Hey there, thanks for uploading your boss battles and your skill tree. I recently restarted WotR and wanted to play every DLC...and i got persuaded to play these DLC on Unfair, so i can get those goodies for the main game. Your Gryffonrider MC is very fun to play and most of the (Lord of Nothing) DLC is quite enjoyable on unfair. Now my problem war some of the bosses: i'm currently hanging on Carrock and i'm quite stumped on how to play this boss..well, less like a mess. So i'm wondering, if you had tipps and tricks that could make this encounter a bit less frustrating (that AC, his stupid plants...the dragon bug? ). Again... thanks for the videos, they made this much more enjoyable :)
@@dr.sordidus5570 There are 2 main trick, 1st is life bubble, you want Sendri to learn life bubble at lvl 10 and put it on your core members, your cleric should have some casts as well to ensure the majority of your party are covered, life bubble allows you to ignore most of Carrok's abilities, such as the sleep gas, cloudkill, plaguestorm etc. The 2nd trick is that you can bypass a ton of Carrok's ac with spells, Carrok doesn't have uncanny dodge so If you put on greater invis you gain +2 concealment ab and will ignore his dex bonus to ac, freedom of movement buff will also allow you to ignore his seamantle ac. Sendri will proper items and buffs will hit him very hard and easily with lesser maximize rod + bolster empowered snowball. The way how I did it was charging normally with the griffon pre combat and shave off 200 hp before combat even starts, then sendri stay around 35 range and toss a snowball, gas will trigger and cutscene happens, when cutscene happens try to 5 foot step away from the boss, Sendri/Penta can dimension door/scroll to get your important members out or assist with charging, if done properly the boss will die very quickly.
@@sfzrxgaming9875 It worked on the first try. I had to replay the jungle part again, since i bought the elemental engine with me, instead of the shaman. Then it was just a matter of spell preperation: All the buffs in the world plus as you said: Life Bubble, Greater invis and Freedom of Movement. Charge in like a mad man and you prevent him from summoning. Phase two was a bit unlucky for me as my cleric stood too close to the boss and i didnt notice..thus getting killed, but i didnt wanna restart and won anyway (i raised dead on her later). I had my casters help a bit with dispel magic and also got them the flower buff of Sage Saffron (since its 30 mins and thus survives the 20 min travel to the boss). My Sendri was very unlucky with his snowballs and i didnt get to test, so i ask: Does Freedom of Movement help casters also in overcoming the Seamantle? Cheers and a good day!
@@dr.sordidus5570 Yes, freedom of movement also help casters ignore seamantle, both freedom of movement and greater invis are very good on Sendri for that fight. I actually brought elemental engine with me for that map personally for an easier time killing the trash on the map, but she is pretty useless during the boss fight yea, I didn't even bother putting life bubble on her. Anyway, have fun in the next zone.
