I like the 1500A better balance in the tremble range. Nice round full tone. The 1400 maybe could be improved with Eva Pirazzi strings and or goat parchment on treble side of bridge. Or soundpost move slightly.(opinion only) both violins better than average.are both solid wood and ebony throughout?If I were in the market I would seriously consider 1500A. I liked the fullness and assume tone will get even better with age. Would like to have had Meditation played on both instruments for comparison otherwise excellant review. My sincere thanks!😅
