What a treat: approaching the Holy with shared vision.

My mother, with early Alzheimer' refers to my "Second Life". What she means of course is the time now that I am spending - mentoring, serving, feeding, nurturing, helping, donating, working in all ways that do not include 'earning a living'..and mom values what I do (which includes for her, also). She encourages me to 'harvest' my life, and I am so very much connected to it. At 66, I sense this more than ever before.

Spiritual Eldering is a great concepts and well developed by Rabb Zalman. It is not a narrowing of life as we get older. Rather it is an opportunity to grow in other directions, and to use other areas of the brain, previously unaccessed by us, to continue to provide ourselves with positive activity. Tap this area of the brain that is ripening in older people.
