The way to beat Muk easily is to ignore the crafting altogether and just focus on opening chests. Chest cost perma increases every night so speed is vital. Getting 4+ lifesteal+ regen is enough to facetank the statues, farm the statues for gold, and open the medium chests. Rinse repeat. You can snowball so hard doing this that by night 3 you have every chest on the map opened.
As a dani viewer as well (the game dev) watching people play and love this game is truly awesome because in his videos he showed all that he did and the naming of the mushrooms makes me giggle because they are all deez nuts jokes

I think he has played so many games and posted so many videos on many games, that he forgets what he has already done before. Now, I wouldn't be against a long Hydroneer video of him actually playing the game vs. a compilation of him either using the pickaxe bench to get the plot destroying pickaxe and destroying plots or destroying a plot with the plot destroyer pickaxe just to use the dev pipes to fill the empty plots with different materials.

You need to Use villages, and buy Instant adamantite tools. The you can skip right away all Gold and mithril stuff. I play on gamer mod and i have adamantite tools preferably on day 1
pretty much i found out about agme and finish it on very level in less than week. just as it is whole island don`t want you and that`s what you do just walk and kill. from day one i just chase upgrades and camps that`s all I did and i end up day 15 destroy all camps on the island and than finish the game.
