RHEUMA DAY 2024 // The Start of a Hybrid Meeting // Kay G. Hermann Opening the Meeting

We held RHEUMA DAY 2024 on March 22.
The event had a hybrid concept. While 40 participants were on site in Berlin, another 100 people were connected remotely via the BerlinCaseViewer platform. Although the majority of bookings came from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, we held the meeting in English for the benefit of our international guests. Lots of challenges!

➡️ In a nutshell:
🕘 In the morning, we covered rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, osteoarthritis, scleroderma, crystal deposition diseases like CPPD and gout, as well as some rarer differential diagnoses.
🕑 In the afternoon, the focus was on axial spondyloarthritis. Also, DISH, SAPHO/CNO, and differential diagnoses of the spine and sacroiliac joints were covered.
During two almost 2-hour sessions, participants could work with interactive cases from the BerlinCaseViewer app. We will opened our back archive 🗄️ and presented almost only cases that are otherwise not available for practice.
