I found this video a couple of years ago, but I wanted to come back and say that I have made so many of these for all times of the year and have given them as gifts. Thank you! Everyone always complements my table runners when they come over.

    Goldie,
I am a brand new at this at 47 and watched probably 10 hours of videos to do a ten minute table runner ;) However, yours was definitely the most helpful!!! Thank you from a newbie in southern Ohio.

I have seen several videos for this runner and the measurements are slightly different but they are all just as easy. They fold the point differently in some videos. Like having the fronts matching before sewing the ends or having the backs together. I find this table runner very interesting. Thank you for posting.

Would quilting the runner help to keep it smooth? I would think that washing it would perhaps create bunching and the necessity for ironing it each time.
Thanks for a simple tutorial which is easily done.

Very nice.....have you ever made them with batting? I'm thinking one could put a piece of batting inside the tube before the pointed ends are sewn. Then there'd be the option to do some quilting on top. [sounds good in theory anyway....;-) ] Thanks for the tutorial!

I like the table runner and don't mean to be picky but the next time you make a video, you should turn off the TV or radio or whatever is running in the background. I kept thinking I had another video running somewhere and it was distracting.
