Welcome to the joys of GoPro. I’ve gone back to my phone. Mainly because I left it on top of the car and drove off.😂 you’ve got a really nice style. Always enjoy your vids. 👍
Hi Pete, losing the audio has been a bit of a disappointment to be sure, I have no idea what happened there! Did you recover your Go Pro? I must admit, I never put anything on top of the car for that very reason!
Shame about the lost audio and the same happened to be on a hiking on the coast about 2 years ago but it was the media mod and not my GoPro. I see what you mean about the conditions underfoot, very wet and muddy indeed and you did lot look of sound happy, especially after a slip and falling down a hole. Well deserved burger and chips and to be honest, a great effort, cheers Alan
I was very unhappy after that first day- it was bloody awful! Yeah, I don't know what happened to the audio- I think water got into the mic. I always check the audio is working now! Lesson learned :D
It’s amazing how the weather when hiking can lift or dampen your spirits. Well done for cracking on. Shame about the lost audio but you made the best of it. All the best. Looking forward to part 2.
Still a good watch Carrie despite the GoPro woes ! I have an older GoPro hero 7, I’ll never buy another, it can freeze randomly, very annoying. Well done on day 1.
Hi Adrian, I am hoping the audio issue was a one off and I've just knocked the microphone connection out of place or some such, but Go Pro's are notoriously fickle things as you know! Thanks :D
Hey Carrie - good going. Mud mayhem, boggy moors and claggy vistas. What more could we ask for? It looked lovely out there - call me weird I do like the wet. Mind you if it's day in day out then it can be a drag I admit. U thought you put together a decent video after. All the best. Mark
Hey Carrie, fab video considering all you had to endure. My hubby and i did it end of october. It was really challenging getting up out of Ulverston we thought. The scenery was beautiful, absolutely stunning but it took a while to get used to our packs as we'd just bought new ones. Bad move. Can i ask what dates you did it? X
Great video 🙂
Thanks :D
My fav walk of all time. Loved this walk. Well done 🎉
Thanks, the Lakes are beautiful :D
Wow! That was a very challenging start! Well done for powering through! Great video 😊
Thank you so much! :D
nice video Carrie, you got some nice footage there despite the problems...looking forward to part 2
It wasn't the best day for filming, and losing the audio was a nuisance, but you've got to make the best of things! :D

I really felt for you- the joys of walking in the UK in winter! Still enjoyed the video though and have subscribed ready for more trails!
Hi and thanks for the sub, yes winter is a bit soggy isn't it? I'll be back in the Lakes next spring when the weather cheers up again! :D

I would have given up with all that mud, so well done for persevering!
Hi Dave, I would have given up if I could, it was flippin' awful! :D
Tough going but a good video. Mud makes for such slow going. Looking forward to the next episode.
Hi Catherine. It was a tough day's walking to be sure :D
Well done for pushing on you, I can see the conditions underfoot were horrendous, good on you for completing that section.
Hi Bill, I'm glad I've done it- I won't ever walk it again, that's for sure! :D

Yeah, bad weather can turn a once beautiful walk into a living nightmare! Yeah, losing the audio was a pain but it's not the end of the world :D
Well done Carrie chin up as they say 👍
Hi Andy, it was a struggle to stay positive that day! But it's always a privilege to be able to go out walking :D

Hi Mark, it was a pretty boggy day but I made it. Glad I did it :D
@@carriehikes Hey, good to hear Carrie - take care.

Hi, I did it in the last week of October as well. I agree, the scenery is beautiful.
the misty vistas are beautiful on camera but I know the clag can get frustrating ❤😢
Your first day on the Cumbria way was so much nicer than mine! I'm so jealous! Yeah, I couldn't see anything all day, it was so sad :(
