet jack and it has all the codes on there. If it’s not there, just Google the code and it should come up 👍🏼 hope this helps.

How do you calibrate the travel pot on the WP3000 series ?
You can’t really calibrate the travel POT. If it’s throwing this code, replace it.

I heard you say to center it before install. Does it come already centered or you have to manually center it ?

Thank you for the video, I have the same truck now showing code 857 SAS, I turn the unit on all is fine, once I engage the handle in the up position I hear one click and see this error code, and the truck can not move, thank you
Possible causes of this code is a bad contractor, bad batteries or a damaged wire leading to the handle. Loss of communication. I would check the contractors and the batteries

@@florincheche163 I have one I can sell to you. But you would have to contact crown dealer or another local dealer. I can maybe give you the part number and see if you can find it online. I get my parts through a supplier.
I got a wp that does not stay on. Batteries are good power switch is good jst does not stay on. Any idea why? Thank you.
What do you mean by “does not stay on”.
Like it powers on and then powers off? It doesn’t turn on at all? It does after 30 minutes?
@The Forklift Guy it's throwing a 325 code. It does not power up at all it'll turn on and off instantly
@@theforkliftguy I have a wp 3000 it runs good but as soon as I raise it, it either turns off or it won't move back or forward anymore it'll only raise and lower and it does not show any codes. Any idea why? Thank you.
@@EduardoHernandez-io5hd thats typical signs of a short or super weak batteries. Have you done a load test on the batteries ?
@The Forklift Guy I actually replaced 3 batteries. It has one old one, maybe that could be the one? Would there be anything else I can look at?

No. Code 857 is unrelated to code 853. What symptoms does it have ?
How are the batteries? Do you hear multiple click when you lower the handle?
@@theforkliftguy the battery are old and it does the clicking when we try to engage it.
@@Jowey2010 replace the batteries. What you hear is the main contactor engaging and disengaging because it doesn’t read enough voltage.

Hello. It has to do with Brake switch 1 not matching between both computers (access 1 and 3). Check brake switches under the pedal and make sure you calibrate the brake pedal after.

@@theforkliftguy Is 35.60 the Forklif works well for 20 or 30 minutes it works well then it dials 123 and 322 I already checked voltage and temperature and it's fine I think the panel board or acces 3 are damaged what do you think

I have a Crown WP 3035-45 that stutters and stalls when trying to reverse. Codes 853, 310 and 337. 853 keeps showing. Will POT replacement solve?
