Everyone should work on becoming their healthiest self (physically, mentally, spiritually), not only for their future partner, but for themselves. And it's okay to want to be single!

Just to be clear, NO ONE should be selfish. Not women, not men.

Wow! Definitely made me think about things more seriously. I feel like God is leading me to stop with that young and careless mentality, but I feel the consequences of what social media did to me, as well as a dysfunctional family. Now that I’m a Christian I feel like I have this desire to be a traditional woman, but something inside of me ‘rises up’ and tells me to be selfish, to not sacrifice my youth for children, taking care of the home, etc. It’s totally irrational. I literally am trying to tame it and I wish it wouldn’t be that way. I’m trying to change it, because I’m already in a marriage (recently got married) and I need to take care of the husband too. I feel the urgent need to work on myself. Even though I’m married, my mentality is still quite childish 🫢
Thank you for this video, it’s very appreciated ❤

If by “I need to take care of my husband” you meant house chores honey, you’re not his mother for you to take care of him, he’s a grown up and he can do it himself. If you both work you both go back from work tired and you both need rest, so you can both do house chores together cause you get tired too. If he thinks it’s okay to do all house chores alone the moment you go back from work, these expectations are just so disrespectful.

Sounds like you’re dealing with being double minded which is something we all have dealt with. Spiritually, I would fast (3 days) and physically I’d clean up my social media if necessary. I’d unfollow or mute anyone living the way my flesh wants me to and not listen or watch things like that either. It naturally influences us ❤️

The question for me is how do I find a man ? How do I find a husband? I’m not the type to wanna be independent and brag about it. I wanna get married have a successful husband. I’m in my late 20’s I think about it everyday. I just don’t know what to do. A part of me is scared idk how to go about it.

This needs to be viral. Such basic sound advice unfortunately it will keep falling on deaf ears. We are living in peak luxury compared to our grandparents and their predecessors…the west has strayed from God long ago and we are drowning in instant gratification…sin is normal abs even encouraged if you don’t partake in it you’re a bigot or whatever…..the devil has succeeded in tricking mankind since the fall but even more so today with pleasures right at our fingertips…the family structure is now a burden and not a priority…that’s the devils plan less warriors for Christ…we have everything and yet we are more miserable than before and lonelier.
Inflation is done on purpose to discourage, forming families…I hope you find your husband soon and have a healthy family…
God speaks highly of old age he doesn’t look down on youth but He does imply that with age comes more wisdom…the idolizing of youth not looking more than 20 is disturbing. Before the sex revolution looking more mature was considered to be admirable and the goal teen girls wanted to look like ladies va va voom even as a teenager myself over a decade ago I remember striving to look more like a woman now teenagers are wanting to get surgery on their faces?? So backwards….
I have 2 daughters and I will not let them have any social media my mom opted out from getting me a phone because we were broke and I look back at fondness because I wasn’t corrupted like my classmates…
Thank you so much for this!! Don’t back down from any criticism.

Wow! I agree with everything you said. And yes, the more we have the more lonely we become without family/values. Thank you for your kind words. And I will continue to be obedient to God, spreading what he leads me to.
