Beautiful Andy! The swan chase came out well! Lovely to relive it - nicely done! Love the camera retrieval clip too haha! Atb skipper, Simon.
cheers Skipper. We'll have to harness the swans next time for an easy ride
Fun vlog , canoeing looks great fun !
The swan chase was one of my favorite parts. And the curious cows.
Simon I lost a GoPro in the River Wye 2 years ago, do you think you could take a look for me? 😂
I just loved the swans and the babies. Beautiful scenery and calming sounds of the water and birds.
Wonderful, peaceful, good food, relaxation and valuable friendship…what more can one ask for? Oh…and those swans! Sooo beautiful! Andy and Simon are always a great team! Thank you!
All the nettles around you could have helped with your hayfever😂 All you need to do is pinch a handful of top shoots, chuck them in the cooking for a few minutes (just like cooking spinach); or make it as tea by simply boiling the water, then remove the pot from the fire ( as you don’t want to spoil the vitamins by boiling it), then chuck them into the pot and let it steep for around 10 minutes or till the water becomes dark green. Then ready for drink. There you have it - a natural antihistamine and a lovely earthy spring tonic as well - packed with minerals, iron, vitamins etc…. Nettles are nature’s miracle plants and they are everywhere and freeeee… One of the godsend food for us. Thanks for the videos. I just start leaning camping. So soothing to watch them. ❤️🙏
Awesome 😊 I'm from England. I live in B.C now. But just love seeing people, enjoying the English county .
cool, you enjoying it there?
I do love it here, only been in B.C for 3 & a half years. Was in Ontario ( Sudbury ) for 15 years. B.C has more of an English climate . You just have to be more careful camping . Black Bear's & Cougars.
Pleasurable paddle Andy & Simon, nice views along the way, Thanks for taking us along. Cheers.........Les
Thanks Les, Really hope to be able to do this again, so much fun :)
Just catching up on your 3 day river trip. Amazing footage! I love when you and Simon travel together. Would love to see more videos like this.

Thank you Jeff, was a fantastic trip, ive been bitten by the canoe bug haha
Jeff Tuttle trust me Bungay is far from beautiful. But the river running through it, is.
Enjoyed that, just done a section of that river at the weekend. Planning on doing the full length of the river to Burgh.
What a great video! You guys looked like you had a blast. Some really nice camera angles (even if you dropped the camera in the water twice as a consequence) I thought for sure one of those swans was going to have a go at you though, especially the one you were chasing down through the reeds. Keep up the good work lads, your channels are a joy to watch.
Brilliant 2 part video Andy! Looking forward to the next video!
Thanks Gareth, editing away at the moment haha
Hey buddy. It looked like a fantastic time. You did very well and i hope you get to do more of these.I am going to get a couple of sit on kayaks for the lakes and river.. Can not wait. Looking forward to the next adventure. Cheers.

we just needed a rope so it could pull us along haha, thanks Geoff
Another cracking video. Glad you got your camera back...I'm way to familiar with those heart stopping arse just fell out of my world moments hahaha...And a great trip for the pair of you with the weather too. Nice one 👍
haha, yeah.. Simons the man for finding drowning cameras haha, thanks Robert
As a fellow hay fever sufferer, I empathize with you. I would have been sneezing my fool head off all night, and been tired and out of sorts the next morning. But you soldiered on! What a peaceful little river trip, more what we call a creek here. Enjoyed the video, despite that. As always, stay safe! - - - An Armchair Adventurer
Hayfever is the worst.. makes June pretty unbearable unfortunately.. full face mask next year lol
I see you had an elegant local guide for some of the reedier parts of your paddle! Never led you wrong.
if only we had a tow rope ;) Thanks for watching

Thanks Moose, certainly was good to have a table (not to mention toilet haha) cheers for watching mate
Still lovin those cow shots ,great vid
Thanks Jeff
You managed to still have a great time at least. Do you plan on putting wood in place of the tarp? I noticed it was gone. BTW we call them Daddy long legs down here in Texas as well. Anyway looking forward to see your next camp project. Glad to hear your feeling better since you mentioned you were out for a week or so. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed seeing the swan’s and the curious cattle! Sorry about your hay fever episode. I feel your pain. I had it a lot when I was younger and it is terrible. Thankfully I don’t get it but once in a while now. “SPAM” LOL!!!
Thanks Alice.. I only got hayfever in my late 20's.. awful for an outdoors person (that is alway working outdoors at the moment haha) hopefully it'll pass soon
3:15 how rowdy do the pub goers get that the pub needs a pillbox 😂
Good vid there buddy .. cheers Chris & Sam
Excellent video, congratulations!
Simon got the short straw at the back of the boat after that breakfast, serious fart power there! great vid as always
haha, but he was powering the boat :p
Andy = 'Hurry up and keep paddling Simon, I can hear banjos'!
Did you know Swan meat has a unique taste? it's a bit like Golden Eagle! Joking apart though, it's lovely to see the cattle, especially so after that foot and mouth catastrophe a few years back, not to mention the 'Mad Cow' fiasco, and I don't mean the mother in law! Imagine the countryside without any cows or sheep, perish the thought! Lovely vids lads, well enjoyable!
Thank you :) haha, I did love those cows, they were very inquisitive :p
Man, that looked like a great trip. I wish I had a place to canoe like that.... I love putting kidney beans into meals but they never really return to form after being dehydrated... still tasty though lol!
It was so good, I really want a canoe now but don't have the space :( haha, I had some more beans this weekend.. not bad but the sausages go chewy :p Thanks for watching buddy
Well edited video and great weather!
Well done to both of you. I enjoyed it very much
Thanks Diane, It was a fantastic trip, im very grateful to Simon :) Thanks for watching

Me too, Simon is a great guy to travel with
Cracking video andy you's are both lucky to have found ya camra some great footage atb jimmy 😎 😎
Thanks Jimmy, Simon has a sixth sense for finding cameras haha
I went on Dragons Den once, I explained that I'd invented a form of transport that could run on water alone, they were very, very interested, until I showed them my canoe, then the interest waned after that, and I've never known why?
lol, im in for 50% ;) thanks for watching
Nice Trip! Very Calming Video!
Thanks William
how did you ever forget your sunglasses andy? lol...you gents make it look easy. how many miles covered this day? because you guys looked to be gliding in that water..
haha, I don't like wearing shades much.... they cover my beautiful eyes lol. I think we did around 30 or more in the first 2 days.. Simon was chief navigator :p I might do a follow up video to the trip if I have time.. gear I got for it etc
Kent Survival sure. that makes sense. 👊☺
Simon: finder and rescuer of lost Action Cams.
I love that little metal pot stand insert thing for the trangia, Andy! Where can I get one of those? Another great video. Really enjoying seeing you two adventuring together.
Hi Stefan, do you mean on Simons? thats the honey stove. I just used my lixada wood stove pot stand on top of my burner. cheers for watching
Stefan, just search up "Alcohol Stove Cross Stand" in whatever country you're in today. Amazon (US and UK both), for example, has a half dozen different ones.
Brilliant! Thanks for the tip.
Awesome video pal one of my favourite channels atb john
Thanks John, much appreciated.. This is easily one of my favourite trips so far
Awesome adventure!
Thank you :)
21:21 The big white building is part of the old maltings :)

Great series of vids guys. What an enjoyable trip! Did the camp site know you were there or did you pull a crafty one?😉
Thanks again Steven haha, we were honest with the site, they only charged us ten pounds (total) to stay.. result
"Bridges are made for burning" (Jim Croce). Yeah, that was before they started building them out of concrete.
How cool was that Swan shot.. NO NO NO spam you will have to start the dance ! haha
haha I refuse to do the dance.. Stuart owns that one haha

Day three weather was super 👍

Lovely scenery. Strange to see white swans as Australian ones are black.
I didn't know that, cool :p Thanks for watching Steve
Y'all's boat floated off didn't it and y'all didn't tell us about it keep up the good work
As a quick hack you can always thicken meals with a little instant mash. (The cheap powered stuff)
funny enough Simon did that to his soup with the instant mash left from the night before :) Thanks
looks fun.....
reminds me of when I was little and played in the wilderness .......i miss that ...i want the great tribulation to come so that God can make all things new again....

Great videos how many miles did you cover
Quality content, but how many times did you have to run back and grab the camera?
Thank you :) and too many time lol
Love ur show
Nice trip - must do it sometime :)
Thanks Angela
Did you use your paddle as the pole in your Hex Peak, or did you take a Hex Peak pole? Thanks
Hi Angela, I just used a trekking pole, Simon was using one though for his tarp tent.. I didn't know how the paddles would work as I hadn't seen them before the trip.. good idea though :)
Do a part 3 with you both.
Thanks Susan.. this was all of the footage, Simon has a Part 3 coming though
A nice collaboration Gents, did you ache a day after Andy? 🤫
Thanks Michael.. there was a bit of aching haha, wasn't as bad as I thought though considering the 10 hours days on the water
Kent,firts burning the water,2 the pasta.ok.
