I found this video a couple of years ago, but I wanted to come back and say that I have made so many of these for all times of the year and have given them as gifts. Thank you! Everyone always complements my table runners when they come over.
These table runners are adorable. Thanks so much. I just loved hearing the kids in the background. Brings back memories. Now mine are 19 and 20! 💜🙏🏻👼🏻✝️😇
Goldie, I am a brand new at this at 47 and watched probably 10 hours of videos to do a ten minute table runner ;) However, yours was definitely the most helpful!!! Thank you from a newbie in southern Ohio.
I have seen several videos for this runner and the measurements are slightly different but they are all just as easy. They fold the point differently in some videos. Like having the fronts matching before sewing the ends or having the backs together. I find this table runner very interesting. Thank you for posting.
Thanks Goldie for sharing your lovely video,, i love how you put the different colors together.. I will give it a try you make it easy to follow,, thanks again...oxoxo!!!!!
@@cathy2329 haha, We have a big ghoul hanging on our front porch. When it gets windy, it blows around and my Ring doorbell detects it, and Alexa says, "Motion detected at the front door." Thank goodness, it can come down today! lol
Awesome tutorial. I want to learn how to sew and make placemats and tablerunners. This one seems very simple to follow. Love the kids arguing in the backround! So my life Lmao
Great idea for easy borders! I would just fold raw edges in and top stitch all the way around in order to keep the ends straight vs having pointed ends. Just another suggestion! 😉
Would quilting the runner help to keep it smooth? I would think that washing it would perhaps create bunching and the necessity for ironing it each time. Thanks for a simple tutorial which is easily done.
this looks so cute I want to try and do this when I go to a fabric store what are the measurements that I should ask for for each fabric if I just wanted to make one
Thank you so much for your awesome video. Can I ask you, are the seams 1/2 inch? And do you press them open before you turn the tube inside out? Or do you just press them to one side after you turn the tube inside out? Thank you!
Very nice.....have you ever made them with batting? I'm thinking one could put a piece of batting inside the tube before the pointed ends are sewn. Then there'd be the option to do some quilting on top. [sounds good in theory anyway....;-) ] Thanks for the tutorial!
Also what if you wanted to have a rectangle border all the way around instead of points. . . would you stitch tthe tops the same as you did the sides with the material being smaller all around?
I've always wondered about the batting and quilting part. I've just not been brave enough to try it! haha but I'm sure there is a way! Thanks for watching!
I like the table runner and don't mean to be picky but the next time you make a video, you should turn off the TV or radio or whatever is running in the background. I kept thinking I had another video running somewhere and it was distracting.

Are you saying the top center fabric is 12 inches wide and the bottom is 18? How long should it be?
Very easy. I made mine 72" long for our long table.
Thank you so much for your awesome video. Can I ask you, are the seams 1/2 inch? And do you press them open before you turn the tube inside out? Or do you just press them to one side after you turn the tube inside out?
Thank you!

Thank you and remember to like and subscribe and tern on post notification.
Also what if you wanted to have a rectangle border all the way around instead of points. . . would you stitch tthe tops the same as you did the sides with the material being smaller all around?
How much would you charge for making the table runner or matching placemats?
Did you sew the inner front line between the border?
What is the width of the material? On the ends

I like the table runner and don't mean to be picky but the next time you make a video, you should turn off the TV or radio or whatever is running in the background. I kept thinking I had another video running somewhere and it was distracting.
