Creating some Groovy Trivets

Today, we are trying our hand at using alcohol inks on porcelain trivets. They were challenging but I like how they turned out! Please let me know in the comment section which is your favorite set. 😊
Items needed for the project:
• Porcelain tiles
• Alcohol Inks
• Tile backing - I used felt circles, cork, and thick coaster paper
• E6000
• Rubbing alcohol and a clean cloth
• Droppers
• Paint and paint brushes - I also used a specialty glitter infused paint
• Sander or sand paper
• Sealer of your choice - I used varnish and then high temp spray
Directions:
• Gather all materials
• Paint back of tile in color of your choice - allow to dry thoroughly
• Clean tile surface with rubbing alcohol
• Add drops of alcohol ink to tiles surface
• Blend, add more alcohol ink, blend, add more alcohol ink until you the desired look
• Allow to dry thoroughly
• Apply glitter paint to the surface - allow to dry thoroughly
• Using E600 - add the backings to the tiles
• Allow everything to dry thoroughly
• Seal top with your choice of sealers - I used a varnish and then high temp spray
