The wipeout the guy takes on the wave that starts at 2:08 is all time. Lands flat, then gets sucked back over.....fuck. Watched it 20 times and it scares me sitting here at my computer.

Continued post from below... cause I'm from NY.. and I'm into bodysurfing, ik completely different, but I got pretty fucked up on a wave and and just threw me and kept me under and I almost drowned. =( (when a hurricane came through I was bodysurfing) and ik NY can't even compare to those waves, but still. Damn. =p
@42ledbelly no look again i think you missed what i saw. look at 2:08 through 2:09 carefully something flies through the video at a high rate of speed it looks like a bug or ufo. it comes from the right side of the screen to the left. if you blink you will miss it. i was just wondering why there would be bugs this far out in the ocean? and if its not a bug then what was it?

Well,u basicaly get 2 feet or less of water bellow 'cause all the rest is sucked up by the wave and the whole ocean is rolling on u and if one eat's it up...well, he ends up either dead,handicapped or plastered against the reef!Good luck!!
@s6u6r6f6 They have "some fucking claim on ocean" because they work their asses off promoting the sport, putting on events, taking riders to the best breaks in the world, and most importantly in this case spending time to put out an incredible video.
Yeahh.. umm.. how do you survive if you bail on that? I saw a previous response saying you die or get handicapped.. but if a real surfer could respond to this and tell me, how the hell do you hold your breath that long?
dam I don't think the surfers knew what they were in for I looked at the wave at the start and thought agh bit small but that thing blew up like crazy. anybody that can surf these has a thumbs up from me
There really is something so sinister about the the wave at 2:10, the way it spits so hard and that fuckin champ is getting chomped up inside there somewhere.....I'll leave that Chopes to the pros :P

Damn I would hate to be that dude who fell. those waves are huge. What flies through the video at 2:08-2:09 really fast. and if its a bug why would it be this far out in the ocean?

So you find the easier way to get Big Roundies. Then, because it's quiet inside the tubes, you get the easy silence-sight. The breathing space. The life. Even in the woods.
