I think these are pretty sick, but I just think it's going to be tough to justify some of these more expensive options soon. In the past, you kinda had to spring for the the guns in this price range, or stick with any of the other competition offerings.

How old is orcale arms as a company? I feel like all these little guys are popping up everywhere with these Frankenstein guns.
They debuted the 2311 last shot so they were probably in design 1-2 years prior
The Oracle full-size choked a lot in reviews. I wanted to like it, but I don’t trust it.
I’ve got 300ish through my commander sized OA. Pretty solid handgun. No malfunctions so far. My only complaint is that the safety lever is SHARP. Really uncomfortable to shoot with my thumb riding the lever
I’m done with Orical, been waiting on the 5” full size pro for 3 years.
I need a million dollars so I can buy a gun safe and fill it with all of these wonderful firearm offerings. That being said, I think the 2311 has promise. I think it's more of an open beta test when it first drops though like most guns.
Great stuff. If there is any double stack, hammer fire 10mm or .45acp 2011 style pistols there could you please share some info. I already know about cosaint. Looking for other options
American Tactical FXH 1911 Double stack, not a 2011 exactly.. But at the price point, it beats out pretty much every double stack 10mm.. Except maybe the new Taurus TH10.

Waited over 8 months after 2023 Shot show to get the 5’ version and what a disappointment. My Prodigy, 500 cheaper shoots 100% better. The trigger is mushy compared with other 1911’s, there is some slide play (interesting, just like a lot of Sigs, and the barrel lock up is ok, but not perfect. Other than taking Sig mags, (which is not an issue for me as I have plenty Stacatto and Atlas mags) there is absolutely nothing this pistol has to offer over whats already out there. I have several Stacattos, Prodigys and even a Platypus, which shoots much better and is much better made than this thing. Perhaps if they were first to market 10 years ago, may have had something worthy. But they are way too little, way too late, way too expensive for what you get.
There is a lot of stuff it does I don’t think you are giving them credit for - I don’t find the prodigy to shoot markedly better personally - I get less muzzle climb and dip on slide close - the trigger on mine is crisp 4.5# which is arguably too much. Ambi slide stop means righties can drop slides on emergency reloads with trigger fingers. The tapered front of the slide makes it easier to manipulate. Magwell handles like a bigger magwell- thumb rests built in - optics plates included - it’s not a 2011 but I do find it substantiates the price point decently.
They just came out with thier first gun and now they want to inroduce a compact? They haven't even worked out the bugs for the oracle.
