FYI on kit Presets. It also saves what Keys are in your Docs Case/Keytool/SICC Case. So if you get a new key for a map, you will need to save it into your preset again or loading the preset will remove the key from your docs case in the secure container.
I think this is kinda awesome, tbh, I plan on making kits that involve keys. I don't need multiple sicc containers now. I can make a loadout for a certain map, name it that, then make weapon/armor kits with that kit and save it. Pretty pog.
Honestly some of these changes are what the game desperately needed for me to come back from burnout, and what the game needed to convince friends to finally get the game. Early wipe hasn't felt this good in years, and I don't think that feeling is going to go away for awhile.
@@blacky8060it does remove the pain effect mostly. It’s just the edges of the screen are a bit blurred, not your entire screen being really blurry. Good change IMO, now you’ve got to weigh your options if you wanna be pre-pained, or see perfectly clear.
Pre medding was always a super sweaty mechanic. Making it a more meaningful choice is good. The old VFX were eye cancer strobes and the new one is thematically relevant instead of eye cancer strobe
In regards to the pain meds causing a blur, if you pop a Vaseline or any other pain med and then go into graphics settings, turn on chrome aberrations, click save and then turn them back off again then the blur disappears. you can pop further meds on top and you will still get no more blur. only work around I've seen so far Works every time for me =] Thanks for the info yet again!
IMO that should be considered cheating. The whole point is to put you at a disadvantage, hope your workaround gets fixed tbh. Pre-pain meta should not exist at all and I am glad they are nerfing it.
You can have 4, 5 & 6 set to both "press" & "release" put splint/hemostat on press - health pack on release. press - uses splint/hemostat press & hold with no broken leg or heavy bleed - scroll for specific limb release for random limb (with lowest hitpoint)
Have used press and release after seeing it in a gigabeef video I think my forst wipe, glad it's transferred into this new selection since I doubt I'll think of it in a fight but always nice to have the option

Keeping up with my scav shenanigans, I've noticed that the AI scavs will run to the nearest hostile if you call for help. Now I'm not sure if they were already agro but they did push a pmc for me, and we got em! Love all the content man keep it up!
The painkiller effect doesn't bother me at all. It's a little blurry, sure, but I can see everything just as well as I could when it was sharpened. I also personally think it's a more realistic visualization of an opioid like morphine.
And the double clicking meds and food! Don’t accidentally use things at character screen like me, I was used to double clicking to inspect 😅 Oh and you can uncheck in the menu if you want to turn it off.

For tip 2...I've noticed it does a similar thing with traders where it doesn't update their inventory, after getting to next trader level, or completing a quest that earns a barter with a trader. but after a restart, raid, or scav. it seems to fix things upon return.
Great video :) When I started playing, turning reflex off did help quite a bit. I'm not sure after which technical update/patch but now it doesn't effect frames like it did before, at least for me.

I wish the Nvidia low latency would increase my frames to atleast 60. I normally play on 30-45fps on woods customs interchange. Streets has been a 20 fps hell But I'll get those quests done eventually.
The loadout preset thing really needs to add a list of the different sections of your gear (rig, armor, gun, pouch, etc) that you can check or uncheck to have it change when you use a loadout preset. I was one of the people begging for bsg to add this feature because i desperately wanted them to add ways to speed up getting into raid, but with the current implementation, i dont even use it because i cant filter out what changes in a preset, and manually having to go and change each thing for each map for each gun i want to use, change my pouch setup and so on is so tedious that i dont even try to do it. On top of that, for some stupid ass reason, these presets like to try buying EVERY gun part as well as the already assembled base gun, like the default barrel, stock, gas block, iron sights, everything. Ive already seen a few cases where i go to buy a preset and the default gun parts are listed at like 200k or more because people are trying to abuse the fact that people are using the presets to save time, so they arent watching the prices of these things closely. Sorry, but when i buy a gun bsg, i dont want to buy a spare set of default gun parts with my gun. Whoever designed the loadout preset feature made bsg look more amateurish if you ask me, and obviously thats not a great thing.
The "quiet" command is actually called "silence" ingame. And using quickswap to pistol as standard, in the wrong situation where you need to jump over a ledge for example to avoid taking fire.. It would consume your stam and the end result could be a big fookup. Id rather leave it at double tap 1...
I've run into more people doing leg meta on random maps since the PK change. Which kinda makes me wanna stay PK'd, but PKs hurt my eyes. Everything is pain
Not sure if it's a change for this wipe, but i found out, that if you have extra ammo in the safe container, that you use of during the raid. When out of raid, you can right click the ammo, and you'll get a "top up" option, to top up the ammo stack. Very nice i think.
The presets are useless until you're level 42/Have everything unlocked, same as the weapon presets. Hunt: Showdown has a significantly better preset system that Tarkov could use parts of. Like allow us to select each part we want to save and such. Unfortunately the gunrack requires illumination 3 which puts it into the not worth the cost category of the hideout.
The new effect from painmeds is a thousand times better than the sharpening effect, also less people will premed because the downsides outweigh the upside to it unless youre injured, which is great!
New pain effect is not better, if BSG wants people not to premed, they should change the PK system so hit has a delay after a firefight for pain rather than make even worse to see things.
I still think it's worth to pre med when crossing large open areas. I.e. Kilmov street or common sniper sight lines. But yeah, running around with the PK effect on all the time would be pretty annoying

Anyone knows how to address the issue when your in raid and pressing ESC to get into menu freezes the game and your ping instantly jumps to 500+ and it disconnects you ?
Any one else has this problem when game don’t register your shoot button ? Many times in fight my gun just stops shooting and its not jam or anything I have to click many times to shoot. I tried with different mouse its same
Is it me or did hitting "Main menu" after a scav raid used to give you a second chance to transfer loot and now it doesnt? I've had a few times this wipe where I hit main menu on accident or maybe since I was used to doing it and I just lose everything that raid.
Idk if you can tell bsg. The quest *hot delivery* is bugged. Planted 1 helmet off a player. The next raid I brought one in and planted. Armors and comtacs were already done. In raid quest has completed status. Out if raid I have 1/2 helmets. Cannot plant another due to inraid status of *completed* and cannot turn quest in obviously. Tried clearing cache. Nothing
Another streamer test "auto sell" at Fence. Make sure You take Out weapons, ammo, and things that Fence dont buy (wallet, key holders, etc). When You do that, issue should disappear.

If you Ctrl + Click weapons into the weapon rack they don't need to be fully built; you can put stuff in there without a pistol grip, for example

Not all of the scope rings add height - it seems to be the ones that have mounts for red-dot sights on them that do.
I wish they made the drop down thingy for weapon mods, for when I have a mod buried deep, if I could just use a drop down would be cool imo

You can take the pistol grips off and control click the guns into the weapon rack. Not intended but quite useful

One thing Gigabeef did for the quick dwap was to have it on 1 by default and have another key bind so you can have a non stamina hit option
Or just turn it around make doubleclick for slow pull out and single for quick
