Anyone else pucker @ 20:25 when it almost slid into the Roxter? Great to see it moving under steam, awesome job, Jeff
The moment we've all been waiting for!! Fantastic job!! I'm sure we all love it as much as you do.
Hey Jeff, for filling your gearbox, go to bunnings and get a cheap garden sprayer, take the nozzle off the end of it and bend a hook in the metal tube so it will hook in the full hold. Fill sprayer with oil, pump it up and pull the trigger 👌🏻
You Vin Wiki appearance was great to watch. As a long time fan it was a proud moment. Great to see you receive recognition.
Ps. America is a long way to go to avoid watching the Rugby.
Thanks for that tipp.
I have a similar M9 story with my 1979 Alfetta GT. The SPICA mechanical fuel injection was converted to Webers years ago. The Webers are an early emissions (early '70s) version, and the progression hole inspection covers are M9 bolts. One of them was missing, and I couldn't find a replacement ANYWHERE. I recently had the carbs rebuilt by a guy in Illinois and he actually manufactured one for me. He then was able to find M9 bolts from a supplier in - of course - Italy.
I'm just as happy as jeff. Lol. That exhaust note gave me goosebumps when he revved it. Sounds fantastic!
Looks and sounds amazing, next job I think Jeff will do is flatten the top of the driveway so he can get over it lol
With it being a Subaru gearbox it is most likely one of those holes is for a neutral switch. Yes, I know it is a manual, Subaru use neutral switches in their manual transmissions, it has something to do with fuel mapping and using a different map for idle, no gear selected. The other one I have no doubt would be for another sensor. I'd be comfortable with just plugging them up with bolts.
That could be it.
Dear Jeff! I just love this series. The Alfa Bertone has always been a dream car for me. Your slight "twist" into the Alfarrari is just a over the top dream :) One thing I disagree on in this episode is the heatshield. The reflective surface has to be on the hot side. Furthermore painting the hotside black, actually makes it absorb the heat. I believe you have build a heat transfershield instead...
Otherwise - as mentioned - This is my ultimate dreamcar :) And you are just so creative and clever around all the different crafts around the art of building a custom car. Wow!!
For a moment I thought you were going to slide sideways reversing on your driveway. You'll have to look out because it seems she might be a bit tail happy but that will provide more fun also :)
Many, many kudos, Jeff for reaching this important milestone! I’m so impressed with the width and breadth of fabrication and creation skills you’ve developed…you’re amazing! Now go take Mrs. Jeff out to a big celebration dinner, both of you deserve it.
A huge moment!!!
I, and I believe a lot of people all around the world, are very happy for you!! 😊👍👏🥰
Cool to see it move! Your first burnout was on the garage floor. I think you are gonna have your hands full with this little beauty. But what a car. Congrats on getting this far. Now get it buttoned up so you can go do a proper drive!!
Congratulations from an alfisti from São Paulo, Brazil! 🍀
For gearbox filling I have a little 12v extraction pump and use it to extract oil from the bottle and decant into the gearbox. Sometimes the gear oil is a little thick so I either use a little hot plate and bowl of water or an old kettle to thin the oil a bit. Takes 5 mins to set up but then it’s no work at all. Great job Jeff. So happy for you.
Congrats to yourself and mrs Jeff for putting up with all of our obsessions, brilliant mate, and a big cheers big ears for sharing your toil.👍👍👍👍👍👍
I literally cheered when you pulled it out of the garage! can;t wait for the first real pull- Congrats on an amazing build, thanks for sharing the ride.
The beast is alive, it's alive!!! Sounds demented. Congrats Jeff.
Well done M8, so happy for you . Have been following since the beginning and was smiling when you moved it out and the absolute joy on your face afterwards.😎
Amazing progress! Wish I had known when y'all were in Nashville, woulda been great to have a cuppa with you. Glad you had a great trip.
Congrats kids, you really did it !! Regards from Corrientes, Argentina !
Congrats Geoff. Been following your journey from the get go and so thrilled to see it moving under its own steam at long last.
Not long to go. Been enjoying the journey. Hang in there. Cheers 😊
0:19 Hi Jeff, I was hoping you wouldn't turn into the Hulk, but you got close! Welcome back home mate.
Such an epic episode!! All those years of hard work and that engine sound is amazing
Congratulations Jeff! Can't wait to see and hear it on some of your local back roads.
Hi from Vancouver 🇨🇦
I've been watching since the beginning. Congratulations! Jeff. You should be so proud of the incredible effort you put in to create that amazing automotive machine/work of art. Can't wait to see it get a real road test.

So so excited for you mate! This is going to be epic! Can't wait to see the Flyby Video of it at full send down Sydney motorsports park going past the pits!
So happy for you!
Fanstastic! Congratulations!
I follow this serie from the begin! Happy to see driving it.
I have avidly watched this whole build (as well as your previous ones) and I have to say this is the best so far! It looks and sounds fantastic, the exhaust note is absolutely sublime and everything is superb. I hope you have many years of happy driving in this car!
Which Ferrari mill does it have?
You did it! 🎉Tanti Auguri🎉 Jeff. Thanks again for taking all of us on this mechanical wonder of a journey!
AMAZING WORK! Very well done! Top job Jeff!
What a Momentus occasion.
The Alferrari doesn't just Lives, Breathes and it moves!!👏👏
This Build Brought me to your Channel and have loved the Build, you're a really Talented Genuine Bloke in a Garage, Doing it all Yourself, you really should be Proud of yourself and Thanks for taking us on this Journey!!
Looking forward to Testing on this, there's no Doubt this going to move and make some Great Power and look Forward to seeing Roll around to 8+krpm and seeing your face Grin when it gets there!!!
Oh and Thanks to Mrs Jeff for all Alfa and Ferrari info, it's been entertaining watching make all the Mistakes, you really have a Good Wifey there!!😄
Congratulations Jeff, big milestone! One note: make sure your heat shield has sufficent drain holes so leaking fuel can not accumulate there!
What an amazing milestone Jeff! Congratulations. I can empathize with the diminishing nerves each time it's started... went through a similar thing when I first got my Bugeye started!
Amazing 🤩 I feel your joy in finally seeing it move under its own steam. Congratulations you are an amazing builder. Can Mrs Jeff do a facts about the alfarrari. It surely has earned it 👍🏻
OUTSTANDING Jeff!!! You are an inspiration to those of us with an unfinished project in the garage. I am looking forward to seeing her on the track mate….
Mrs. Jeff seems to have a good sense of humor & self.
Congratulations Jeff! Very happy for you, great accomplishment.
Just LOVE the enthusiasm, I can feel the joy. Congrats Jeff, what a milestone.
Congratulations Jeff.looks and sounds awesome, one of the best Alfas on the planet.
Epic win, Jeff!! Well happy for you, mate!! Oh, and she sounds absolutely nuts! Cheers. Leigh.
car is already an absolute legend! hopefully soon, we'll get to see it at full chat... cool build and nearing what I'm sure is a satisfying conclusion for you and all who've watched all its progress!
Way to go! Been following this build for a while now and it's very exciting to see it moving under its own power! Also very much loving the yellow with the silver stripes in the sun, spectacular choice there.
Big congratulations!
Such a cool build.
A big congratulations Jeff! It looks awesome and I'm sure you'll soon have the niggling bits sorted.
Well done Jeff. Another success for you and your levels of excitement are infectious!
Good on you, Jeff. Loved watching this build.
Congrats, Jeff, what a milestone! I absolutely love the sound of that Ferrari engine!
Well done , it's been a long time coming. I enjoyed the journey, congratulations 🎉
What a moment
Congratulations Jeff , you did it 😎
Very happy for you both. It’s been a long-ish journey but once it’s done you’ll be so proud. And mobbed wherever you go I suspect… I’m off this week to pick up my COVID-interrupted Moto Guzzi engine rebuild from interstate. That’s four years I didn’t plan to lose 😩. Can’t wait till my Le Mans Super Leggera is up and running.
Congratulations Mate! Awesome work!
Waited along time for this video but well worth the wait! So impressed sounds great and minor start up issues. Can't wait to see her go down the road at full song!!! Congrats.
I swear Mrs Jeff is standing there at the end of the video thanking God that Jeff is a car nut and super occupied with his car projects, and not into cheating or gambling or boozing like a very large number of men do. I like this couple!
Good work, progress is being made and it’s coming together. I can’t wait to see it actually finished and on the road.
I’ve said it before, a stunning little machine, you should be so proud
Bravissimo Jeff, finalmente la macchina ha il motore acceso e si muove. Ti ho seguito dal tuo primo video e adesso è emozionante vedere i progressi che hai fatto. Super!!!
Hats off to you Jeff. This has been mega project and your vision and madness really needs to be applauded.
So dope.
Been waiting so long for this project to get on the road.
Can’t wait for track day!
Congratulations! First drive is an important moment in a project.
Jeff, I’m so happy you got the Alfa started. Been following your build since ep 1, this has been a journey. Your build has lasted longer than my previous relationship. Can you please find another UK/Italian beast for me to watch you bother for the next two years please 😂
Some mushy brakes, and rubbing from a housing that needs clearing out, are some minor gripes compared to the clutch failing or gearbox crunching! I'm so happy to see this moving, literally, and us moving forward, and I hope it's long, long time before we see either gearbox or engine out of the Alfarrari. Thanks for all your video's, an amazing accomplishment, congratulations! It's a CAR!
that's f'n awseome! we even got to see its first burnout when you were trying to reverse out of the garage!
Such an accomplishment! Well done Jeff!
Amazing! great work team.
Awesome, Jeff to see the Alfarrari move on its own.You did such a fabulous job. Congratulations.
Amazing work Jeff!!
Such a genuine car guy. So happy for you mate. Love this car, love the attitude. All the best
Congratulations !! All that work and effort !! Just brilliant ..... !!
Congratulations Jeff, I know that nervous feeling all too well. It’s a great feeling to get to see it alive. Sorry we missed you in the states this time.
Super nice!! Awesome sound! I think it will be a drifting machine. So light in the rear!!😊
🎉 long time coming! I started watching right after you finished Harry, congrats!!
Hi Jeff, I like the stp Tom Thumb pump for filling gearboxes. They only hold a litre and are a little tedious but they are so good at not making mess. Tool pro have a similar one which is pretty good too
Where I work we have two types of milling machines for locomotive wheels. One has a cutting head that has the cantor of the wheel and another where it is essentially a lathe that cuts the wheel
That's some great news!!! Definitely one big step towards finishing it! And it sounds phenomenal!
Congratulations Jeff. So happy for you. Those burn outs looked great!
This is such a fantastic build, well done Jeff. Can't wait to see it rolling down the road and hearing that V8 sing.
Man o man, I’ve been watching you build this car from the very start. Love it. Sound awesome looks great and can’t wait to see it carving up the track and roads. Very well done 😀👍👍
So glad those issues were relatively minor ones. We might hope to see a proper drive very soon.
🤞😊👍
WOW, that sounds amazing 👌,was really looking forward to hearing it firing up👌👌👌
As someone who watched all of the Project Binky series from BOM, this car is so much better. Can't wait to see you wrap up those final touches. Congrats from Florida USA.
So excited for you Jeff! All your hard work has culminated in a beast of a machine. 😎
Congratulations, what a beautiful sight it is to actually see the car driving🎉🙂👍🏻
Fork yea!!!! always a great moment when they move under their own steam 😊 For filling the gearbox I drilled 2 holes in the plastic cap of the oil bottle and put a tyre schraeder valve in one hole and then some clear plastic tubing in the other. Both of these must be an air tight fit. Then I just use a bicycle pump or air compressor as very low pressure. Works a treat.
Woaw...! At last. Fantastic job, Jeff. You must be totally exited to finally see and feeI what this beautiful car has become. I love this Yellow Alfa beast. Congratulations on it, from Denmark🤩
Such a huge milestone. I've been a fan since the z was in metalwork. I love seeing you go through the emotions. I wasn't a fan at first of the Alfa, but I've grown to love it. Glad to see it move. Bleed brakes, clearance driveshaft, figure out clutch. I laughed when you got stuck at the top of the drive way. Maybe it's time to do a diy on laying pavement! Good luck getting it worked out. Next build needs to be a Datsun 510/1600 2 door!
Fantastic and well done. Really, impressed with your hard work and determination. Hats off to you. 👍
Congrats jeff can’t wait for a full shake down drive car looks amazing great job
Amazing Jeff, that put a real smile on my face 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Really happy for you Jeff well done !!
