- My personal cherry picked collection of about 360 games i have organized in launchbox/big box.
At most I’ll just be adding new releases in teknoparrot(arcade) and a few new windows games.
Not a ton of games, but these are actually ones me and my family play.

That is a Lovely build and you can see it takes a lot of time and effort spend doing .great job.I wouldn’t be off my pc if my build looked like this .I have been trying to build my big box build for about five year now but no even close to this standard.great work
Thanks! It has been time consuming but I’m not trying to get every game ever made on my pc, just what I actually like. So besides adding the occasional new release to teknoparrot or windows games, it stays pretty much like this.
I do now have a Lightgun category that I’ll upload once I’m done working on it.
@@hdjoe22 How do you get the Wii games to work without the motion paddles?
@@BillBailey0 you need to map the motion controls like shake onto the triggers or whichever specified button you want. There’s a wiimote tab in the config, settings section
5 Years?!
It took me 3 months to build a 102TB Emulation archive with nearly EVERY game including some XBX and PS5. I have over 900 Switch games as well.
My build is insane compared to even this one.
@@knowledge4741 yip 5 years and still trying to get it all running how I would like.between running my own business and family life I don’t get much time to dedicate myself hours at a time and then with frustration when things don’t go correctly I can walk away from it for months.but really enjoy having the ability of having all the games from my childhood to date at hand and being able to just sit and play whenever I get a chance.

Great build, I would love to have. I am very new to all this so I am tring to start my own build.
Big box graphically takes everything to an upper level. I wonder if there is a search bar tool, like in launchbox. I would be frustrated finding a game especially in a huge collection like Mame.
I have my name down to about 120 or so. Pushing left or right brings up the alphabet to search for games by name👍🏼

I did record many of the teknoparrot and windows videos. I keep the launchbox folder on a 2tb drive with all the large windows games in a separate drive. Lots of space to spruce up the look. 👍🏼

@@CharlieEdward25 what kind? I’m using a Sinden since my pc is in an av closet away from my tv and projector. I needed a gun that didn’t rely on sensors
@Joe HD getting the exact same one with the recoil lol cant wait getting patrion for teknoparrot seems worth it
@@CharlieEdward25 I didn’t go with recoil. Only because I figure the noise would get old 😬 it works amazingly well tho. Tons of fun with all the shooters. As for patreon, I have the $5 teknoparrot setup and I play terminator salvation and aliens Armageddon with it. Spider-Man as well , even tho that game is super basic.

Is it possible to get video previews in LaunchBox for free, or MUST you have an EmuMovies subscription? Is there a free movies way? 🤔
I do have emumovies. You could record gameplay for each with your gpu but that could take forever depending on how large your build is
Impressive build. How many TB's is it? I need to get busy and finish messing with my build.
It’s about 3tb because of the windows games. Big files on red dead 2, call of duty etc. i have all console, the smaller pc games, mame, teknoparrot, Naomi and atomiswave on the full launchbox folder in a 2tb drive.
The bigger games like call of duty, red dead 2, gta 4 and 5 are another 1tb drive with another 1tb drive on deck if needed
Hi Joe. I would be very interested getting your build. (I share the same likes in games that you have chosen, lol). Would you be able to put on a portable hard drive and sell? I believe that you can get up to a 5TB drive
I could put most of the build on a portable drive. It would just take a while. I have a bunch of steam games that obviously wouldn’t go. I would have to copy everything over, then check that it runs everything because I do have some games on separate drives so I’d have to fix the paths on them. There’s also a new Lightgun category with a bunch of new games not shown in this video. All set up for a Sinden

@@lepetitchose they are actually part of the theme itself. They’re not present in the games.. unless you use shaders anyway

It’s the neon arcade deluxe. It’s not on the big box theme manager, you have to get it from the launchbox forum section (downloads)👍🏼

@@hdjoe22 just a small tip, if you had put this in the information box, you might not have to answer so many people in the comment section, I know some people do not read the info box, but I did and no mention of what the skin is called. You could also add it to the video as titles or something like that, if you are using a video editor.

I don’t really sell the build. If you want , I could load up what’s free(everything besides steam purchases) onto a 2-4tb ssd. You’d have to provide that tho.
beautiful theme, what is the name of this theme and how did you make the list stay on the left side of the screen, and how does it not disappear when selecting the game or emulator?
It’s the neon arcade deluxe theme. It’s not available in big box directly, you have to go to the launchbox forums, register, and go to the downloads section. That’s where it is. The list view is one of the options in the theme and the game titles don’t fade out, which is one of the things I like best about the theme

How did you get videos for every game?
Most are auto populated by Launchbox via my emumovies account, the others, I screen recorded myself with the Nvidia gpu

It’s Neon Arcade. Available on the launchbox forum download section. You can build your own theme, if you’d like to spend the time to do so.

Sub'd... How did you get PS3 to work with LB? I've tried and tried and it just doesn't work for me....
There’s a plug-in in the launchbox forums that kind of automated it. I did one game at a time tho. Once you setup the plugin, you run it, tell it where to find the eboot file, and it asks stuff about regions and such… you kind of wing it there and it should show you the game. You still need to go in and select the emulator in the metadata.

How in gods name did you get turtles in Time re-shelled to work?
I used the PS3 plugin available in the launchbox forum to pull all the ps3 game eboot.bins and it worked perfectly. Of course I did run it in rpcs3 first to make sure it was playable tho.

It needs to be a 2tb ssd. Those run somewhere around $100-$120 right now. I haven’t really considered selling the build as they’re technically “free” games.

Will you sell it?
No, but as I’m in the process of redoing it-mainly cleaning up my drives- I may be able to zip the whole thing but it’s a huge setup

@@aaron89857 no, you can download it directly from the forums and add it to your themes folder in launchbox . Then it’ll appear in the big box menu
How do i play ps4 and ps5 games
Ps4 has an emulator out but I haven’t tried it. Buy a PS5

You can’t “emulate” pc games. I have several Steam games running through launchbox. I also have others games like Tekken, R type, Spider-Man remastered, etc that I got for free from other sources that I added into launchbox as well.

@@hdjoe22 Thanks i did some testing and love the large Video demo when switching the games and the vertical wheel. But i am still stock on coverflow and Aeon mQ7 . What sucks is the video box is tiny on almost every launchbox theme available to download. I do like having the big boxes on coverflow and the ability to rotate the box to see the back. It gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling like i still own the game. The Arcade neon is great for arcade cabs though and the scanlines added feature is a plus for retro looking when selecting games.
@@CSIG1001 that’s why I liked the neon theme. Nice big videos, but, I didn’t like the scan lines so I deleted that png from the theme folder and the vids are nice and clean now. I totally get wanting the boxes like you said too 👍🏼
