- In this episode of how to be a man I go over how I built a built in dvd bookcase for my theater room. I don't go into too much detail because I think it's kind of obvious what I'm doing, and the measurements don't matter since your wall is a different size.
When I last organised my DVDs, I ended up realising that a bunch were missing too! I know I lent a couple of them out, but not all of them!

Man that's some hard work, but in the end it pays off, turned out very nice.

this is giving me ideas man. i have a bare wall that would be awesome to do something like this to. except instead of DVDs or books id put my video games. i got a shit load of them lol

Forgot to ask, I don't see any "nail rails", How did you mount it to the wall? Pocket hole joints? Just asking, because at least from what is visible on camera, you did one hell of a good job hiding it, appears to be "floating". True sign of good work.
I did something similar to a pocket hole. they would be hard to find.
Looking awesome! Love the cinema screen! Are these good ol' DVDs only or also BluRay discs? Not important anyway, since you can use the bookcase also for upcoming 4K ultra HD (they really do look better on the big screen: pixels = shmixels - it's all about the look and feel, provided they made a new 4K master and didn't cheat by upscaling - some color graders should be fired!) Anyhowz: awesome and top notch work as always!
they are both. why in the hell would I get rid of 300 plus dvds just to replace them with blu ray? lol that would be a waste of money.
I would have used rosewood.
