Hopefully this will be a budget version of the Stirling more suited to home lawn care as the Stirling is an outstanding machine but out of reach of many home owner gardeners.
It’s not a Stirling however sits between the Liberty 35 and Stirling
So looks like an updated/modernised Liberty 43 with some new features that have come down from the professional Stirling. Looks like an excellent machine that will last a lifetime.
@@paulstaniford8622 yes it sits below the Stirling and is much more affordable coming in at a similar price to our Liberty 43 but offering crazily better features
I just wished you can make the sterling more affordable for home users
@@AsifHus786 i also agree. i have went with another brand due to the price point. maybe one day i will look to purchase Allett but for now its a little too much.
Mr Austin this is a dream for me. One day. Beautiful machine
I do like the Allett Sterling but to be honest even as an enthusiast it was out of my budget. So I was reluctant to admit a good quality rotary was my best option. Until today! Well done Allett this is perfect for me and back in my budget!😊
Good to hear 😍 We wanted a model that was in between our lower spec Liberty models and the Stirling but also one that was more affordable but with similar features
The wide functionality, the features, the aesthetic, the simplicity of use and even the price are bang on! For me you hit the nail squarely on the head with this one and just saved me from blowing quite a lot of money on a machine nowhere near as good and I didn’t really want. Well done Allett😊👍
Wow… I was looking at an allett mower this time last year, inflation across your range is significant based on 23 prices. You’re costing these devices above most lawn enthusiasts now.
Who are you comparing our prices to? These are British made cylinder mowers.
What a beautiful machine! Sadly it's an " how I wish"! My modest battery powered rotary works but ......
great
We will be posting details on our website tomorrow. Please contact your local Allett dealer to purchase allett.co.uk/pages/global-dealer-locator
I'm extremely interested in the conversion option you have mentioned in the comments for the liberty 43. It solves most of my problems with the machine when I use it.
It’s seems like a relatively simple re-design of the Kensington which I purchased only around 3 years back along with all the cartridges available. Good to see you thought about the ‘pain in the proverbial’ of changing cartridges by putting a slot in the drive side cover so you no longer have to take it off to do so. Wonder if one of these new covers would fit my Kensington? I notice you now use screw head bolts instead of allen bolts to secure the cartridge in place. Hope you also thought about the tacked m6 bolts these screws thread in to, as the threads in these striped in mine after only a couple of months of use. Probably because of the heat induced by the tack welding of the nuts softened them and the tension caused by the cartridge fit gradually pulled the bolt over them. Please don’t get me wrong, I realise things are always having to evolve but my machine is only a few years old, so even if I could afford to keep up I wouldn’t want to as I believe with it. Wouldn’t it be great if Allett could offer customers like me, with a very similar machine, albeit not battery, some replacement parts or modification ideas/instructions (such as the slotted gear side cover) so that we can improve the ease of use of our Allett. For example, could I cut a slot in my side cover? or, if it fitted my Kensington, simply buy a Cambridge side cover?
Hi you will be able to purchase the parts to modify your mower although you will also need a new grass bag as the old won't fit on the new cartridge brackets.... you will need when available... 1) New grass bag , 2) cartridge guard bracket 3) grass bag connector 4) side guard with the open hole... as far as I know!
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK Thank you for the speedy response. Sounds good. I take these will be available via Allett website?
@@paulmarjoram2258 they will be a part I think via your local allett dealer.
Our RC conversion kit to use QC cartridges in the Cambridge will be on our website
Any idea on when this will be available in Australia?
Hi please get in touch with AdeTurf - they’ve just put an order in and a batch will be on it way across! Make sure your names on one of them!
Looks an exciting new option for homeowners.
Have a Liberty 43. Will this take the same cartridges?
Do you think there may be a trade in scheme with Allett?
Hi No sorry this is not something we offer as the manufacturer. It’s worth speaking to your local allett dealer though
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK thanks
Sorry, also added a question. I have the Liberty 43. Will this take the same cartridges?
@@kamalrammahtani8864yes it will
With a conversion kit
You’d need a cartridge guard as well as grass box bracket
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK is there going to be a conversion kit for the liberty 43 to make the changes even quicker? As in avoiding taking off the side panel? Many thanks
@@kamalrammahtani8864 eventually yes. You would need a new bag, side panel, cartridge guard and grass box hoop. We can’t have an open guard as it’s illegal
Can the mower self propel without engaging the reel?
Not on this model no. You can on the Stirling . Both have two stage safety
Can you replace the petrol engin with the battery powered drive?
no sorry we don't offer that
Could this run on a lower 2.5AH battery, or does it require a 4AH battery?
It could on a 40v battery yes but you wouldn't get much run time out of it
Is it self propel, able to climb inclined areas?
USA Stores outlet ?
Yes self propelled . They’re not really designed for slopes. How much of an incline?
@@tempiedemps5179 www.allett-usa.com
I now have remorse for my liberty 43. I haven’t bought more cartridges because of the said reasons around ease of exchange. 😢
You may be able to get the parts to make the cartridge change quicker :)
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK point me to parts list? (So I don’t screw it up) thanks!
@@zmjackson1 not available as yet
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK Looks like the side cover can be interchangeable giving access to the cartridge slot without opening the whole thing ?
@@enhancedcomposites2068 you would need the guards and grass box holder kits and a side guard with the hole in I'd imagine. i need to check this though with our engineering team to see if it's something that is doable
Can @allettmowersuk offer conversion kit for liberty owners, I own liberty 43 and from my point of view what I need is a whole in the side cover and perhaps something to cover it so the clippings don’t go inside or new mesh basket and conversion brackets for cassette.
You’d need a new grass bag too
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK so does it mean that you will offer conversion kit it for allett liberty owners?
- side cover with new opening
- conversion for cassettes
- new mesh basket
Or do we need to
- cut the opening ourself on the old cover
- look for the conversion kit for cassettes
- and buy new basket?
@@mietekwojciechowski6067 It is something we are looking at in the future yes. You would need... new grass bag, side guard, grass box connector and cartridge guard
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK ok I will wait for that thanks
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK just out of interest do Cambridge have bigger engine/ more powerfull? As the cover on top seems much longer?
Will there be a version that works with the 80v greenworks battery?
Not planned as yet no sorry
Other than the battery used whats the USP compared to the Stirling?
The Stirling is a more premier mower
This sits below the Stirling. The Stirling has an even quicker cartridge change, ego battery, deeper cultivations etc.
This model is perfect for those with a smaller budget who still want great results and all the cartridge options
Will the new side panel be able to be retro-fitted to a Liberty 43? I've had mine less than 12 months and I'm not looking to swap it!
I think that was an option but you’d need the side guard , cartridge guard bracket and grass box hoop bracket
We are just finalising this
It would be wonderful if the new grass box could be retrofitted to the Liberty 😃
@@gr328 and the mm height of cut gauge 😅
@@willo300 No biggie for me really, it's the weight and awkwardness of the plastic box that I struggle with, having a disability.
Is there a way to buy this Grasbox holder separate 🤔
@@grayfox87kurt26 you’d have to buy a new bag, grass box conversion kit and the new side guard to fit onto other models
@@ALLETTMOWERSUK oooh that sounds great 👍 thx
Is this UK only ? Or USA ?
Hi we are going to be selling all over the world
Don’t understand. One mower with greenworks system and another with Ego 😅
Yes our ego is on the Stirling which is our premier mower at 56v
Stirling also seems to use the EGO folding handle setup so probably why its also got their battery.
