    Dunno if you noticed, but the leather tome from Malugaz gives additional range damage, and it can be upgraded if i remember.
    But DAYUMN that base looks fire!

      @SwarmSeeker  Рік тому +2

      I thought about using the tome, but I figured the extra crit chance was better, so I stayed with the Concealed Blade instead. And thank you, it took forever to make, haha!

    Use the polished golden spike rings instead base they give 12% crit chance and 44% crit damage that they are better than your setup.
    Throwing daggers are so much better too. They up your crit chance, and they attack 2.5 per second, compared to what u are using of 1 attack per second.

      I haven't tried the Polished Golden Spiked Rings yet. But the Scholar's Staff did more DPS with my setup then the daggers, they are very fast and cause more crits, but they have significantly lower damage. However this may be a different story with that ring set suggestion!

      Oh jeez, I didn't know the drop rate was that low. Maybe the next 30 battles will be kind enough to drop one, haha!

      You are not alone, I am farming for that card too.

  • @ShadowEclipex
    @ShadowEclipex 9 місяців тому +1

    I need to farm Molgaz for the card (and maybe the figurine) do you have a good suggestion on how to farm the skull shards? Cuz my current plan is to have both a mob farm and hunt cavelings manually to try and speed things up.

    • @SwarmSeeker
      @SwarmSeeker  9 місяців тому +1

      Honestly, a farm would probably work best. I've noticed that the shards aren't a common drop, so maximizing the spawn rate of stone moss cavelings is your best bet. On the other hand, you can afk with an automatic farm, and come back to plentiful amounts of stuff and shards. Also, to build a big farm, you're going to need to run around and mine the stone moss which will also have small pockets of murderables and if your farm is close enough (I think it's roughly 200 blocks) you can come back, and it will still being running and spawning while you're collecting the moss. I hope this helps!

      @@SwarmSeeker Any tips or videos for optimizing a farm for a single spawn tile? I have a general mob farm, but will probably add an extension for more cave moss spawns.

      I try not to watch any videos of the games that I play as to not spoil endings and to give my audience a chance to give helpful tips and suggestions. So I don't have any videos for optimization, but there are a couple that have popped up on my recommended list so they do exist. There is also a steam community guide that explains every piece of the spawning mechanics, with the exception of the crystal biome since it was made prior to that update. That might be worth a look if you're looking for perfect optimization.

      Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed! Also, that's awesome that it can be dropped elsewhere especially since it would be super useful earlier in the game. I've only heard it being dropped by Ivy.

    how much time did you spend on this game to have that many golden titan's chest ???

      From the beginning of the Core Keeper series, I've put in about 300+ hours into the one map. Not my proudest statistic I'll admit, haha! Although for the Golden Eggs, I sat at my Mega-Project while the Easter Event was going to collect the necessary seasonal eggs to defeat the Awakened Azeos over and over and over again!

    The musket deals alot of dmg if you upgrade it so you should try it next time

    • @SwarmSeeker
      @SwarmSeeker  Рік тому +1

      I'll have to look into that! The Scholar's Staff has an extra range damage perk that improves with the Upgrade Station, which is why I chose that weapon.

    If you only had one triple trouble and then the rest in crit damage, although it would take more time to get it, you could get a higher single hit

    Is it worth do not use crits at all?

    • @SwarmSeeker
      @SwarmSeeker  Рік тому

      In my opinion, and from some testing, crits are important for overall DPS and boss tackling. Crits are also really good when paired with Triple Trouble, giving ridiculously high damage readouts to one-shot almost everything.

    Dont use a boat on omoroth, the tornados dont break bridges, hust bridge up the outer ring and run around the tornados

    • @SwarmSeeker
      @SwarmSeeker  Рік тому +1

      That's true, but those tentacles from Omoroth do spawn and break the bridges, and walls, in their spawning area. Though, I'm not sure if I can kill him faster than the spawning and destruction of the bridges, so maybe a test is in order...

    • @shiznitts
      @shiznitts Рік тому +1

      I have only fought him 1 time as of now so I definitely can't be certain how good of a tactic this is but I didn't notice many bridges break (I don't remember seeing any, but I was all hopped up on Titan Juice) and if the game follows the same rules as usual with fall deaths being relaxed and forgiving, I think the only time you definitely wouldn't wanna go for this tactic is on a hardcore playthrough@@SwarmSeeker

    • @SwarmSeeker
      @SwarmSeeker  Рік тому +1

      I don't think I've seen Titan Juice before, but that sounds like it would give extra boss damage, which would be super useful. I may have to try that as well as the bridge idea to see if that makes the battle easier, since even late game, I'm still struggling with that boss! Stupid deaths tend to be a specialty of mine, yet I don't think I've had a relaxed fall death before, haha!

    • @shiznitts
      @shiznitts Рік тому

      lol by Titan Juice i just meant I was excited for the victory, looking at the soul and loot, not focusing on bridges. But maybe that's what's in the Unusual Potion? lol (I didn't use that for him, just the regular potions and rare foods)@@SwarmSeeker

    I haven't played CK since pets were introduced.
    This game is an early access game and it suffers from extreme powercreep already. I was a no voter to pets. Pets REALLY need a huge nerf to them. Pet Keeper tbh.
    Even as someone that mained Hard difficulty most of the time, endgame is it's just base maintenance/beautification/learning about about this game's scarlet electricity.

    • @SwarmSeeker
      @SwarmSeeker  Рік тому +1

      I like the pets, adds another dimension to the game; however, I do think the pets need a rework. Some of the pets are almost completely obsolete, even with their special traits, or are only useful in a specific builds. Like the Morpha's baby slime doesn't do anything different than the other slimes; it's special trait is slippery, but it's not all that useful in battles, and completely useless against bosses. Also I like the idea of after an entire game's worth of fighting and killing bosses, to then get to settle down and work on a nice base.

    • @Elit3Blaze
      @Elit3Blaze Рік тому +1

      @@SwarmSeeker In my experience of video games, once pets with *abilities* are added, the game can basically be completed with no weapons/armor just maxed pet out doing all the work.
      Pets should have never been introduced in the first place. The only game that does this well is Oldschool Runescape. Just a follower with some flavour text. Nothing more.
      "get to settle down and work on a nice base." I forgot to mention I'm not that creative of a person, so I get bored of the base building-stuff after a bit.

    • @SwarmSeeker
      @SwarmSeeker  Рік тому +1

      Haha, I can agree that if you're not much into base building and decorating than that idea is a moot point. I haven't had too many interactions with games that the pet is a bad thing, such as with WoW, the hunter class is completely useless without it. So I think there's definitely a way that pets can be added in a way that doesn't detract from the game. In Core Keeper, the pets are extremely easy to get early on, making them essential to the way that the developers see the gameplay. I think it's an interesting idea, but the pets should either be balanced in a way to which all pets have usefulness, or nerf easy or beginner pets and make the later-game pets more powerful and useful. I prefer the latter idea. This may just be me and my gameplay, but there's no way that my pet can complete the game with minimal interaction from me. My original pet that does fight, gets distracted or waits for me to get swarmed before decided to do something. However, all this being said, the pets might be completely overpowered in normal mode, since I've only played in hard mode.

    You need to use pure damage presentage juvelary

    • @SwarmSeeker
      @SwarmSeeker  Рік тому

      I think the pure damage would be better for overall battles, but for bosses, the critical chance is better in my opinion. Plus there's something inherently satisfying about unnecessarily large numbers overkilling everything, haha!
