Had the pleasure of meeting Darwyn Cooke at a Montreal Comiccon the year before his passing. Then I only qas familiar with his art style from some covers he had done which I was able to get signed. When New Frontier was released a few years later in collected form, ordered that to read. Wasn't aware of mych of his other works until your vid. Had a chat about Darwyn at last year's Montreal Comiccon with another Canadian artist Michael Cho who's style I found similar to Darwyn's. At least he is still remembered in some cirlces.
I just picked up his work with Tim Sale on Kryptonite, and I have a feeling a lot of my comic dollars are going to be spent on picking up his other work. I didn't realize his career in comics was so short and amazing; definitely can't wait to plunge into more of what this incredible artist had to offer eager page flippers.

I never knew he worked on Batman animated series or Buzz lightyear. Love learning new things. Admittedly haven't read much with Darwin Cooke but I feel I need to now. Batman Ego looks right up my crime alley.😄 Epic vid.😎

You're doing a serious disservice to the research, care, and thought you put into this with the constant sponsor stops. I get it, pay the bills or whatever, but maybe just one at the beginning or the end instead of breaking up what is an otherwise really great video
The channel costs more than it brings in at the moment 🤷♂️ people will always complain about something, so if I changed to one at the beginning and one at the end, someone would moan about that 🤷♂️

Cooke was one of a kind. His work is so good and I wish we had more of it.
New Frontier was my first absolute and it is truly a beautiful book Darwyn Cooke's artwork is amazing.
