Just drove myself without a fully licensed driver with me for the first time. It worries me how calm I was, but I was always careful, and it's good to be a confident driver.
Indicators must be broken on a lot of cars round where I live. I've never came across as many drivers out there with no manners in my life. The other week, I was approaching traffic lights which were red. I was slowing down, there was a guy speeding in the middle lane to my right & I said to my son who was with me 'that guys going to go through a red light'. But what did he do instead at the last minute? Cut in in front of me at the traffic lights, while they were on red. Now if that had been a few seconds earlier there would have been an unavoidable collision. My daughter who was in the back of my car said 'mum what is up with the way that person is driving?' I said who knows? What an idiot. I wasn't impressed...so now I'm going to invest in a dash cam...
+Claire McNabb unfortunately you will come across drivers who do silly and dangerous driving for different reasons. A dash cam is a good investment. Check out my video called setting up my first dash cam.
Once you get your own car just try driving a short trip to the shop and back. It it simple to places and areas that you know. It will feel less of a stress. Good luck and thanks for watching. Congratulations on passing
Passed my test , got my new car nd driving on my own was a bit scary , encountered lots of people driving so close to me inspite of me doing 30 , made me feel a bit intimidated but I'm not bothered now . Thanks for this video made me feel better .
Hello there. Recently I am feeling pressured by other road users because I stick to the speed limit. People beep at me or flash the headlights, and there’s always a long queue behind me. What to do?
Hi, at this time of year on the run up to Christmas you will find lots more drivers on the roads than 8 weeks ago, trying to speed around and take silly risks. If you are driving at the speed limit then you are ok. You will find come January it tends to quiet back down. Don’t feel you need to break the speed limit. Safe driving
Lol I’m in the same position now. I passed 2 days ago and I went out with my dad for about 20 mins just to drop something off and I instantly noticed some people are a lot more impatient when you don’t have L plates on the back of your car
Your first tip there - get used to the clutch rings very true with me. I bought a car after I had passed my test, picked it up and drove to pick up my other half from work. Stalled 7 times at traffic lights in rush hour due to it having a slightly different biting point to the car I learned in. I started to panic too which didn't help! It left me very embarrassed and shaken. I had P plates on so I think this made people a bit more patient than they otherwise would have been, so would defo recommend getting some of them!
9 months late but i'm so glad i've just read your comment. I picked my car up today, passed my driving test last week! Learnt with a diesel and now have a small petrol car. The clutch and setting off, especially uphill, had me stalling and threw me into a panic! I felt like i just couldn't do it but now that i have seen this video and read your comment, i'm feeling a little better haha. Thank you!
rockchick820 aw this is absolutely great both your comments have made me feel better ! I learnt in a diesel passed & now I have a petrol car, I started driving yesterday and i stalled so many times was so embarrassed haha
Congratulations Donna. Love the never give up. It will feel strange driving alone, but after a while it becomes the norm. The first few times keep it short journeys and places you know. Then as you feel more confident, branch out further. Safe driving
I passed mine on September 2021 so a few months ago and I still have not drove alone and I’m about to get my first car and I’m so scared to drive alone 😭
Your so easy to listen too . I had a terrible time with driving instructors . So used your videos to self educate myself . They really helped me and after 18 months of lessons I booked my test and passed first time .. but now I am also to scared to drive alone xx
Happy the videos helped you. Don’t put yourself under pressure. If you feel uneasy being alone driving, then don’t drive on your own. Drive with a friend or even contact an instructor for a lesson. Hope this advice helps. Safe driving
Thank you for the reply and I will take your advice on as to not put to much pressure on myself . I just can’t help but feel odd for not wanted to go and do it for myself when my car is sat there waiting for me and everyone else seem to get on just fine 😕
Only passed my test a few days ago and I picked up my car yesterday, drove a 25 minute journey home by myself. As soon as I left I was faced with a few roundabouts, then straight onto a slip road onto the dual carriageway! At first it was scary but once you start going you feel a lot calmer and you gain confidence. I think the sooner you make yourself go out onto the road by yourself the better. I was dreading this journey but was glad I did it. Also I was in a car I wasn't used to and it was petrol unlike my instructors car. 😂 Thanks for the advice, great video!
Driving on my own was scary for me too James! I remember driving back from college once and the car in front of me braked and stopped in the middle of the main road, halting the traffic flow. His friend halted the traffic on his side of the road. Just to have a conversation!
Is there a chance you can do a street parking video? I live on a uneven road and is on a slight hill so I find it hard to park in a space. It seems to take me loads of turns to get in. Then when I think I’m in , I get out and I’m away from kerb
here in nz we have 3 stages for licence 1.Learner licence- can't drive alone 2. Restricted licence- Can drive alone ( with people that know you lol 3. Full licence -you can have anyone in the car
Great video! I passed my test on Friday and have been out twice wirh my parents for short trips in my car, a Vectra (a lot bigger than the 5 instructors cars I've driven!) My parents are really pleased with my driving and I feel confident with them in the car. However, I've just gone out on my own for the first time and it was horrendous. I stalled turning right onto a dual carriageway, my road positioning was a little off at times and I accidentally put main beam on indicating at a roundabout. I found myself parked up crying and shaking!! What is your advice? Thanks!
I was quite excited when I drove my new car for the first time. My dad dropped me off and I drove away in it after finishing the paperwork. I wasn't nervous at all. I think after 5 tests and a year of learning to drive I knew that I was confident to drive on my own. I still have moments where I do forget things or I mess up and I hold my hands up to them. I had P plates on my car and people still treated me like they do a learner driver. Getting right on my bumper and cutting me up. Like they do now. I wouldn't change driving so save my life even a year later. In a few years time I want to train to be an instructor. I've said this ever since I was learning and my instructor even said that he would train me to become an instructor
Learn-to-drive Travis thanks. It would be brilliant if I could. I would be able to take my experience of failing my test many times and getting so close but one little mistake cost me. I knew a lot of my theory when I was learning. My instructor once told me I knew more theory than some PDIs he was training. Don't know how true that one is but I made sure I was getting a high score in my theory mock tests. When I got to 10 100% in a row I knew I had to put in for it
I still get strong nerves driving on my own but hopefully it will subside as I get more experience. At the moment I just stick to familiar routes I used during my lessons lol.
@@starlouise397 I'm definitely more confident and have driven more on my own but only on familiar routes. I may need some specialized driving therapy as my driving anxiety still exists when I think about going on unfamiliar routes.
Love your vdos and have been watching and recommending them, since I started taking driving lessons in the beginning of this year. I passed my driving in the last week of June. Having no idea about cars,I had to change my first car due to having a problem in spark plug. Then went for the better one. Went on driving with my husband who doesn't drive but was an awesome critique to shake my nerves on motorway. Recommended me to take lessons again as my car stalled numbers of time 🤧. I stayed confident and thought to go for lessons as I've got young kids and didn't wanna take risk. I learnt to drive just for them as their school is 4 miles away from where we live. Anyway! My instructor came the following day. She was shocked to find out that, I needed lessons as none of her learner did so in the past. After test drive on my car, Which I requested her to do, she declared that fault is nowhere in my driving but it's my car again 😓. The speedometer sensor cable needed to be changed and there's possibility to have a bit of issue with gear box too. I'm going in to too much detail just to give everyone confidence out there who's just passed. Don't take stress from others and try to stay confident. I'm learning quite a lot through my experience though🤗. Waiting for the happy ending now 😀
I passed my test a few months ago and only got insurance today due to ill health and I feel so out of practice as I haven’t ever drove on my own and I haven’t drove in months !! I’m so scared that I’m going to stall at every junction and fail terribly
People braking in front of you is the ultimate piece of information when forward planning. We like to call them 'spotters' in advanced driver training. Braking can tell you a lot about upcoming hazards and if a car will stop without signalling. What you learn when you drive alone is nobody drives to what you are taught and you need to build up perception on roundabouts where nobody is signalling or when driving on the road many drivers do things wrong. It is annoying, but it is a skill you build up over time. Good tips are Remember never to overtake when approaching any form of junction, do shoulder checks in merge and turn or joining faster roads and be careful of your speed when approaching reduced limit points.
Aren't P plates useful?? They could be! I've done 10 hours driving so far and my driving teacher has said I'd be nearly ready for my test! I've done driving with parents too!
Good luck and take your time getting used to the car. This is a playlist aimed at new drivers Newly qualified drivers 2022 ua-cam.com/play/PLhk312x91yiiPYX9xw5neusxhJdJbC-oL.html Safe driving
I passed my driving test yesterday with 4 minor faults, Yay!! I just wanted to say a huge thank you for making your videos, they helped me emensly in achieving my pass. When I would have a bad driving lesson day, despite my excellent driving instructor ( I was a passenger in a serious RTA, so put off learning to drive for some time, and was quite nervous ) spiral roundabouts were my nemesis : ) I would come home and watch your videos, calm down, build on my knowledge and just get "back on that horse”, so Thank you. Your comments in the above video are on the nail. I learnt to drive in a Diesel 1.5 Ford Fiesta, but have bought a petrol 1.2 Fiat 500, and for the first 15 mins it was like learning to drive again….but after that, it was all good again, so great advice as always.
I passed my test on Fri 5th October, it was my third crack at the test since the back end of July. The most amazing part is that my theory pass was due to run out on Sat 6th October, so if I hadn't passed the day before, i'd have been right back to square one with having to do my theory again. Thankfully that wasn't necessary, and I obviously drove confidently and competently enough to impress the examiner to pass me :-D I did however have 3 speed marks on my results sheet, the examiner did say to me that if i'd had one more i'd have failed, and this has made me want to be even more wary of not going over the speed limit, which was a bit of a weakness of mine all through my lessons this year. Also, the first test I had that I failed back at the end of July, I failed it due to a speed issue, I was going into a 30mph zone from a 40mph and just didn't see the sign...instant failure! There was then another issue where I didn't see a 20mph sign in a side road....since then it has made me more wary of all the road signs, and just being aware of everything around me. As for driving on my own, i'm lucky enough to be able to drive my Dad's old car, a 20 plus years old Nissan Micra, and all last week I was driving to work and back on my own which felt great, but I must admit I was a little nervous before setting out on the Monday for the first time...but i'm fine now :) Little journeys is the key definitely, getting yourself used to the roads and just being on your own. I haven't yet driven on the motorway, and I admit I find that a little daunting, but I will probably get a family member to help me with that, just to get used to it. These videos are certainly most helpful, and you explain things easily, and help to put people at ease...thank you :)
top man!! passed 1st time this morning in manchester! Thank you very very much mate. your videos are brilliant. Calmed my nerves the day before my test too. my advice for anybody on the test day is to not think too much about it!! take your time approaching roundabouts, junctions and give ways. SLOW DOWN and DROP GEAR when passing cars in narrow streets and BREATH.
Hi Travis... thank you so much to all your video here on UA-cam and all your advice... I just passed my driving test three days ago... thank you so much... still watching your video... 🤗🤗🤗😊😊😊
Watched all your videos and passed first time - thanks for your help! Off now on my own in my new car (well old!) glad this video was there :) Thank you!
One thing I wanted to say is . U should do more videos for those of us who have just passed our test with tips and hints for driving alone. After passing I was looking for more info on pass plus and new things to learn u don’t learn on a driving lesson
This video is great, I’ve just passed my test a couple of days ago and a bit nervous going out big distances especially with my little girl but no husband sat next me like he usually is. We can do this, got to start somewhere.
Passed on the 19th of November and got my first car today (5th of December) and now I hate driving, have constant anxiety and just don't want to drive anymore. My instructor told me to move off with just the clutch then apply throttle if I do that in my car I stall!! so it's like learning all over again, I hate it, completely knocked my confidence
I spent 5 weeks learning to drive and passed at the first attempt about two weeks ago and tomorrow I'm going to drive alone to work, across the whole city, for the first time in an unfamiliar car!!!!....NOOOOOOO.....!!!
@@martyna402 Scared like hell. It was such a pain going at rush hour through the city center and not knowing where to turn. Stalled a few times. And most important, I forgot to stick my P plate!! Tomorrow will be a better day.
I past my driving test in beginning of February i got car end of April. I am really nervous driving on my own problem with me don't have confidence. What do i do to build up my confidence
Just passed my test today and looking for a car ............ i just want to say thank you for the fantastic video's that you uploaded to your Channel...👏👏👏👏
Learn-to-drive Travis, thank you for all your videos. They helped me a great deal when I was learning especially as I couldn't practise between lessons. Your calm attitude made me feel I can do this! I passed a few weeks ago, but feel very nervous about driving. Where I am it's very rural, and to get onto the main road I have to drive up a windy long road which feels about a metre wide with small ditches on either side and blind bends every few metres. Sometimes people don't mind driving at speed around these blind bends. Coming across a tractor where there is no layby for me to reverse expertly into is very difficult for a new driver. I do feel in the deep end with this, but determined not to let it beat me. It's scary though. :-)
+truth owl thanks for your comment. Keep to your standard of driving and be careful on them long and narrow country roads. Every so often just access your driving and you will realise that you are getting used to your area and the difficulty of driving around and parking there. Safe driving
I drove first time on my own today to work with no passengers, was very nervous, don’t like not having someone sitting next to me, but hoping this won’t be a long thing and I get over it pretty quick 😬
Learn-to-drive Travis I had the radio on i think I was just overthinking everything whilst i was driving! Feel like everyone’s watching me when theyre not, get really nervous about parking too !

Driving alone for the first time tomorrow! Apart from test driving a car 2 days ago, I haven't drove since I passed my test 3 weeks ago. I'll be driving back from the dealership with my dad, but then I'm on my own travelling from his to mine! What's helped me is going on to Google maps and dropping the little orange guy down so you can have a POV of the route. I've memorised the whole 30 mins way back 😂
I passed my test two days ago with only one minor :) honestly, the test is no way near as bad as people make it out to be sometimes, the time just flew by and before I knew it we were on the way back to the test centre
Good advice when I fist passed was hard to get used to my Wife's car and where lights were wipers etc. I have been passed 9 months and not been on motorway yet. Waiting for my Dad to sit next to me before I do that.
I went to a speed awareness course. They mentioned that the clocks on your car are not real speed if your doing 32/33 your normally doing 30mph. Don’t know if it’s true.
Just drove home first time by self, also a in new car to me, as I just bought and collected it. Had a hard time because I'm not used to that clutch and couldn't find the biting point well. Stalled at a light and had people continuously beeping behind me. Jeez. Was a bad day. Will drill it and get it right though. Straight back on the horse.
Good advice - I've been driving for three months now. Can't drive on my own as my husband has to be in our Motability car and f things have changed a lot since he drove. I stick out as a new driver because I indicate! Clutch control was one of the most useful things I learned : there's a lot of queuing and suicidal cyclists where we live. Please keep up the post-test videos - they're very helpful. Also if I go even a couple of days without driving I get "rusty"
@@JamesTravisBeen a good day. It really is true what they say "You never forget how to drive". Did about 60 miles today most of which were on my own with no real issues :)
Ok i need help ... who has right of way when 2 lane road turns into one lane and traffic have to merge in that one lane ??? Do i give way to the right ? Or just filter in when safe to do so an what if no one lets me filter into the traffic???
About to drive my parents car for the first time on my own who have said “my driving is very smooth”. Also did a refresher lesson with my instructor in my parents car who said I’ll be fine. I’m parked up watching UA-cam
Passed my test last month and got my car a few days ago.. driving home alone was so scary! Feel like I'm getting there getting used to the clutch etc. Then had someone beep at me and overtake me today. Made me feel scared.
A service covers numerous checks and oil change, air filter change, usually what the manufacturer recommends at least once a year. A health check sounds similar, I could be wrong. A lot would depend on the company offering it.
Ok so i passed 3 weeks tomorrow and i still get quite nervous would it be sensible to wait till im confident to venture out further ? I feel if im going to be too nervous i will make lots of mistakes obviously do not want to crash or cause any accidents ... so nerve wracking driving on your own ! Especially when theres so many idiot drivers about ... 4 days on a trot ive heard about hit and runs and car crashes makes me even more nervous especially as i have my little girl in the car with me x
I would try and get out every day. Just drive around the area where you live and the roads that you know. Keep the driving simple and stick to 15 to 20 minutes of driving. Try not to think about the idiot drivers out on the roads, its the same in every country. Good luck
Thankyou for replying i get out everyday by going to work and i am feeling more confident as each day goes by friday im having to venture out further to see a family member i just know what im like soon as i get nervous i get flustered and start making lots of mistakes 😂 sure all will be fine ! Your videos have helped alot so thankyou
I did coventry ring road today headed out further made few mistakes on way to my destination but not dangerous ones thankgod just taking wrong turn when should of been the next but on way home i smashed it so proud of myself!!! X
I want to thank you for all of your videos because they really helped me when I was learning to drive last month. I passed first time at the beginning of November only 1 minor after 20hrs of lessons. Your videos are probably the best on UA-cam, no doubt!
Hi travis I really need your help, my test is next week and on my lessons I keep switching off and losing concentration, please can you give me any tips? Thanks in advance
Adam is right. But try to focus on keeping yourself doing something. If you are driving along, use a routine of; Check up road Check mirrors Check speed If you find a quiet patch on your driving use all 3. Good luck on test
Well went for my test yesterday failed 😕 I took wrong turning and lane at roundabout, examiner said to my instructor I have nofault with her driving at all I feel such a fool 😕 I was very nervous
Angela Wardlaw I passed with 1 minor and that was first time like I was driving for 2 years because I wasn't really confident at that time but now I have a Golf Se nav and I am doing really good. I hope you would do super amazing and beat my score

@@starlouise397 I'm definitely more confident and have driven more on my own but only on familiar routes. I may need some specialized driving therapy as my driving anxiety still exists when I think about going on unfamiliar routes.
Passed first time with 1 minor haha. You helped me thanks
Excellent
I just passed my driving test it was my 4th and im so glad i eventually got it !
Got there, congrats
@@JamesTravis Thank you ! your videos helpled me alot !!
Good luck with the driving.
+Thomas Goodwin yes P plates can help. Sounds like your driving is on track. Keep up the progress.
Collecting my car on Saturday and I’m nervous 😅
Good luck and take your time getting used to the car. This is a playlist aimed at new drivers Newly qualified drivers 2022

Safe driving
Congratulations. I always like reading the story behind the pass. Well done and safe driving
Looking forward to passing my driving test by driving safely
passed last friday 25th couldnt wait to get out once insurance sorted went for a two hour drive and got lost lol
+Stuart Brown that's part of the fun of driving. Trying to find your way. 😄
Great result. Well done and safe driving
Hi Travis... thank you so much to all your video here on UA-cam and all your advice... I just passed my driving test three days ago... thank you so much... still watching your video... 🤗🤗🤗😊😊😊
+Mary Grace Keogh congratulations on passing your driving test. Thank you for watching and be safe on the roads.
Thanks so much for the advice 👍👍👍

+bekahmeup congratulations on passing. Happy the videos are helping. Feel free to recommend my channel. Safe driving
Hi Travis...just passed today with 3 minor..thank you for your all the videos that help me a lot..I still watch your videos 🙄
+Mostafa Kamal congratulations on passing. Thank you for watching
One thing I wanted to say is . U should do more videos for those of us who have just passed our test with tips and hints for driving alone.
After passing I was looking for more info on pass plus and new things to learn u don’t learn on a driving lesson
Looking at videos to do
I’m driving to school tomorrow for the first time I live 30 mins away
Give yourself an extra 10 minutes, then you won’t be rushing. Enjoy the drive
This video is great, I’ve just passed my test a couple of days ago and a bit nervous going out big distances especially with my little girl but no husband sat next me like he usually is. We can do this, got to start somewhere.
Safe driving
Dude these car videos are coming in my recommended after i crashed my car while parking
Try watching this video, it should help.

By the way thankyou so much for the video. I really enjoyed it 😊
+Claire McNabb great
I spent 5 weeks learning to drive and passed at the first attempt about two weeks ago and tomorrow I'm going to drive alone to work, across the whole city, for the first time in an unfamiliar car!!!!....NOOOOOOO.....!!!
Good luck and be safe
@@JamesTravis thank you Sir
@@jgsky how was it :)?
@@martyna402 Scared like hell. It was such a pain going at rush hour through the city center and not knowing where to turn. Stalled a few times. And most important, I forgot to stick my P plate!! Tomorrow will be a better day.
I past my driving test in beginning of February i got car end of April. I am really nervous driving on my own problem with me don't have confidence. What do i do to build up my confidence
Short drives out of rush hour to places that you know.
If things don’t improve over time, an hour refresher lesson with your instructor will help.
Learn-to-drive Travis
Thank you for the advice i really appreciate it
i REALLY THINK YOU HAVE HELPED MY FRIEND,PASSED TODAY IN N IRELAND :)
+geoff toner that’s a lovely comment. Hope they have lots of safe and happy driving.

Got my test on monday. Hope i pass been watching your videos for a while very helpful😊
Thank you for watching and good luck on the day
I really needed a video on this, passed my test last week. thank you sir.
+shining star good
Learn-to-drive Travis, thank you for all your videos.
+Learn-to-drive Travis A big thank you
I drove first time on my own today to work with no passengers, was very nervous, don’t like not having someone sitting next to me, but hoping this won’t be a long thing and I get over it pretty quick 😬
Try and a radio on low in background
Learn-to-drive Travis I had the radio on i think I was just overthinking everything whilst i was driving! Feel like everyone’s watching me when theyre not, get really nervous about parking too !

I passed last Thursday first time with 2 minor. Today I went out on my own for the first time. Nerv racking..
Just passed my test, thanks very much your videos help me so much.
Congratulations on passing. Thank you for watching
I've memorised the whole 30 mins way back 😂
Good luck and stay focused
@@JamesTravis it went great! Drove in silence to stay focused lol
I passed my test two days ago with only one minor :) honestly, the test is no way near as bad as people make it out to be sometimes, the time just flew by and before I knew it we were on the way back to the test centre
Hi I’m a learner driver and I love watching your videos they really help me build confidence in myself and my driving! :)
Happy they are helping. Good luck with the rest of your lessons.
Passed today first time :D about to drive on my own for the first time in a bit wish me luck ! :)
+Emily-Jayne Abrahart congratulations on passing and good luck
Thank you for helping me learn how to be a better driver
Happy to help.
Good advice when I fist passed was hard to get used to my Wife's car and where lights were wipers etc. I have been passed 9 months and not been on motorway yet. Waiting for my Dad to sit next to me before I do that.
+Joolz1982 good luck on the motorway
Thanks I have done heaps of Dual carriage ways so they are good prep. keep up the great vids.
Am i right in thinking that speed cameras and police let you off up to 32 on a 30?
That used to be the norm. But I keep hearing that the local councils are informing the Police to cut the level of tolerance.
it used to be 10% plus 2mph. Now it's something like 3mph over before your risking it
Learn-to-drive Travis not that i'm planning on speeding just wasn't sure what the tolerance was :)
Yes get back on that horse. Congratulations on getting your 🚗
@@JamesTravis Thanks mate. Today was a lot easier
Passed my driving test last Saturday. 2nd attempt. So happy. Totally worth all the effort.
Congratulations 🎉
@@JamesTravis your videos have been really helpful
I passed my test last month and still afraid to drive alone😝
Trying driving in quiet times and to the local shops. Drive in areas that you know. Hope that helps
+Jacquelene Rhodes thanks for comment. Driving gets easier the longer you do it.
+Jacquelene your hubby doesn't necessarily have to be in the car. Check. x
HELLO EVERYONE I THINK MAY I GVING THIS ON THIS FRIEND ON DRIVING TEST

Going to collect my first car in about 2 hours. I've not driven in 4 years since I passed.
Take a bit of time at first to get use to the controls.
@@JamesTravisBeen a good day. It really is true what they say "You never forget how to drive". Did about 60 miles today most of which were on my own with no real issues :)
@@Brewer_ that’s great to hear. Safe driving
Ok i need help ... who has right of way when 2 lane road turns into one lane and traffic have to merge in that one lane ??? Do i give way to the right ? Or just filter in when safe to do so an what if no one lets me filter into the traffic???
Cheers. Very helpful advice
Great video. Thank you.
About to drive my parents car for the first time on my own who have said “my driving is very smooth”. Also did a refresher lesson with my instructor in my parents car who said I’ll be fine.
I’m parked up watching UA-cam
Excellent. Safe driving
still scared with my instructor...must be worst on my own
+Jac Hodgson I am sure that when you are ready for your test the feeling of being scared would of stopped.
Learn-to-drive Travis thanks
Passed my test last month and got my car a few days ago.. driving home alone was so scary! Feel like I'm getting there getting used to the clutch etc. Then had someone beep at me and overtake me today. Made me feel scared.
Ignore them. They are just impatient
Yeah no need to rush
That is helpful just stay as a great driver on road
Passed my test and driving test and buying the car today, I'll be driving by myself from tomorrow, the nerves are there but this video helps
Good luck and keep the driving simple and safe
audio volume is very low, difficult to listen
what's the difference between servicing a car and doing a health check?
A service covers numerous checks and oil change, air filter change, usually what the manufacturer recommends at least once a year.
A health check sounds similar, I could be wrong. A lot would depend on the company offering it.
Thanks Travis!
Tagga L22 xD
Question for you! Ive heard that instructors only pass people based on being only allowed to pass a certain amount of people weekly. Is that true?
+Thomas Goodwin I would say it is not true.
Thanks Travis!
Just keep doing what you are going.
+Milan Maru congratulations on passing and thank you for your kind comment
Hi travis I really need your help, my test is next week and on my lessons I keep switching off and losing concentration, please can you give me any tips? Thanks in advance
Charlie i'd recommend doing some concentration practices whether it's a thing that works idk
Charlie think how much it costs each time. Try the best you can and get your money's worth!
Adam is right. But try to focus on keeping yourself doing something. If you are driving along, use a routine of;
Check up road
Check mirrors
Check speed
If you find a quiet patch on your driving use all 3.
Good luck on test
Thanks everyone
Narrate to yourself what's happening up ahead and behind and even to the sides. An inner monologue if you will, I still find myself doing it now.
Hi james .i Just passed my driving test yesterday I was watching your videos everyday thanks
