- The Duke of Sussex is expected to meet with the King during his trip to the UK next week, it has been reported.
Harry will attend a ceremony marking the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games at London’s St Paul’s Cathedral on Wednesday May 8.
The Sun reports the duke is “very keen” to meet with Charles, with their previous meeting coming in February following the King’s cancer diagnosis.
It has also been reported that any potential meeting is unlikely to include the Prince of Wales, with William scheduled to be away from the capital on Thursday and Friday.
The duke is expected to give a reading at a service of thanksgiving marking a decade since the inaugural Invictus Games London in 2014.
It will be the first major event he has attended in Britain for some time.
Organisers say there has been no confirmation of any other royals attending, or if the Duchess of Sussex or the couple’s children will be in the UK.

Hmm Meghan is an attractive successful woman and talented actress….how weird that creepy oldies seem to get off attacking her for nothing all the time.
Especially in the age of the internet. I’d hazard a guess that there’s a lot of drama that wasn’t made public in the Wallis era. With M’s love of publicity and H’s interviews, biography, etc, it’s pretty much played out in the public eye. It is an insult to the soldiers who risked life and limb in Afghanistan. THEY are the heroes. I'm also tired of hearing how Harry created the IG. How can Mr Cole ignore the truth...H was a bunker boy in Afganistan. He has never been involved in any battle. He copied the Warriors |Games in the US...brought back the idea and the RF set it up for him to run. All he has done is take funds for his own purposes under 'expenses'...fair enough. But as soon as mm came on the scene everything went downhill and she made it her show. Not only does he command a high fee for attending but all expenses must be paid by Invictus and its staggering just how much is taken....This is for our Vets - not the H & M show. Cole made trouble on behalf of Fayed saying Fayed's employee, Henri Paul, was not drunk apparently not liable for being the drunk driver of the car, who drove himself, Diana and Dodi to their deaths. Henri Paul's posthumous autopsy blood results proved he was drunk, driving at time the car crashed. Michael Cole is a very experienced PR man, elegantly spinning fictions for whomever pays.

Harry did not launch “his” Invictus Games! It was launched and funded by The Royal Foundation of the now Prince and Princess of Wales.
Harry did NOT "set up" the Invictus Games - he brought the IDEA across from the US Warrior Games, but the Games themselves were founded by the Royal Foundation of Prince William & Catherine in co-operation with the Ministry of Defence, the Palace and several dignitaries involved with the 2012 London Olympics & Paralympics. The figurehead position was handed over to Harry to give him something meaningful to do after his return from Afghanistan.
And Harry deserves very few plaudits now that he's reduced what was an admirable undertaking before Meghan got her claws in him to his wife's platform and subsidised fashion show.

I wont donate anything to Invictus while Harry and Meghan, the Dukey and Duchess of Grifting are involved. You can always sponsor individual athletes in your own country. At least you know your money is going to a veteran and not ugly designer clothes, private jets and presidential suites in high end hotels.
