the pinching at the toe was noticeable and a little painful at first, but goes away after break in. I went a half size down which made lockdown perfect and the shoe is a great on court performer. Especially for guards!
I tried them on in the nearest FootLocker, and they were pretty comfortable. The balance of court feel and impact protection is pretty good, at least for me. I'm a shorter guard with a Baron Davis type build.
The look of the shoe is definitely nice for the court, but the one thing I look for in a basketball shoe and it's the most important is performance, I intend of buying and seeing how well the performance is and you've given a great review, can't wait to see how they feel.

The materials on that colorway has that spandex-like stretchy material on the toe box which is more forgiving then this colorway with the leather. Loving the performance on these and half size down they fit my foot perfect. But my trusty number one ball shoe is my good old reliable Kobe 8's and Kobe 9s with the Lebron 11 full length zoom/lunarlon insoles. Best combo ever.

I also have the Kobe 8 elites superhero colorway and they came with the zoom air in heel and forefoot insert and I'll pop those in when I'm not trying to have maximum cushion with the Lebron 11 insoles and sometimes even rock just the normal lunarlon insoles if I'm in the mood but usually I'm rockin the Lebron insoles. I have basically every colorway of the Kobe 8 and 9 so there's no shortage of insoles for me. Best Bball shoes ever for me and my foot and my playing style. Tried the crazy light 2016. Always jam my toe. Went back to Kobe 11s(all star to be exact). The way play I guess Kobe models have been the best. My homeboy got a pair, will try them out. Good price to do so
I have an ultra narrow size 13.5 foot and I have the James harden volume 1. Eventually they broke in for me, but I had the Suede toe cap, not the leather. Now they are in my everyday setup. I got the cargo colorway. I recommend the suede over the leather as well because I tried on the leather and it was super stiff compared to the leather.
I'm currently using the Curry 3 which i feel good with it, I mean I'm a shooting guard i like the curry 3 more than the harden vol. 1 which my bro has... i agree with you, the fit is ughhh struggle, I almost had an injury after doing a hard lay up during the tournament last 2 days here in the Philippines... thank you my bro and I liked this vid
Nice review. These probably aren't for me. The Kobe 11 EM and the Melo M12 are what I hoop in. I love the fit on both, and the traction on the Kobe's is great. Sometimes I use the 2016 Hyperdunk Lows too, solid all around shoe.

Everthing else was great im a G so the shoe catered great to me. Maybe i have to wear it for a bit longer to activate the rubber. Sometimes new rubber you have to use them alittle bit for them to work. Interested to know what the initial traction was like.
i love these man i feel what you're saying about the digging it's almost like a pressure point in the middle of your foot but out went away fairly quick for me smooth sailing after that. they do run super long but being a 15 that could probably benefit from a 14.5 if they made half sizes after 13 all my kicks are long

hey foamer I just coped some Kobe 11 BHM they are sick AF and I love everything about them except the traction is really good but you have to do a lot of wiping and these shoes look insanely good also so I have like you said a little pep in the step
Got them on clearance but the fit me weird. Impact protection was good but I couldn't get traction. I had to wipe way too often and I felt discomfort on the arch of my foot.
On weartesters they show how to cut the first eyelet that is what digs in to your foot when you bend it.. i cut mine its almost gone but i think i need to break them in more..
Christian Mata it will because the rubber is solid, don't go for the ones with the translucent soles because they will wear out quickly. I have the Home colorway red with white leather toe cap and of course with the solid rubber sole. I just bought them one day ago and they are absolutely amazing outdoors and indoors
