These were indeed mildly interesting.

Thanks for the input HoveringBanana78. It is appreciated.
here's a fun fact: the miami dolphins have had seven winning seasons over the past 20 years. only two of them resulted in playoff berths.
:(
Their 2020 season is one of the examples here
It's not a fun fact for me :
Don't remind us lol
Maybe we can start changing that now though 😈😈
@@GTG_PHINZ I hope so
"Nick Folk kicks off 65 yards, touchdown. He's just out here kicking touchdowns."
-Jon Bois
for the old heads next time: In 1956, the Baltimore Colts made an 80-cent long-distance call to sign Johnny Unitas as a free agent.
Nice
He’s just out here kicking touchdowns.
Another useless fact: Jeff George once led the league in passing yards
Here’s his season stats in 1997, the year he actually did that…
3,917 passing yards, 29 TD’s, 9 INT in 16 games with a completion percentage of just 55.7
His Raiders went 4-12 that year!
@@JWex-jy7sk wow! The raiders sucked that year lol
I was once told that my throwing motion was similar to jeff George. Idk if that's good or bad lol?
@@RiddlerQM Yeah the Raiders were coming off a 7-9 season in 1996 and looking for improvement Al Davis decided to hire Joe Bugel who had a 20-44 career coaching record with the Cardinals from 1990-1993
That was Bugel’s only season in Oakland
Barry Sanders ran for more yards in 1997 than Trent Richardson ran in his 3 season career.
Random Stat: Brandon Lloyd once lead the league in receiving yards (2012) even though he never recorded a 1,000 yard season before or after.
Yooo this is probably the best one that’s been commented
@@TKTwelve It’s the most random receiving stat in recent memory lol
2010 he had over 1,400 receiving yards. Roddy White was second with just under 1,400. David Boston kind of had a similar situation. 1,598 receiving yards in 2001 to lead the NFL and I think his only 1,000 yard season unless he had one more
@@matthewtaylor1785 Kyle Orton was letting it rip with Broncos. Wasn’t translating to wins though. As random as that season seemed for Lloyd I know for sure he’d never been targeted like that throughout his career.
@@4dhumaninstrumentality789 - As a 49ers fan, I will never forget the pass ye ducked away from that was thrown right at him... or the circus catches he was most known for.
There is a reason in Madden he had 98 Spectacular Catch and something like 78 Catch. Unreliable on a normal throw, clutch when asked to do the improbable.
About the Dayton Triangles, you can actually trace the existence of the Colts back to that team.
A few other teams get tangled in the web as well.
1913: Dayton Triangles founded
1920: Triangles join nascent APFA, which becomes NFL in 1922
1930: Triangles become Brooklyn Dodgers
1945: Brooklyn Tigers (as they were known in 1944) merge with Boston Yanks
1946: First iteration of Baltimore Colts begins play in AAFC as Miami Seahawks; also in AAFC: Cleveland Browns
1950: NFL and AAFC merge with Browns, Colts, and 49ers joining NFL; Colts fold after one season in NFL
1952: Yanks become Dallas Texans for final season
1953: Baltimore Colts reestablished with Texans personnel
1970: NFL and AFL merge; Browns, Colts, and Steelers moved to AFC
1984: Robert Irsay moves Colts to Indianapolis
1994: CFL comes to United States; Baltimore Stallions established, ending a decade drought without football
1996: CFL USA ends; Art Modell moves Browns to Baltimore, renamed as the Ravens
1999: Cleveland Browns reestablished
I think Columbus panhandles is worse the triangles played them in the first game
Also i did alot of research, the dayton triangles are the chiefs too. Im also gonna include the colts stuff
May i also include has something to do with the Cowboys
@hi i'm emily : said alot of stuff i did
1913: Triangles are founded in Dayton, Ohio.
1913 - 14: Renamed as St.Mary's Cadets
1915: Renamed as Dayton Gym-Cadets
1916 - 1929 : Renamed as Dayton Triangles again.
1916: Triangles team is formed inside of the Ohio League.
1920: Triangles join APFA
1922: APFA becomes the NFL
1929: Triangles relocate to Brooklyn and become the Dodgers
1944: Dodgers change name to Tigers
1944: AAFC is founded
1945: Tigers are folded, and assigned to the boston yanks, and also assigned to a small football group in baltimore to soon play in the AAFC as the Colts.
1947: First aspect of the Baltimore Colts
1949: Yanks are in shortage of players due to WWII and relocate to NY
1949: Yanks become New York Bulldogs, Yanks players are also traded to the Giants
1949: Colts switch to the NFL
1952: Bulldogs move to Dallas
1952: Lamar Hunt now owns the Dallas team and names them The Dallas Texans for them to go 1 - 11.
1960: The Texans start playing again in their final season
1960: Texans are folded to make 2 new teams: Cowboys and Chiefs.
1984: Colts are moved to Indianapolis
Not to mention that 2 of the 33-22 scores happened when an NFC West team visited Chicago.
Eric Fisher is the only No.1 pick from the 2010s to win a ring
Random Fact 4: The worst collective passing season was in 1977 by the expansion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Buccaneers quarterbacks threw 3 touchdowns and 30 interceptions for a collective 22.5 passer rating.
I think Broncos QBs in Super Bowls can’t be far off that lol
@@KC1996LFC I mean the Bucs qbs were so bad that they would’ve had a better rating by throwing the ball into the ground every play lol
Holy shit that’s bad. Wow.
@@gatienlaurol5793 The same could be said of the Bronco’s QB’s in the Super Bowl.
The Raiders drafted Ray Guy and Sebastian Janikowski in the first round. Given the choice, they would do the same thing again.
I’m pretty sure Janikowski went to jail or something like that
Random Fact 3: In the 2003 conference championships, Ricky Manning Jr, of the Carolina Panthers and Ty Law of the New England Patriots recorded 3 interceptions each from Donovan McNabb and Peyton Manning, respectively. And both players wore number 24.
Fun fact. The passing yards leader has never won a super bowl.
Random fact two: The 2008 Indianapolis Colts hold the record for fewest passing touchdowns allowed in a 16-game season with 6.
Another thing with the Colts is they have played all their Super Bowls in Miami
Holy shit that's Godly defense....or they just really sucked against the run? I mean...only 36 points against throughout 16 games is just unimaginable
@@alkavonstra5479 It’s not 36 points allowed in a season - just not a lot of passing touchdowns against the Colts defense. Ironically, they weren’t even the number one pass defense that year (that title belonged to the Steelers) and they were 11th yards allowed and 18th against the run.
@@gatienlaurol5793 well, you explained it a little more, but I meant only 36 points from TDs in the air. There are some games where teams get that in a single night, but to hold that through an entire season is incredible. I don't much care about yds/game nearly as much as points/game, cuz those are the only metrics that actually matter.
@@alkavonstra5479 Ah I see - I misinterpreted your statement!
But yes allowing 6 passing touchdowns in a given season is insane and it’s likely not to get replicated again.
"Every browns player has at least 1 letter in their name"
bro this is more useful than what i will learn in school
Big if true
"We signed Chris Blewitt; the jokes write themselves."

Isn't that the kicker from when Pitt blew a 31-6 lead in the fourth quarter of a bowl game?
You should definitely do this again
A few facts about the 2016 Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons were only team that season to start the same five O line men all season including the playoffs and the Super Bowl.
All three QBs, the kicker, and punter all had the first name Matt. Matt Ryan, Matt Schaub, Matt Simms, Matt Bryant, and Matt Bosher.
Matt Ryan threw a touchdown pass to a record 13 different receivers; 5 WRs, 5 TE, and 3 RBs.
Devonta Freeman (13), Tevin Coleman (11), and Taylor Gabriel (7) each scored more touchdowns (rushing and receiving) individually than Julio Jones (6).
Devonta Freeman (1540) accumulated more yards (rushing and receiving) than Jones (1409). Tevin Coleman (941) was third on the team.
That's crazy only the Falcons have done the 5 linemen thing. I didn't expect many teams to but only 1 is nuts
Matt thing is cool too lol
@@TKTwelve Oh was the same 5 starting o line thing an all time record? I must've misremembered it as a season record.
@@TKTwelve Google 1000 yard receiving trios, there are some interesting teams up the there. The Wikipedia page also has receiving trios with at least 900 yards and those teams and players are interesting as well. Also the Falcons have a team on each list respectively. New England has three receiving trios with at least 900 yards and Brady only played for two of those teams.
Random fact 5: Hall of Fame running back Walter Payton finished his career with more passing touchdowns than Johnny Manziel.
Walter Payton. Did you watch Barry McCockiner today?
@@matthewtaylor1785 I did!
you’re one of my favorite sports channels out there because tbh i watch so many games that theres not a ton of interesting clips or stats out there that i havent already seen or am not already aware of but your videos are always something original and different, keep killing it man love this channel
he’s just out there kicking touchdowns
Markus Wheaton has more 200 yard games (1) than 100 yard games (0)
These facts are more useful than what I will learn in school
JJ watt has more receiving touchdowns than jakobi meyers
Isaiah Wilson didnt just only play 3 snaps, all of them were kneeldowns
Fun fact every Broncos quArterback to win a Super Bowl was drafted by the Colts
Wow that’s a cool fact!
You win. Best fact
Rattan was the first quarterback to receive playcall in his helmet with a transmitter rather then going to the sidelines.
Love Curtis Martin, that stat was mildly interesting!
love your content man keep up the great work your vids are the highlights of my day❤❤️
I love this please continue it
Fun Fact: The Jets have NEVER beaten the Eagles...
Please do more of this. It’s really cool
UR RIGHT INTERESTING KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MY GUY!!!
Fun fact: The Giants are the only NFL team to win a superbowl in each of the last four decades (excluding 2020s):
1987, 1991, 2008, 2012
Here's a fun fact:The Ravens currently have a 17 win streak.....in the preseason
Good stuff man
I like this, do more of this
Love the Jon Bois shoutout
Best video I’ve seen all day🙌
Keep it going!
Chris blewitt is such a perfect name for a kicker lmfao
the exact type of guy the Browns would sign
these were fairly interesting
Raiders one doesn’t surprise me. They always waste first round picks.
I wouldn’t consider Ray Guy a wasted pick or SeaBass for that matter.
To be fair they nailed those two lol
Here’s one: ed reed missed 6 games in 2010 but still led the league in interceptions
Not so much a mildly interesting stat but still something of note that I still can’t seem to wrap my head around is the fact that the Falcons blew a 25 point lead with 17 total minutes remaining in the biggest game of the year without letting up an onside kick while also driving the ball inside the Pats 30 yard line twice and didn’t score a single point on either drive 😂🤦🏽
Now that it's been a while the two parts I find craziest is
1. Wide open TD on the strip sack
2. Not ending it after Julio's catch
Obviously Pats had some luck and they could've handled it way better but just 1 of those 2 goes right and the comeback doesn't happen
I liked this. These were mildly interesting.
I cant wrap my head around how u found out thst last one
I can confirm these are mildly interesting
New sport facts to bring to the office let’s gooo
Fun Fact: Tom Brady, although great, has the same number of career sacks on another QB as Mac Jones and Justin Jefferson combined
I enjoyed this
Spectacular 👍
interesting enough
I subbed because of this video
Ayo TK do an unexpected surprise background music from mario party 8 flute is hittin different 🎶
Gotta love Jon Bois
Fun Fact: the Bengals last playoff win were when the Soviet Union were still a thing. And then they made it to the super bowl and ALMOST WON. Thats weird right?
You mean, before January 15 of this year.
Home Alone was the #1 movie when the Bengals beat the Houston Oilers 41-14.

I like interesting nfl facts. Like how nfl teams are nfl teams. Totally an interesting fact there
And to that 33-22 stat, the bears did it twice in 2021 and scored 22 points both times and lost both times at home
I like this lol
Damn. Dwayne Haskins preseason gameplay hit hard.
Add on Chase McLaughlin, who the Browns just signed today...
Wow lol
Weird facts about every team
1. In 1967, the Baltimore Colts entered their final game of the regular season at 11-0-2, a 1.000 win rate at the time. They proceeded to miss the playoffs.
2. Both the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Commanders won their 1st Super Bowl Championships against each other. When Miami won their 1st Super Bowl against Washington, Washington was favored to win 3 points (Some sources say just 1 instead.). When Washington won their 1st Super Bowl against Miami, Miami was favored to win by 3 points.
The content of the video perfectly matches the title. Congrats on that I guess
Mildly interesting is perfect for what this is
These were really cool, but the best stat was the first.
I don’t know if anyone has seen that one playoff td run by Barry sanders but if you haven’t seen that beautiful run against the cowgirls I recommend you watch it
It appears the “Dayton triangle” is where Barry went 💀
random facts? yes
That first game between the Rams and Ravens have some crazy stats if I'm reading them correctly, St. Louis only had 121 yards‽ and Baltimore had 7 turnovers ‽
pt 2 plz
Agreed
Remember me when ur channel blows up
The browns just resigned Chase McLaughlin too
The bears accounted for 2 of the 33-22 as well
Fun fact....the Bills drafted Olijah Griffin whom is the son of hip hop legend Warren G....of Warren G and the Regulators.
these are only mildly interesting, next time they should be very interesting
Fun fact The punter the raiders drafted in the 1st round is from my city and he’s a hof
Jon bois is the goat
When Chicago Bears DB Lamar Jackson faces off against the Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson at one point, we could see a repeat of Josh Allen vs. Josh Allen.
Ugh I'll never forget that day and I kinda wish I had paid less attention to it 🤣😭😭
The fact that belichick drafted 2 of the best TEs ever and also drafted 2 of the worst is hilarious to me
Fun fact. There was no footage of Isaiah Wilson so they just used some random footage from a team he never played for lmao
Huh. That’s neat I guess
Can you do more of these?
Matthew Slater has more pro bowls than Randy Moss. So that means that he is better😤😤😤😤
Please do Another 1
Fun fact: Chris Blewitt is now on the maulers
Pats are so bad at drafting, they literally picked a lacrosse player over future Pro Bowler Holden Tudix
Imagine dayton triangles
I only dayt ovals
day 3 of asking if you can do a video on the ravens love for mobile qbs?? (lamar, tyrod, randall cunningham, rgIII, trace mcsorely, mcnair, tyler huntley)
Until they drafted Matt Ryan in 2008, the Atlanta Falcons, who joined the league in 1966, had never had two consecutive winning seasons. Even their Super Bowl appearance after the 1998 season (14-2) was bookended by two losing seasons. In 2009, they finally finished with a second winning season in a row.
Literally the only stat Aaron Donald is missing as a defensive player is an interception
Steve van buren was actually born in Honduras because his dad worked there
I forgot the year, but the Packers and Bears played the first game with no punting
“Chris Blewitt”
And the raiders kicker and punter became two of the nfls greatest ever
