- Mustafar used to be a garden world covered in vegetation. But then a tale of love, superbeings and superweapons would change the course of history for this tiny little planet.

sorry for the repost, original version had no footage in the second half
Haha I was just wondering too
your videos are good to play while playing stellaris
And here I thought it was just me
Your video was clouded by the Dark Side. 🌗😉
Is it possible to make your videos available in pic-in-pic format? It would be nice watching u while doing something else. I like your content bro
Only Generation Tech can make me feel bad for a fictional planet 🤗
It should be, at least eventually, impossible to breath the atmosphere of Mustafar.
And this convoluted story of arcane engines and force powers is not needed when it is in such close orbital proximity to a much more massive planet.
When I first saw Mustafar I saw the moon of a gas giant that was just outside the Roche limit of the larger body and was continually being flexed and thus heated by an elliptical orbit.
That is the mechanism that acts on several of the moons of Jupiter and Saturn, and perhaps even Pluto's "moon" Charon.
Stellar illumination, flexing and radioactive decay keeping the body generating more heat than is lost to space.
he's severely underrated
Adam is very good at what he does.
@@AdventureWolfDesigns wait, his name is Adam? I thought it was Allen! My whole life has been a lie
It's Allen @@RedBoko2017
A definite hellscape of a planet. It's wild that there's any breathable air on that planet that not scorching hot and toxic. I always imagined that the world where Vader gets immolated would be volcanic but not an entire volcano planet.
Terrorforming
@@MrSHADOWANGEL999
"I don't know if Vader's the kind of guy who would self-pity."
If he isn't, he really isn't Anakin anymore, because that guy could wallow in it.
Man, what a sad fate for Mustafar.
nothing sad about made up shit
Mustafar is healing after the Aeon Engine’s destruction.
@@ryankwon8785 I know, but it will take a while.
Fantasy is sometimes too much disassociated with reality. How could a planet like Mustafar have a breathable atmosphere?
Not only that, but the heat from so much hot lava would have killed anyone near it without adequate protection. Padme, not a Jedi, didn't even seem affected, did she?
Shhhhhhhhhhh
It’s a universe with faster-than-light travel and space wizards, Mustafar having a breathable atmosphere is downright tame compared to some of the other wacky stuff
@@homemadecringeycontent6363 🙂
oh your one of those losers whod be like ready player one. useless
Luke, “How did my father die?”
Obi-Wan, “We were on a volcanic planet and played the most dangerous game of the Floor is Lava. Unfortunately, your father did not made it.”
Forty-nine times we fought that beast, your old man and me…
Mustafa is probably my favorite planet bc it's sparsely populated, isolated for the most part, and I just love anything Darth Vader.
Alderaan: hold my beer
😂😂😂😂
Did he just say Shao Khan??? Finish Him!!!😂
> "I don't know if Vader is the type to self pity."
Well Anakin sure was, and Vader spent lots of time wallowing alone in his tank.
I always hear dumb@ss holdings instead of Damask, makes me chuckle every time
11:17 "Obi Wan Kenobi - expert at topographic maps and elevation" well played sir, quite sneaky....... 😅😅😅
According to the experts, it is impossible for Obi-wan and Anakin to be that near to the lava during the duel without getting cooked alive because of the heats. So how did they survive such intense heats? And if it's because of the high ground, shouldn't that be apply to just Obi-wan?
Everyone knows fictional lava doesn't burn you unless you touch it, or get really really close.
The radiation would cook you before the heat would
Man; I LOVE this channel! 🤗
Where do we get the story about Vader restarting the engine to somehow bring back Padme? Sounds rather dope.
And what's the footage at 13:24 taken from?
The VR game Vader Immortal
@@421rationalargument4 Ah, cool thanks. Is that the answer to both questions or just the last?
I don't think I'll have VR anytime soon, but I'll check out a playthrough for a good Vader story.

@@MagusMarquillinI’ve played the first part of it on my brothers vr, and it’s an experience I highly recommend. Seeing Darth Vader walking up to you is a surreal experience.
Awesome video! I'd leave to see more about the corporate side of Star Wars, and how the Sith used it to defeat the Jedi and take over the Galaxy.

I bet if anyone is a fan of "classical" knives, swords an other blade types in the Star Wars universe Mustufar as we see it must be one hell of a forge world... since its near useless for most other things. Unless your harvesting some kinda heat energy or normal minerals stuff, or want to turn the devastated planet into some sorta hellish incarnate prison world
Love your channel and this video was amazing, so interesting.
Hello there! A mastery of topographical maps and elevation are skills of a Jedi, elegant skills of a more civilized age.
"Obi-Wan Kenobi, Expert at Topographic Maps and Elevation"
Freaking LOL
There we go. 😂😂😂 good job guys!
That is very interesting video.
Very Nice
How about doing a video on the best places to live in starwars and the best jobs you can find there.
Farmer on Naboo?
Cargo pilot with your ship as your home?
Its technologically explainable how corasant still has breathable air but tattooween doesn't have as much vegetation or water for electrolysis and mustifar is spawning out co2
plants dont feed from electrolysis
Who said the people in Star Wars even breathe oxygen? Obviously they just breathe AIR instead.
I'll gladly watch it again. 🙂
Topographic maps.🤣 Good one.
Don't forget Gizor Dellso's rebellion. That was another huge thing that happened on that world.
i thought this was gonna be about a terrible star wars branded hotel or something. Mustafar is pretty cool tho
Cool
Day 303 PLEASE DO MORE TACTICS VIDEOS AND STRUCTURES LIKE THE CIS NAVY STRUCTURE AND RANKS
(Said in original upload) Mustafar is just hell if it were a planet
Is it "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" or "the ends does not justify the means"?
Mostly the first one, but a little of both. Stealing the most important thing ever isn't justified, but the main problem is the unintended consequences that destroyed everything.
Early earth and that yell moon of Jupiter are like mostifar
At 12:25 that’s 100% the eye of Mordor
(Why did this guy leave 3 separate comments??) because now you read it Mr reader 😅
This world is quite literally the definition of… the floor is lava! 😅🌋🔥😨💀😆😂🤣
Re upload again please
Mustafar is affectively the hell planet of the star wars galaxy, so it is no surprise that it became so thanks to a force experiment going wrong or that the Sith, who are the literal devils of the star war galaxy set up roots there when it came to darth vader as he felt right at home there for obvious reasons.
OOOH!!! Sci-fi world idea! A world that's an ecumenopolis, but instead of concrete/duracrete/whatever, it's made of vegetation. Multi kilometer high trees, like on Kashyyk, but it's inhabited all the way down to the ground, and even below. Even the oceans are covered with thick mats of vegetable material, some as large as New Zealand, or whatever.
Cool idea! 👍
Mustafar is one of those Star Wars worlds that didn't really need a fantastical explanation for its geology and climate. We already have a Mustafar analogue in our own Solar System. Two, actually; I.O. and Venus. I.O. experiences the same tidal stresses Mustafar does due to orbiting so close to Jupiter and thus is constantly turning itself inside out with volcanism, and Venus is a planet that unlike Earth, never cooled down and stabilized its climate; it instead plunged into a hellish runaway greenhouse affect. If you combine these two worlds together (like, put Venus in orbit around Jupiter in place of I.O. and maybe move the Jovian system a little closer to the Sun), you'd get Mustafar.
The thing about Mustafar that REALLY doesn't make sense is how ANY life forms, especially squishy humans, can survive there without heavy environment suits for more than a fraction of a second. Send any human to either I.O. or Venus and they're not gonna last very long, much less have drawn out acrobatic duel. But hey, it looked REALLY awesome so I'll give Lucas a pass on that one.
On the topic of poisoned worlds, I'd love to see a video about a planet that's appeared in many novels and games but never in live action yet; the literal landfill planet Raxus Prime.
Mustafarians are pretty tuff.
Wait, Darth Plagis company was called Dumbass Holdings? Did I hear that right?!
That's so sad
All planets start out like mostifar
Hey Alan!
I think a cool video would be a comparison to Luthen talking about how when oppressors work slowly, we sometimes don't notice and we sometimes need a jolt, to how Republicans ending Roe v Wade sparked a backlash? If anyone can do a neutral video comparing the real world to Star Wars, it's you. I love what you do, cyber friend.
Why the fixation on neutrality?
@@noname-bu1ux So he doesn't alienate half his viewers.
@@OswaldPHaygood well when you put it like that it sounds very reasonable lol.
I'd opt for alienating as many as it took. For a franchise about anti-imperialism, one which goes out of its way to very clearly identify it's fascists, it's liberals, it's organized labor, it's lumpen element, a lot of its fans don't realize how they're the ones being critiqued. Too many viewers are like Freck from Obi-Wan.
@@noname-bu1ux you and I are on the same page, my friend, and I suspect Alan is on that page too. There is a dangerous fascist movement surging in America, and too many are either blind or ignorant to the threat (or sadly, supportive of it).
@@OswaldPHaygood I like Alan. Alan certainly seems wary of fascism, and he's one of two star wars commenters online that I can stand. He has his lib takes here and there though that really grind my gears. I think he mentioned human nature in some context somewhere and I hate that shit. Every time someone mentions "human nature", I die inside. Like WTF is human nature? It's not something you can measure. "Human nature" is metaphysics, and anti-fascism can't be effective if anti-fascists fall for the metaphysical. To be an effective anti-fascist, you must have the most disciplined mind. You must become a dialectical materialist, not an idealist.
Since fascism relies on false realities, metaphysics and idealism are allies of fascists. And dialectical and historical materialism are what we use to combat fascism. That and guns, bombs, tanks, bayonets and anything else to stop them.
But yeah, other than a few forgivable liberal takes, Alan seems to have a mostly dialectical analysis of Star Wars.
Anyway, America inspired the Nazis. I can't say fascism never would've happened without America, but the Nazis certainly wouldn't have happened without America.
if mask can be possed what about droid's who already have mind. If droid gained a soul through a ghost possession would a memory wipe exorcise the ghost
Even if everyone breaths carbon dioxide. Everyone should still need a heat suit with air cleaner to live mustifar for only a second
Well you see, the lava isn't real lava. It's a special kind of lava called "fictional lava" which is just uncomfortable to be near and only burns you if you touch it. Understandable mistake.
How many worlds did Palpatine kill?, Now, The God Emperoror Leto II, he sterilized alot, maybe more than ole palps...
mustifar like planets are most common planets in the real universe so focus on that one planet
Mustafar as Schuylkill County but no Molly McGuires.
