Great video Richard, crops will soon perk up with a bit of manganese and some nitrogen, but spread it wisely, great to see the shed started. That a keep phil and olly busy.
No I think your opinion is just right in my humble opinion. There is few places farmers can make savings and machinery is one of those. I think the secret is having the right machinery that is capable of delivering what you require and a wee bit of surface rust and dent or two counts for nothing in the scale of things. I think I would definitely go your route and also I have farmed pigs outside and when that rain comes it becomes a daily toil with overalls and waterproofs constantly being dried out all the time.
I remember my fathers friend who did the spraying on the estate in the 1970s his hands was in a terrible state. They were discoloured, hacks, not much health & safety in them days 🤔 as usual good informative video 👍
New tractors depreciate, reliable older ones will appreciate in less time so long as they're looked after and you're happy using them. Buildings up the value of the farm. Totally agree. Not surprised you jacked in out door pigs! What a mess! Would outdoor pigs have been worth a premium for being outside?
Think it will take us to over 1500 , we will let you know when she’d is finished and full. Not really a problem moving pigs it’s run pretty much as normal for us to be fair👍

No amount of money would have put a smile on ya face when rain was blowing sideways and pigs where swimming around in wet bedding 😩👍

I take that as a yes but I agree no fun when pissing it down and I'm sure the premium wasn't that much more.
Summer was a good number , winter , heart breaking, good cheque every 10 weeks though, worth it ,not sure cheers Richard

Is it possible to only do out door in the summer months? Indoor for the winter months?
Great video & you just put your point/ opinion across
👍👍👍
Keep going mate, we are farmers we talk crap half the time , the rest of the time we have opinions that only the dog bothers to listen to
Is there anything you lads dont do?!😂
What way do you bolt your wall panel to stantion,
Panels have threaded holes in , which you fasten a plate to which fastens to your station
Can’t offended by some one having an a opinion what suits one person doesn’t always suit another 👍 🇮🇲
👍👍👍
How many pigs will you rear when the new sheds done. Have you had any issues with pigs leaving for processing.
