I used Reshade to manually add the border to the game.exe. This game for some reason, also needed a slightly thicker border than others to eliminate the jittery crosshair. I don’t use the sinden border at all on tomb raider, just the “baked in” Reshade border

You mean the border resize? I use reshade for that.

Yea I think there was some registry issue or something like that on my pc. I recently downloaded revo uninstaller and removed A TON of registry junk leftover by multiple programs. Game booted up after that. Since teknoparrot is pc based, it also uses the registry like any program so k must’ve had some trash in there causing me issues

I have deadstorm pirates on PS3. Never had the arcade one as I heard there were issues on it like you’re describing

@@hdjoe22 only on sinden for me. Try sailor zombie for namco 357 its fun but again wont load for sinden and target terror gold no go for sinden

I do have emumovies. You could record gameplay for each with your gpu but that could take forever depending on how large your build is

I recorded gameplay on several using the Nvidia gpu capture

Most are auto populated by Launchbox via my emumovies account, the others, I screen recorded myself with the Nvidia gpu

@@TrexCharlieX same as mine. Check your task manager performance tab while big box is running and see how much memory is being used. Have you enabled the xmp profile in your bios to make sure your ram is at full speed? Last thing would be to adjust the theme settings on transitions, videos etc

@@TrexCharlieX then it’s the theme itself. I have noticed that some of the newer updates run a little slow. If you want, I can zip the theme as I have it (I haven’t updated it at all) and send it to you to try

There’s no way I could upload this build anywhere online with its size. I have however, put it on an ssd for someone already. I don’t charge for the games of course, and I do not include anything I’ve purchased on Steam or other pc platforms, but I do charge to do the transfer to your ssd and test it fully, as well as add requested games, if I can find them and they’re known to be working for whichever emulator. I set the ssd to work as a separate drive that will plug and play on your pc, provided you have the prerequisite downloads to run launchbox. I also set them up to work with an Xbox controller and sinden light gun

@@ErhanOnder what would you need it for? Most of the game videos and media are from Launchbox or emumovies. The rest I either recorded my own gameplay or made those intro videos, which I shared the link to. Only other changes I’ve made to the theme were to remove the video scan lines and add the PS5 sounds

I want it because if I look inside that folder I see which games added and which platform or playlist have which games etc. Those XML files include a game name and other information. If there are a Zelda Collection playlist it might be have these games on it. And which one platform which one action adventure wrote in it. @@hdjoe22 Thanks i did some testing and love the large Video demo when switching the games and the vertical wheel. But i am still stock on coverflow and Aeon mQ7 . What sucks is the video box is tiny on almost every launchbox theme available to download. I do like having the big boxes on coverflow and the ability to rotate the box to see the back. It gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling like i still own the game. The Arcade neon is great for arcade cabs though and the scanlines added feature is a plus for retro looking when selecting games.

@@CSIG1001 that’s why I liked the neon theme. Nice big videos, but, I didn’t like the scan lines so I deleted that png from the theme folder and the vids are nice and clean now. I totally get wanting the boxes like you said too 👍🏼

You need to highlight each game in launchbox and “add to playlist” then make sure that playlist is visible along with your platforms

So I tried it out again this evening.. redid everything. I just used reshade as normal, chose the game exe , applied the border, set up my sinden controls in teknoparrot and it worked perfectly.

It’s the neon arcade deluxe theme. It’s not available in big box directly, you have to go to the launchbox forums, register, and go to the downloads section. That’s where it is. The list view is one of the options in the theme and the game titles don’t fade out, which is one of the things I like best about the theme

Launchbox will add what it can via its database, or can also use emumovies if you have a subscription to it. Lastly, you can record gameplay if you have a gpu and use your own videos👍🏼

@@hdjoe22 ohhhh I see. Il record my own vids. How long to the videos have to be? And once I’ve recorded some videos where do they go in launchbox?

@@richwatson1985 i usually make my vids between 15-30 seconds. Once you record the gameplay, you can edit the video in the folder where they’re stored, usually in Downloads, and trim them to where you like it. Once that’s done, open launchbox, go to the game you want the video added to, open EDIT METADATA by right clicking on the game, navigate to images or media on the left side menu, find video, then add the video there. Launchbox will copy it over to its main game media folder. You can then delete the video from your downloads folder so you don’t start wasting extra hdd space.

You can’t “emulate” pc games. I have several Steam games running through launchbox. I also have others games like Tekken, R type, Spider-Man remastered, etc that I got for free from other sources that I added into launchbox as well.

Doesn’t matter what version of reshade you use. What you need to do is run the game as a stand alone exe, run reshade with the home button, set up your border and close it. Then you open the game in teknoparrot and it’ll have the border. I couldn’t get reshade to work while the game ran in tekno at all.

I don’t really sell the build. If you want , I could load up what’s free(everything besides steam purchases) onto a 2-4tb ssd. You’d have to provide that tho.

So I redid the setup, used reshade on the exe file, setup sinden controls in tekno and it fired up just fine. No ahk needed

It was running on a Ryzen 5600x with a 2060super at the time

It’s Neon Arcade. Available on the launchbox forum download section. You can build your own theme, if you’d like to spend the time to do so.

It does download some while you’re adding the games. More if you have a subscription to emumovies. For games that it can’t find anything on like say, teknoparrot, I just used GeForce experience to record gameplay with my gpu. Then you can add movies manually. If you want to get fancier, you can take those recorded movies and add graphics, etc to them

I set mine up for sinden. All games will work for whatever gun as long as you set it up for it. Several of my games have reshade built into them now to add the sinden border

@@hdjoe22 the only reason why I asked am having trouble with the setup error can only see one gun won't shoot reinstall the software can only use one gun, not two. Even the one gun won't work

It needs to be a 2tb ssd. Those run somewhere around $100-$120 right now. I haven’t really considered selling the build as they’re technically “free” games.

@@aaron89857 no, you can download it directly from the forums and add it to your themes folder in launchbox . Then it’ll appear in the big box menu

@Rick Moss I put the instructions in the description. As for launchbox, go into the edit screen and look for startup applications. That’s where you point it to whatever program or ahk you need. You can choose whether to run it before or after a game. 👍🏼

@@hdjoe22 thank you, I have sorted it, at first it was still looking for vacuum to start , probably because I had to ok it in windows and wasn’t quick enough. but then turned down uac and now works fine

​@Rick Moss are you sure Vacuum is not a real virus? My PC continously tells me it's attempting to install malicious software. Also if you tried to delete it the file is very difficult to remove once you allow it.

@@djg3906 a lot of these games and teknoparrot itself always gets flagged as virus, I promise you it’s completely fine

@@djg3906 a lot of the teknoparrot games trigger antivirus. The reason is because these arcade games are pc based so they have their own DLL system files. When you run them on a regular windows pc, Microsoft defender identifies those files as virus trying to change your pc. I’ve had these on my Pc for a while now with zero problems. You do need to exclude the folders from your virus software or the games will be auto deleted
