What video camera do you recommend with a budget of $200-300
Can you do a night ride to test low light capabilities and , pull stills to see if you can pull license plates or faces for an alternative to buying a dashcam?
Can you still connect a power cable when it's clipped to the hat? Love the attachment for POV recording but 35 minutes of battery life is not going to be enough I fear.
I think the car wash angle would be a good one for track footage. Would you say it would stick on the car while on the track since the car is moving more aggresively?
I personally wouldn't mount on the exterior for track use, it's also considered a projectile/hazard at most tracks

Wouldn't the insta 360 one RS twin edition still be a better choice considering it can give you all of the POV / interior shots with the 4k lens and the third person view shots with the 360 lens ?

The ONE RS would be a great all arounder camera because it is modular, so yes depending on the uses I recommend that one. This GO 3 is awesome if you like a tiny setup that you can mount anywhere easily since it's magnetic. Also the Action Pod is nice so you can review your footage in real time. So it all depends on what you need!
What do you use for an external mic? I can never capture the exhaust/engine noise without getting a lot of wind noise.
That's one of the negatives apparently. No external mic, no SD card (storage is not expandable or removable) and also poor in low light.
Any idea if it can capturer loud sounds in the 125-130db range? My go pro hero 2 did not do well with my banshee until I bought an external mic.
I would still recommend using an external mic for all things audio! Mainly to eliminate peaking and wind too

Yes I use a separate audio recorder + lav usually 👍🏻

Yup! You can easily switch from horizontal to vertical whenever you want

@@vinhgeta nope! They make it super simple, no matter the orientation all you do its push a setting on the action pod to change aspect ratio
